Battle takes place in a merged dimension of the Crimson Cosmos and the dimension Chthon resides in, so both can use as much of their potential power. Who wins?
Chthon vs Cyttorak
Cyttorak will probably win it. I heard that Elder Gods were afraid of him. In his dimension I am sure that he will win it against Chthon
Hm, I don't know...Chthon is supposed to be practically the supreme master of all black magic. He also possesses souls to do his bidding from dimensions away, and the people he possesses become extremely powerful due to his power. Could Cyttorak counter Chthon's vast knowledge of dark magic?
Well, Cyttorak has his own avatar/herald or whatever you wanna call him in Juggernaut, and he's only protected by his magic, and most in the MU find it hard to stop or deal with Juggernaut! Don't think it would be easy either way, but my gut feeling says Cyttorak. Might have to do some more research on both and get back.
"@PrinceIMC said:" So the most people say Cyttorak and then Dora appears to have the opposite argument. I almost wanna change my answer just to not agree with her. "I'm going to put you in my backpack for that and give you to Swiper the fox. "
LoL absolutely LoL that is just pure gold. thanx Dorathy :-)

C'thon wins this, he's got his nifty lil book called the darkhold which pretty much allows him to do anything.

Cyttorak is a lot more powerful than Juggernaut, particualrly in his own realm.
same would go for C'thon though aswell, question is, is thiis a mixture of both realms together (which would mean their both as powerful as one another) or a Neutral ground?
And here it is again, BOTH need a Avatar/ Host to be on such a realm.
"same would go for C'thon though aswell, question is, is thiis a mixture of both realms together (which would mean their both as powerful as one another) or a Neutral ground? And here it is again, BOTH need a Avatar/ Host to be on such a realm."You said a merged dimension, so that would be the one time that neither needed an avaratr to fight personally.
I'm tempted to back Chthon for the win but it would be close run.

i wanted to make this a debate but hey, i like laying the smackdown too ;D
"Cyttorak existed as a deity (or demon) who received worship on Earth until under unknown circumstances he was banished from the Earth. He took up residence in a dimension known as the Crimson Cosmos, where time did not pass. Cyttorak has existed since the time of the ancient sorceress Morgan le Fay (during the time of the Seventh Century), and has even back then offered his magic to use as worshippers for power, as shown when Morgan utilized the Crimson Bands easily to bind Dr. Strange and Bolar.
Approximately one thousand years ago, a gathering of eight great magical beings took place. These beings -- Balthakk, Farallah, Ikonn, Krakkan, Raggadorr, Valtorr, Watoomb, and Cyttorak -- disagreed as to who had the greatest power. Hence, they settled on the Wager of the Octessence. Each being created an artifact with a fraction of their respective power, which would transform the first human who made physical contact with it into an Exemplar, a living personification of the power. Using outside agents, to construct temples to house the artifacts, the magical beings planned that the first mortal to find the artifact would trigger a spell that would quickly draw others to the remaining artifacts, creating eight Exemplars. Then would come the Ceremony of the Octessence, where a gathering of the Exemplars would attend the construction of a great magical engine, which would overwhelm the wills of all human beings. After the enslavement of humanity, each Exemplar would rule an eighth of humanity, with subsequently a war between all Exemplars in which only one would be left standing. Cyttorak managed to build a temple in a Southeast Asian country. He had a thrall demon named Xorak protect this temple for him."
now, i underlined the fact that he took residence after being banished from earth (nothing more / less special about him being in the Crimson Cosmos) ... whereas Ch'thon...
"Chthon is an Elder God that resides in a nether dimension adjacent to the earthly plane. In his dimension he is omnipotent, having total control over every aspect of the dimensions reality"
just because Cyttorak is king of that dimension doesnt give him anymore nifty powers that he didnt have before. (Comparable to Blastaar and the Negative Zone currently)

Oh but i have Cyttorak wanted to be praised by by the people outside of the crimson cosmos so he let strange and nova go, (by the way he said that he would fine the wizard as soon as he was done with nova meaning he didnt know that strange was spying on him = not Omniscient nor Omnipresent) plus he was overwhelmed by the juggernaut after he said so and someone who is Omnipotent doesnt get knocked back down.

you probably mean this here
where he says "I and the Cosmos that is myself..." right?
I'll give you that but he still didnt know strange or the Juggernaut were spying on him.
I'll try to go awy from cyttorak now and move further to Cthon to bring some evidence of his mastery in his realm / or somewhere else.

no dude galactus is at the beginning trying to claim Stranges powers and SS isn't his Herald anymore and rebells then the scenery switches to strange being captured in Crimson crystals until cain marko breaks him free and from then on they sneak through where cain asks strange how he knows where to go and he tells him he can see it through the "Ether" and then they find Cyttorak whom they spy upon while Nova is bonded to the wall, moking Cyttorak about the fact that he has to summon Elves to praise him and bla
