Cell vs Nerd Gohan

Title says all. Can the current nerdy Gohan defeat his old enemy?

Setup:

-Cell in his Super Perfect form.

VS

IMO,he will have a 50% chance.

Cell will wait to see his strenght

Gohan will go with his strongest attack,if that attack could destroy every single cell of his body,then he will get the win,otherwise.

Cell will be dissapointed and will kill Gohan.

Imo,he beat lavender only because he meditated,he concentrated all his ki in his ears so yeah.

But he doen't have the strenght to beat a Super Perfect Cell

Maybe he will have a higher chance with Only Perfect Cell,let's say 60%

Gohan is far stronger than he's ever been right now. Training with Piccolo whipped him right back into shape. All things considered, his power loss was just a minor setback.

Based off what????? Goku himself never made any particular comments on Gohan's current level, and we haven't seen any crazy performance from Gohan yet.

The gif shows Pre-Trained Gohan, who will lose to Cell. Post-Trained Gohan would win.

And Piccolo would get stomped by super perfect Cell. Also Piccolo was nerfed. Gohan talked as if he wasn't even much stronger than Namek Goku.

Pretty much this. I know it doesn't hold up in a debate, but there has been numerous Dragonball Youtubers who are obsessed with powerlevels who have tackled this subject. I'll post them if allowed, but I'm not sure how much weight they'll carry. The general consensus among them seems to be that Gohan is still really powerful, but the power gap between him and God level characters was just too huge at the time. Keep in mind that Gohan ONLY lost to Frieza, who was above SSB level Goku and Vegeta. No one else was remotely a match for him. But as far as this debate goes, I'll give it to Gohan.

@amonfire1776: Shisami was stated to be Zarbon level. After 4 months there is no way he passed namek Frieza.

And Gohan wouldn't of survived Frieza'd punch either. He needed to have his hear restarted.

Piccolo was nerfed. The writers forgot how strong he was. They thought Frieza getting a power level of 1.3 million after 4 months was a lot, so I think it's safe to say they thought Piccolo was below 1.3 million when writing the movie. Also Piccolo could of been holding back or tired from fighting all the Frieza soldiers. I mean if we actually think logically, Piccolo should of blinked away all 1,000 Frieza soldiers, but that didn't happen either.

The writers for Dragon Ball are stupid, people are looking way too hard into certain fights and dialogue between characters. Cell wins pretty easily.

So if I never stop training and if an mma fighter is still stronger than me, is the mma fighter stronger than Cell? You are using flawed logic. Piccolo could train for a million years. That doesn't automatically make him stronger than Cell or even close to super perfect Cell. He could be, but without proof we don't know. You can't just train and get stronger forever.

Cell is a great villain, but he's a joke now in terms of power.

Golden Frieza arc Gohan loses. Current Gohan most likely takes it. Gohan has crazy potential and can get stronger way faster than Goku or Vegeta.

no one is basing this on any actual facts. cell was only impressive for the time.

and adult gohan is only "unimpressive" for HIS time. we have no idea how gohan compares to, say, majin vegeta or even fat boo. we only know how badly he did vs a god level freeza (probably able to humiliate kid boo just as easy so where's the proof gohan is below kid boo?). hes resumed training anyway, so this will just be more and more of a stomp as super's current arc unfolds.

Piccolo got stronger, we just don't know by how much. For all we know he only got 10% stronger. He had 7 years to train in between the Cell and Buu saga, and he still couldn't surpass Cell in that time.

Anyways in the manga version SSB Goku is the one who broke it and Piccolo did it with the special beam canon in the anime, which is an extremely potent move.

Whis and Beerus do train, and majin Buu probably can't get stronger or weaker because he is a magical entity.

And even in real life, if you don't train it's not like you always keep getting weaker. A small woman can train every day, and she could still be weaker than a large man who never trained a day in his life. Some people are just naturally stronger than others.
