Well, he proved capable of splitting one in half with his machinery. Though that was in an alternate reality... and it wasn't really Galactus... But Earth X was a good story!

Oh I completely agree. I was the first one here to say it. God even said that other Celestials have evolved into other things, but the Dreaming Celestial is the only one that is God's equal.

I wish I was God's equal...that would be so freaking sweet! Then I could play "Infinite Crisis" and merge a bunch of Alternate Realities together in a Cosmic Pietri Dish and see what happens!! Anyways...Celestials FTW and no one is allowed to use Earth X as an example of how Galactus beats The Celestials! That wasn't Galactus...that was an amnesiac Franklin Richards who combined his powers with Galactus and thought he actually was the Big G.

Sadly yes, not even a guest appearance by Wolverine was able to save it! It's not fair! I loved that book. Especially the parts where Tiamut and The Watcher just hung out all day in Dreamspace talking about stuff.
Dang. That was one of my favorite series. My comic shop guy told me when it first came out that people would not pick it up. Truth be told, I was the only one in his shop that even wanted the comic. I bet him that if people started to read it, they would be hooked. Looks like I lost the bet.

All of the celestials are in the billions upon billions if you round em all up together. Galactus can not survive billions upon billions of celestials combining their cosmic death rays into one "OMGWTFBBQ!?!!11.." ray.
