Man I have a suggestion. These threads usually end up becoming a cluster of OOC chatter & IC posts, which isn't particularly good in my opinion. From the next one on, maybe make an OOC threat for all the chatter (or when signups are done, turn that thread into OOC. This would make the thread so much better to look at.
@just_banter: Too late I already know, Magi is the reason the game is named that way. I also know a lot more than I did before, about the Watchers, cyborgs, Mortal gods, etc. The TL;DR didn't do it justice, I was blind but now I see.

Dammit, I keep hearing voices in my head, but all I remember is being a mercenary commander, I even remember specific things but can't seem to remember what else happened to me. I look into myself, and the pieces from this puzzle are gradually forming into a bigger picture. That's right, now I remember, I've saved the life of someone of very importance a mission by shielding him from an oncoming explosion, losing my left arm in the procsess, well that explains this metal arm. It also explains the cybernetic implant I got in my right eye, what else did I lost? Can't remember anything close to that technology back them, years must have passed.
I look around and see a bunch of new stuff, next thing I know extra limbs start to pop out my body, wtf is that??
Again the voice in my head, it seems to be leading me to some sort of understanding about myself, new flashes of a strange time Invades my mind without permission, it looks like I'm being trained, learning how to use this.. power? What else, a strange artifact is infused into my body, I no longer feel pain and now can heal myself quickly.. well, that should come in handy if I ever get into a fight again..
I got the weapon, but, to what purpose? Gotta figure out what is the sources of the voice in my head telling me to do some weird things. it almost seems like I was born, no, programmed to do something, nothing too diferently from what I was used to, but at least back then i could pick my missions and I was the boss, now this, i need to find who did this to me and better yet, WHY?!
A Man on a Mission
Despite this Western aspect, I very much doubt this place is a generic town, I can almost feel it, something else is going on these lands.
But first thing first, I check my gear, military code dictates my actions, it's intrinsic, It's as if I hear the commands of my superiors during my bootcamp, gotta watch out for any sudden moves, assimilate my surroundings, you know, the basic stuff. Activating my sensors, I can now see better, hear better, I shall be able to perceive even the most sneaky ophidian. I begin to look deeper into the buildings and nothing unsual appears, for now.
Before I get too close to anything or anyone, I decide to enter full stealth mode, activating my stealth unit, my camouflage suit allows me to remain undetected by the naked eye and infra-red vision, that in combination with my unparallel stealth skill might be enough to go and reach my goals unnoticed. My radar will keep me aware of anyone that might try to sneak up on me.
I had to the Guard Station, maybe I can hear or see something worthy my attention.

@primez0ne: Just_Banter has been banned (unfairly in my opinion, but no one ever asks for my opinion) for a week i believe. Just a heads up... i'd really hate for him to have to leave this Scenario but a week is a long ass time
I expect everyone to post their first advancement by 12:00 am EST today unless there is a circumstance that prevents you from doing so. RP is recommended but not necessary as there will be no penalties for not doing so.
Benji stood and listened to the Magi but found that it was hard to focus. He didn't remember how he got here, standing in a massive crowd surrounded by strangers. He wanted to get excited by the grand speech of the Magi, but his baser instincts were winning over and he was growing increasingly paranoid. He felt exposed, like a wounded deer limping through the forest hearing the howls of wolves in the night. He was used to being the predator, an entire pack of wolves compounded into one deadly assassin of vengeance and rage. But here he was not the predator.
He liked the Magi's message and so he decided to stay. Instead he chose to become more familier with his situation. He began eve's dropping on conversations as well as talking to people who seemed to know what was going on. The Magi had said something about work, so Benji moved in that direction. It would be good to keep his mind and body busy. He kept his ears open for any useful information and continued to question those who knew what was going on. These were the first steps towards becoming predator once again.
@primez0ne: I'd like to make one more minor change to my character. I'd like to have the power of Death Battle Sub-Zero who's ice is several thousands times colder than absolute zero.
