  • Spider-Man has his abilities from the "The Other" storyline as well as his Iron Spider armor.
  • The Guyver is a composite of all the units and has both anime and manga feats.
  • Spider-Man is morals off and the Guyver is under the control of the symbiote, not the host.
  • The fight takes place in an empty amusement park at night.

Spider-Man with The Other:

No Caption Provided

Background:

Practically everyone knows the story of Peter Parker from Marvel's Earth-616. Peter was a high school student who gained the proportionate strength/toughness, speed, agility, and wall crawling ability of a spider after getting bit by a radioactive spider. After refusing to stop a criminal who ended up murdering his uncle, Peter learnt that with great power there must also come great responsibility. He then swore to use his super powers to fight crime and became the superhero: Spider-Man.

Many years later during "The Other: Evolve or Die" storyline, Peter found out he was dying for mysterious circumstances. That's when Morlun engaged Spider-Man in a rematch. Peter put up a valiant fight, but eventually perished against the Devourer of Totems. Afterwards, Spider-Man was confronted by a powerful Spider Totem known as The Other. The Other informed Peter that although his human side had died, he could return to life on the condition that he embrace his spider side. Peter agreed, and emerged from the cocoon completely healed of his prior wounds along with enhanced powers. And so, Peter Parker was reborn stronger than ever.

This amp was subsequently maintained all the way throughout the "Civil War" storyline (when Tony Stark gave Spider-Man the Iron Spider armor) as well as the "Back in Black" storyline until the conclusion of the "One More Day" storyline.

Physicals:

Upon embracing The Other, Peter outright acknowledged that his strength, speed, and Spider-Sense have been heightened more than ever.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #13)

However, keep in mind that not all of his feats post metamorphosis are necessarily above his standard capabilities and limits.

Strength:

Even before embracing The Other, Peter was already strong enough to able to effortlessly swing together 2 webbed up cars to crush against Charlie Weiderman. He then proceeds to web up the crushed cars and Weiderman and carries them with a single hand while web swinging.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #518)

Similarly, Peter was already able to casually lift and smash a tank (this doubles as a reflex feat as Spidey evaded a tank shell with his Spider-Sense). Subsequently, he proceeds to kill 2 birds with one stone by web swinging a tank against another tank hard enough to crush them both.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #320)

An unaugmented Peter also leveled a building scheduled for demolition with his striking power. He even casually carried/swung a concrete pillar like a bat.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #30)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #471)

Post The Other, Peter was able to lift some multi-ton building rubble without much strain.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol 1. #528)

An augmented Peter nonchalantly threw a jeep up several stories with enough force to crash through concrete with a single hand.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #539)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #539)

Peter with The Other even nonchalantly broke a man's hand like dry wood by simply gripping it.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #539)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #539)

The Other Spidey was also able to casually tear off the metal roof of a car.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)

Without morals to hold him back, Spidey's strength shouldn't be underestimated.

Speed:

Before his metamorphosis, Spidey was already able to essentially blitz Daredevil with his combat speed in spite of being hindered by hypnosis and not operating at peak capacity.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #438)

This is impressive as Matt Murdock was already capable of precisely deflecting handgun bullets after they're fired.

(The Man Without Fear Vol. 1 #5)

Peter himself was already able to avoid an incoming handgun bullet at point blank range after it was fired (albeit Peter's Spider-Sense allowed Peter to avoid getting blindsided in this instance).

(Spider-Man Vol. 1 #28)
(Spider-Man Vol. 1 #28)

Additionally, Spider-Man was already able to nimbly evade bullets from an assault rifle after they were fired in the middle of obscuring smoke while subsequently blitzing the shooter.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #31)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #472)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #31)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #472)

Post evolution, Peter was able to intercept a handgun bullet with his own body after it was fired.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)

Furthermore, an enhanced Peter was swiftly able to web a handgun after the trigger is pulled but before the bullet left the barrel.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #533)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #533)

Agility/Spider-Sense:

Peter's raw reflexes are further augmented by his precognitive Spider-Sense which basically enables Peter to instinctively sense and accordingly evade attacks even before they actually occur. Not to mention, the Spider-Sense also functions as a radar that instinctively guides Peter without relying on his eyesight.

(Spider-Man Vol. 1 #26)

Furthermore, Peter's Spider-Sense has even been shown to slow down his perception of time and allow him to think in slow motion. As a result of blending his pure speed with his Spider-Sense, he was able to efficiently evade a handgun bullet at point blank range after it's fired.

(The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 2 #2)
(The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 2 #2)

To put the icing on the cake however, Peter confirmed how it was as if he was being weighed down all of his life beforehand and was now finally moving at full speed with The Other.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #4)
(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #4)

Via the Spider-Sense, Spidey can instinctively avoid attacks even faster than himself as he is warned of danger well ahead of time.

For instance, an unenhanced Spidey was already able to mostly avoid light attacks from Lightmaster (who literally emits pure light) by solely relying on his Spider-Sense as a result of being blinded by the glare emitted from Edward Lansky. This doubles as a durability feat as we see Spider-Man survive intact from a concussive light beam which effortlessly tore through concrete.

(Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 1 #3)
(Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 1 #3)

The Other Spider-Man has also used his Spider-Sense and agility to instinctively evade the chaotic trajectory of electricity from Electro (who literally emits pure electricity).

(The Sensational Spider-Man Vol. 2 #30)
(The Sensational Spider-Man Vol. 2 #30)

Not to mention, The Other Spider-Man was also able to avoid Iron Man's particle beam repulsors by relying on his Spider-Sense and agility.

(Civil War Vol. 1 #5)
(Civil War Vol. 1 #5)

For reference, Tony Stark's repulsors have been explicitly stated to be as fast as light.

(Iron Man Vol. 1 #147)
(Iron Man Vol. 1 #147)

With a heightened Spider-Sense, The Other Spidey was able to precisely sense vibrations from his surrounding environment through his webbing in pitch black darkness. This on top of his newly acquired night vision from The Other.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #528)

Outside of immediate danger, his augmented Spider-Sense even allowed The Other Spider-Man to precisely locate a man he's been searching for in a crowded area by precisely sensing his reaction. This also goes to show how stealth/ambush attempts won't be effective against Spidey.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #540)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #540)

Essentially, Spider-Man can be virtually untouchable in combat when fighting seriously.

Durability/Endurance:

Although there is no direct statement on Peter's durability and endurance increasing after embracing The Other, since they come from his spider strength, which he further develops, it is safe to presume they were likely amplified.

For starters, Peter was able to withstand a punch from Morlun hard enough to indirectly shatter a car. Interestingly, Spider-Man at the time even acknowledges that he's never been hit that hard from past adversaries including Thor and the Hulk.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #32)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #473)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #32)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #473)

In a rematch, Peter was again able to withstand a punch from Morlun which indirectly broke through a concrete wall and dented a dumpster. Note how Spider-Man once again states that he's never been hit that hard in spite of facing the Hulk.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #526)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #526)

Spidey also endured the force of a nearby explosion which destroyed a warehouse.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #510)

Likewise, Peter withstood a nearby gas explosion that engulfed his back in his first encounter with Morlun.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #33)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #474)

Peter was already able to withstand the velocity of a speeding SCUD missile and endures the cold and hindered oxygen from the high altitudes.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #523)

As a showing of stamina, Spidey was able to continuously fight Morlun for over 12 hours in spite of being tired and enduring numerous tough blows from the Inheritor beforehand.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #34)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #475)

Last but not least, Peter with The Other was able to survive a handgun bullet which bounced off his bulletproof Iron Spider armor.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)

As demonstrated, the Iron Spider armor can offer additional durability against piercing attacks on top of Peter's commendable durability/endurance.

Webbing:

Spider-Man's artificial webbing is a complex chemical with amazing versatility and tensile strength that has been stated to increase in proportion to its thickness.

(Spider-Man Vol. 1 #26)
(Spider-Man Vol. 1 #26)

His webbing has been shown to have versatile settings including a thin line, wide spread spray, and a tick adhesive mode.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 Annual #1)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 Annual #1)

Not to mention, his webbing is solidly fireproof (even from the likes of the Human Torch who can engulf his entire body in flames) and can be formed into various constricts including a shield, barrier, club, ball, or sticky glue.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 Annual #1)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 Annual #1)

Peter even stated a wide spread spray of his webbing is enough to hold a 16 ton truck.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #34)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #475)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #34)/(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #475)

After getting mutated by Adriana Soria in The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 2 #20 however, Spidey's webbing become organic (a'la the Sam Raimi Spider-Man film trilogy) limited only by his body's health. These organic webs have practically the same properties as Spider-Man's artificial webbing, so he had no trouble utilizing them.

For instance, an enhanced Spider-Man was able to stop a falling helicopter with his organic webbing before it crashed down.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #17)
(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #17)

Gear/Iron Spider:

The Iron Spider armor was designed and created by Tony Stark, as a gift to Spider-Man. It was used in the Civil War event until Peter switched sides from the Pro-Registration side (led by Iron Man) to the Anti-Registration side (led by Captain America).

Here is a basic rundown of the Iron Spider armor from Tony Stark himself with features including heat resistant Kevlar micro-fiber that can resist small-caliber bullets, infrared/ultra-violet vision, carbon filters to keep out toxins, and a titanium chest-piece.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)

The Iron Spider Armor's mesh webbing can also allow Spidey to glide for more mobility options beyond his agility, leaping strength, and web swinging.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)

With the armor's infrared thermal vision, Spidey was able to to see through the roof of a car.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #529)

The Iron Spider armor also has camouflage options to blend around his environment and waldoes/artificial arms that work via thought.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #530)

The waldoes offer Peter additional piercing damage output for surprise usage in close quarters such as when he caught Captain America off guard.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #534)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #534)

Initial Thoughts:

My focus here was to bring you a quick overview of Spider-Man's superhuman capabilities as well as his versatile Iron Spider armor.

Peter should be more than fast enough to keep up with the Guyver especially due to his precognitive advantage from his heightened Spider-Sense and mobility from his web swinging/Iron Spider armor. Spidey also wields immense overall strength since his morals are off as well as endurance/stamina to last against the Guvyer. His quick thinking also means he can use the environment plus his miscellaneous powers including night vision and versatile organic webbing to his advantage.

All of that in combination with his impressive Iron Spider armor and combat experience means that the Guyver will be facing an enormous challenge to overcome.

Bio-Booster Armor Guyver!

Here's my personal favorite Guyver song for you to hopefully enjoy while reading my opener:

Loading Video...

What is the Guyver?

The Creators, an alliance of multiple alien species, used a technology called bio-booster armor. The armor itself was biological and its primary function was to enhance the host's biology so they could survive harsh environments and perform better both mentally and physically. This wasn't exactly the case for humans. The Creators were shocked by the first bio-boosted human who was frighteningly powerful and immune to their telepathy. They called him Guyver which in their language meant out of control. After the Guyver was stopped the Creators feared the Earth and fled, leaving some of their technology and creations behind. Millennia later three G-units were recovered from an ancient ship and soon found their hosts, changing the course of history.

It's important to note that all Guyver units possess the same power, the only difference between them being the fighting skills of the respective hosts. For this reason I'll be using feats from Guyvers 0, 1, 2, 3, and possibly Valcuria. Skill will also be irrelevant as this Guyver will be controlled by the murderous symbiote and not the host.

Powers & devices list:

The Guyver has a fairly long list of powers, organs, and mechanical parts. I'll do my best to cover them all.

Control Medal: The control medal is like the Guyver's brain. Even minor damage to it can be a serious problem for the host. The medal controls all the Guyver's weapons, senses, and other functions. It also contains the host's memories and genetic code. It is unfortunately a big glowing spot on the armor's forehead...

Bio-enhancement: This is the main function of the armor and it does more than make the host stronger and faster. Regardless of whatever body conditioning they've done the armor increases their muscle and bone density to peak levels. It also changes their internal organs, relocating some and making pretty much all of them better. The heart and lungs are replaced completely with more efficient bio-mechanical organs which gives the host more efficient blood flow and respiration. Even without the armor the Guyver's host is more than human. Now on to the important stuff.

Regeneration: The Guyver might not heal as quickly as characters like Wolverine or Deadpool who are famous for their healing factors, but it can still regenerate a huge gash in its chest in less than a minute and grow back entire limbs. Not only are wounds that would normally be fatal only a hindrance, but when Guyver 1's host died after having his control medal ripped out the medal grew a perfect clone of him hours later using some cells that were still stuck to it. He also lost his hand once and it grew into an imperfect but still fully formed clone.

Gravity Orb: The Guyver has an orb at its waist that lets it channel gravitational power through the body. This makes the Guyver much stronger and faster by using gravity to enhance its strength. It can also fly and use the Pressure Cannon.

Vibration Globes: The two orbs at the Guyver's mouth can create intense sound waves for an attack called the Sonic Buster. If it's done just right it can tear anything into molecules.

Hyper Sensors: More orbs! Yay! The two orbs on either side of the Guyver's head give it something very similar to the Spider-Sense. They can sense electromagnetic fields around the Guyver and let it react to threats outside of it's line of sight or even invisible attackers/attacks.

Head Beam: Just above the control medal on the forehead is yet another freaking orb which fires an omnidirectional heat beam. According to Guyver 2 it uses excess body heat which the Guyver has a lot of. It's great for protecting the control medal.

High-Frequency Swords: The extending blades on the Guyver's forearms can vibrate at such a high frequency that they can cut through any matter. The only thing that can stop them is something vibrating at the same high frequency like the blades of some Zoanoids. The blades are somewhat brittle, though. They've been easily melted by acid or blown apart by direct explosions before.

Mega Smasher: This is clearly stated multiple times to be the Guyver's most powerful attack. Hidden behind the Guyver's chest plates are two jiggly jelly orbs, but don't laugh. These are actually cannons that call on massive energy from another dimension to blow anything away. The only way anyone has ever survived a mega smasher is by putting up a force field that absorbs most of the damage or by reflecting it back at the Guyver. The downsides are that it takes a moment to fire and is a huge energy drain.

Starter Feats:

The first feat of Guyver 1 is overpowering a Zoanoid with a dozen or more times the strength of a human by breaking its arms and crushing its head.

No Caption Provided
No Caption Provided

Guyver 1 also broke through this wall easily.

No Caption Provided

In the classic anime Guyver 1 was able to match the strength of Darzerb who has the greatest physical strength of all Zoanoids.

The video also has some good feats like badly morphing a thick metal door with a few punches, blowing a similar metal door apart like paper with the Pressure Cannon, and no-selling Darzerb's fire breath.

Just the force from Guyver 1 running by caused a car to lift of the ground.

No Caption Provided

Here's 1 using the Pressure Cannon one handed in rapid succession.

No Caption Provided

The last feat I'll go over in this post is the speed feat. You can't fight Spider-Man unless you're fast, and Guyver is VERY fast.

This guy was shooting at Guyver 1 which was useless but one of his bullets is accidentally headed for Tetsuro. The Guyver's sensors automatically detect the threat to the host's friend and the armor acts on its own, vaporizing the bullet with the head beam right before it strikes.

No Caption Provided

This is huge because even when the host acts instead of the armor head beams and similar blasts can still be dodged, even multiple beams at a time. These beams as you just saw make bullets look like they're standing still. The Guyver under its own control is even faster than when the host is in control and even then is clearly hypersonic in both movement and reaction speed. Spider-Man is fast but the Guyver has the edge here.

Breakdown

Spider-Man is a challenging opponent, but I think he'd be a better match for a hyper Zoanoid than a Guyver. He's fighting a creature that's hardwired to fight and kill and has plenty of weapons. The Guyver is definitely fast enough to keep up with him and can match his physical strength. The Guyver will have an advantage at range with his wide arsenal of deadly attacks and it can keep Peter at bay with his blades. There are many ways for Peter to die in this fight and the only way he can put down the Guyver is with a direct punch to the control medal, something he won't get the chance to do. He'll hold out for awhile with his agility and clever use of his webbing but it won't save him.

Strength:

The first feat of Guyver 1 is overpowering a Zoanoid with a dozen or more times the strength of a human by breaking its arms and crushing its head.

Guyver 1 also broke through this wall easily.

Not bad showings, but I have yet to cover all of Peter's major physical showings that should match and surpass what you've shown for the Guyver so far.

Such as when Spidey without The Other easily ripped through a steel door that's 1 inch thick like paper.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #227)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #227)

Moreover, an unenhanced Spidey easily ripped through a triple-reinforced steel door weighing hundreds of pounds and effortlessly tossed it aside with enough force to shatter a concrete wall.

(Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 1 #56)
(Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 1 #56)

And in a state of extreme stress, an unaugmented Spidey was even able to lift multiple R68A Subway cars (which each weigh 46.36 tons) while commenting on how he normally holds back his strength tremendously. What also makes this instance impressive is that Spider-Man was hindered by a severe headache in the same issue.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #420)

Plus, without The Other, Spidey tactically webbed down a nearby building against Mac Gargan/Venom III while making Gargan think Peter misaimed his webbing.

(Marvel Knights Spider-Man Vol. 1 #11)

When it comes to striking power, Spider-Man with The Other was able to punch Extremis Tony hard enough to indirectly shatter a hole through a concrete wall.

(Civil War Vol. 1 #5)
(Civil War Vol. 1 #5)

And an augmented Peter replicated his feat of striking Extremis Tony hard enough to indirectly shatter a hole through a brick wall while also chipping off bits of Tony's armor with his overall strikes.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #536)

To put this in perspective, Extremis Iron Man was able to completely no-sell a combined assault of high caliber machine gun bullets, artillery, and missiles from some armed soldiers, tanks, as well as attack helicopters before completely incinerating them in a counterattack.

(The Invincible Iron Man/Iron Man Vol. 4 #9)

Just the force from Guyver 1 running by caused a car to lift of the ground.

This instance appears to be more so a byproduct of travel speed rather than the Guyver's strength necessarily. And Peter has experience keeping up with opponents with relatively greater movement speed such as Speed Demon and Extremis Iron Man through his Spider-Sense and skill.

Since Spider-Man is a skilled tactician, he will be smart enough to tactically notice and exploit the control medal in the course of battle. Not to mention, Peter is well versed in using the environment and distractions to get the drop on superhuman opponents he can't overpower normally.

Such as when he tactically spilled slippery cooking oil near the Shocker's feet and distracted him with taunts. It ended up being part of a larger goal of tricking Shocker into launching himself back by using his destructive vibro gauntlets and Newton's Third Law of Motion against him.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #335)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #335)

Peter with The Other was also able to exploit a nearby steam pipe against Mister Hyde after noticing Hyde was tough enough to no sell crashing through a brick wall. Peter tactically made Hyde assume he missed with his webbing and subsequently released steam at Hyde's face in order to catch him off guard.

(The Sensational Spider-Man Vol. 2 #37)

Furthermore, Spider-Man resourcefully outfought the physically superior Juggernaut. After realizing he couldn't remove his helmet or exploit any conventional weakness, Spidey nonetheless improvised by resourcefully steering him into a recently poured foundation of wet cement. Through his quick thinking, Peter ended up succeeding in "stopping" the Juggernaut.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #230)

In any case, one surefire method of efficiently damaging the control medal is through his armor's artificial arms. The waldoes provide insane striking power, surprise, and reach which Peter has competently used to his advantage in cqc.

Case in point being when Peter's cunningly utilized the waldoes to pierce Titanium Man's helmet and damage his sensors in close quarters.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #531)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #531)

For reference, Titanium Man is primarily made of extremely dense titanium designed to rival Iron Man's own armor while simultaneously withstanding extreme temperatures.

(Tales of Suspense Vol. 1 #70)
(Tales of Suspense Vol. 1 #70)

Boris Bullski's robust armor was even able to directly no sell a missile.

(Tales of Suspense Vol. 1 #81)

Furthermore, Titanium Man was able to no sell multiple rifle bullets in his encounter with The Other Spider-Man. This also doubles as a speed feat for Peter as we see he evades the bullets after they're fired.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #530)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #530)

Not to mention, Spidey still has his webbing, stingers, and punching output against the Guyver's control medal.

Durability:

High-Frequency Swords: The extending blades on the Guyver's forearms can vibrate at such a high frequency that they can cut through any matter. The only thing that can stop them is something vibrating at the same high frequency like the blades of some Zoanoids. The blades are somewhat brittle, though. They've been easily melted by acid or blown apart by direct explosions before.

Peter has the means to preemptively evade sword strikes with his Spider-Sense and could also intercept the blades with his sturdy waldoes.

Alternatively, the High-Frequency blades can be matched by Peter's own venomous stingers which he acquired from The Other. These mystical stingers have been shown to activate involuntarily and function as extending blades.

For instance, The Other Spidey was able to instinctively activate his stingers to block sword strikes from the metahuman El Dorado.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #7)
(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #7)

In the same issue, El Dorado was strong enough to effortlessly slice apart The Other Spidey's organic webbing.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #7)
(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #7)

Btw, Peter's web fluid has been stated to be over 2 times stronger than steel.

(AvX: Vs Vol. 1 #2)
(AvX: Vs Vol. 1 #2)

An enhanced Peter also instinctively activated his stingers to match Ero and her own stingers like extending blades.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #21)

Moreover, the venom in his stingers were potent enough to incapacitate and subsequently hospitalize the metahuman El Muertos who was physically able to go toe to toe with an enhanced Spidey in wrestling.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #6)
(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #6)

These stingers provide Peter with an additional means of damaging the control panel due to their extended reach. Not to mention, it's likely Peter's stingers might even outright break the High-Frequency Swords since you've mentioned how they're brittle enough to be easily melted by acid or blown apart by explosions. I should also point out that Peter has more showings of piercing durability with his Iron Spider armor against high caliber bullets which indicate Peter should resist getting sliced by the blades.

He was able to block Minigun bullets (which have a muzzle velocity of Mach 2.5 and a rate of fire of 6,000 rpm) while protecting civillians in a school bus. This doubles as a speed feat as Peter intercepted the bullets and their rate of fire after they were fired.

(The Invincible Iron Man/Iron Man Vol. 4 #13)
(The Invincible Iron Man/Iron Man Vol. 4 #13)

Furthermore, he was able to survive from the Superhuman Restraint Unit/Cape Killers's high caliber bullets that shattered reinforced glass sturdy enough to catch Peter off guard. Presumably, Spidey also tanked the fall down from the Avengers Headquarters building.

(Civil War Vol. 1 #5)
(Civil War Vol. 1 #5)

Regardless, he should be able to at least endure slashes in non vital areas while tagging Spider-Man isn't easy to begin with.

Now, to elaborate more on The Other Spidey's own durability against the Guyver's physical strength, he tanked getting crushed on a wall hard enough to indirectly leave a crater from Titanium Man.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #530)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #530)

Just so you know, Titanium Man is strong enough to crush a fighter aircraft which can potentially fly at supersonic speeds.

(Iron Man Vol. 1 #317)
(Iron Man Vol. 1 #317)

He also withstood a blow from Extremis Iron Man hard enough to indirectly shatter the concrete on the ground from skyscraper heights. In spite of that, The Other Spidey subsequently proceeds to once again strike Tony hard enough to indirectly shatter a hole through a concrete wall. If we look closely, Peter was even able to somewhat chip Tony's robust armor.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #536)

For reference, Extremis Iron Man was strong enough to literally rip a plane in half.

(The Invincible Iron Man/Iron Man Vol. 4 #8)

Not to mention, I've already shown an unenhanced Spidey enduring multiple blows from the Juggernaut beforehand who was already showcased feats of effortlessly crushing a girder and casually ripping off the whole corner of a building in the same issue.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #230)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #230)

Essentially, I see Spider-Man's physical prowess prevailing against the sheer strength of the Guyver especially when taking into account his Spider-Sense, comparable speed, versatile webbing, and tactical skill in order to resourefully exploit the Guyver's vulnerable Control Medal.

Endurance:

Head Beam: Just above the control medal on the forehead is yet another freaking orb which fires an omnidirectional heat beam. According to Guyver 2 it uses excess body heat which the Guyver has a lot of. It's great for protecting the control medal.

I doubt this will be a significant hindrance for Peter as on top of his Spider-Sense, his heat resistant Iron Spider armor was able to withstand blows from Molten Man's fiery body. As the icing on the cake, even his robust waldoes/artificial arms have been able to pin down as well as suffocate Molten Man with sheer force.

(The Sensational Spider-Man Vol. 2 #31)

For reference, Molten Man's aura is hot enough to indirectly melt asphalt, concrete, and metal by merely walking past them.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #440)

Even without the Iron Spider armor and The Other, Spider-Man was able to endure the heat of Electro's lethal electricity and still had the strength to kick him back.

(Marvel Knights Spider-Man Vol. 1 #3)
(Marvel Knights Spider-Man Vol. 1 #3)

Just so you know, Electro's electricity is able to blow apart concrete and is hot enough to melt metal instantly. This instance also doubles a reflex feat for an unenhanced Spider-Man avoiding his electricity.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 Annual #1)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 Annual #1)

And as I've brought up beforehand, Peter's webbing is also solidly fireproof/heat resistant. So his different types of webbing can be used to intercept the head beams and jam the orbs.

Such as when Spidey without The Other managed to block multiple rifle bullets with a web shield after they were fired and simultaneously saved Vermin in spite of being drugged and off balance from Harry Osborn.

(The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 1 #183)
(The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 1 #183)

Spider-Man has also managed to use his webbing to clog up the barrels of multiple high caliber machine guns in spite of their kinetic energy and rate of fire.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #227)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #227)

And here's an instance where he used the sticky glue setting in his webbing when he covered up John Jameson's entire face.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #42)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #42)

I doubt this will play a significant factor as Spidey has the means to end the fight efficiently with his waldoes, striking power, and web incap.

In any case, Peter similarly has an enhanced healing factor which got noticeably augmented after his transformation from The Other.

This was showcased when Spidey with The Other managed to rapidly heal from a brutal beatdown from the Rhino after getting ambushed by Aleksei when he wasn't at his best. Peter ended up getting pretty much healed in the span of a few hours in spite of not even having medical treatment.

(The Sensational Spider-Man Vol. 2 #33)

For reference, Spider-Man has also stated Rhino is capable of bench pressing 80 tons in terms of strength.

(Spider-Man Unlimited Vol. 3 #6)
(Spider-Man Unlimited Vol. 3 #6)

To elaborate on his willpower/endurance, Spider-Man without The Other was able to endure a point blank car explosion and being crushed by multiple vehicles from Electro on top of getting electrocuted beforehand.

(Marvel Knights Spider-Man Vol. 1 #3)

Despite all that, Spider-Man would still subsequently endure a point blank gas explosion from Electro while still being able to fight.

(Marvel Knights Spider-Man Vol. 1 #3)

Spider-Man without The Other was also able to endure a lethal dosage of radiation on top of his prior injuries from his first encounter with Morlun and still proceeds to beat down the Inheritor while exploiting his weakness to radiation. This also doubles as a stamina feat as Peter's first fight with Morlun began and ended at night after Peter exerted himself for over 2 days while heavily wounded and exhausted.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #35) /(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #476)

And speaking of prolonged stamina, an unaugmented Spider-Man even managed to cunningly escape from Doc Ock in spite of not having slept for days and suffering from a duodenal ulcer.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #113)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #113)

Speed:

Vibration Globes: The two orbs at the Guyver's mouth can create intense sound waves for an attack called the Sonic Buster. If it's done just right it can tear anything into molecules.

Here's 1 using the Pressure Cannon one handed in rapid succession.

I see Spider-Man being fast enough to evade the rapid fire of his long range weapons through his Spider-Sense as I've already posted an enhanced Spidey outpacing high caliber rifle/Minigun bullets after they're fired (that are faster than handgun bullets) as well as preemptively evading electricity and light without necessarily being as genuinely fast/faster.

Just to drive the point home, here are some more instances of Spider-Man avoiding light speed attacks via blending his speed and precognition.

Against Chance, an unaugmented Spider-Man was able to masterfully avoid multiple of his lasers explictly stated to be as fast as light through his preemptive Spider-Sense.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #336)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #336)

And here's yet another instance of Spider-Man without The Other utilizing his Spider-Sense to evade light beams from Lightmaster as well as Dazzler possessed by Edward Lanksy.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #203)

Not to mention, Captain America taught an unenhanced Peter how to focus his chi and slow down his perception of time even though he already had superhuman reflexes.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #1)

On top of this training, Spidey's heightened speed/Spider-Sense became even more instinctive after being "reborn" as exemplified by an augmented Peter involuntarily blitzing Tony Stark even though he wasn't in serious danger.

(Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 1 #4)

That's fairly impressive speed showing for the Guyver and its head beam, but handgun bullets tend to be around Mach 1. This means the head beam can still be massively faster than a handgun bullet at around high supersonic speeds. Plus, you've yet to post the feats of the host and Guyver genuinely reacting to the head beams after they're fired.

On the other hand, Spider-Man himself has significantly outpaced high supersonic+ attacks numerous times.

Such as when Peter without The Other saved Sarah Stacy from a sniper rifle bullet after it's fired.

(The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 2 #25)
(The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 2 #25)

After becoming significantly faster with The Other, Spidey was even able to react to incoming missiles by raising his hands and webbing up them up without getting blitzed.

Moreover, this further highlights the speed of his organic webbing as well. Evidently, if the Mach 2-5 missiles were significantly faster than Peter's web fluid, his webbing wouldn't have even ejected from his wrists on time.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #534)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #534)

It's also worth noting that unenhanced Spidey's rapid combat speed was compared to a machine gun while overwhelming Kingpin. To say nothing of how Spidey's only gotten tremendously faster since then.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #68)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #68)

Regardless, Spider-Man has shown more than once that he can also keep up with significantly faster opponents through his Spider-Sense and resourcefulness.

And as I've shown beforehand, an augmented Spider-Man with the Iron Spider armor was able to mostly dance around and land blows on Extremis Iron Man even with his organic webbing at point blank range.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #536)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #536)

Theses instances were in spite of Extremis Iron Man already displaying high supersonic to low hypersonic movement speed (which by necessity means his perception and reaction speed accommodates his ability to properly function and maneuver at those speeds).

Besides perceiving and blowing up multiple incoming Mach 2-5 missiles which I showed beforehand, Extremis Iron Man was able to travel at Mach 3 against Graviton while saving Spidey from Graviton's gravitational fields. This doubles as a durability feat for Spidey as he withstood heightened gravity meant to kill Captain America after heroically intercepting the attack.

(The Invincible Iron Man/Iron Man Vol. 4 #8)

Plus, Extremis Iron Man at one point showed that he can travel and function at speeds over Mach 8.

(The Invincible Iron Man/Iron Man Vol. 4 #9)
(The Invincible Iron Man/Iron Man Vol. 4 #9)

Without The Other, Spidey even managed to skillfully tag Speed Demon with a webline in spite of the speedster being established as noticeably faster than Peter in the same issue. Not to mention, Peter also compares his movement speed to Quicksilver (pre Isotope E amp) due to his prior experience.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #222)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #222)

In a later encounter, an unenhanced Peter was able to anticipate his movements and skillfully landed a crucial strike in cqc in spite of Speed Demon's significant speed advantage. What makes this more impressive is how Spidey confirms that he could have easily avoided the Speed Demon with a leap while James Sanders was already in motion.

(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #280)
(The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #280)

As it stands, it seems Spider-Man and the Guyver are of comparable speed with Peter having the heightened precognitive advantage to keep against attacks/opponents massively faster than himself.

Conclusion:

As tough as the Guyver is, Spider-Man has conquered greater odds while outclassed as a testament to his sheer combat experience.

With his quick thinking and resourcefulness, Peter will efficiently outfight the Guyver by primarily exploiting his control medal which you acknowledge is his Achilles' heel. Outside of his sheer striking power which should at least match if not surpass the Guyver's own strength, Peter also has the means to critically damage the control medal with his robust mystical stingers and waldoes. The venomous stingers and waldoes will essentially counter the Guyver's reach with high-frequency swords and offer the element of surprise for Spidey to cunningly exploit in cqc. Spider-Man also has the sheer stamina/endurance for a prolonged fight and the durability to last against the Guyver's physical strength and weapons.

While their raw speed appears comparable, The Guyver's long range weapons like his head beam, vibration globes, and mega smasher are essentially countered by Spider-Man's precognitive and agility advantage. Due to the Spider-Sense's early warning, Peter can accordingly telegraph and evade the ranged attacks without even necessarily being faster. So it will be a challenge for the Guyver to even cleanly tag the maneuverable Spider-Man. And with his sheer willpower, nothing short of death will stop Peter from fighting.

There is also the factor of Peter's organic webbing which will be very useful in this fight due to their versatility, range, and respectable speed. Such uses include intercepting the Guyver's long range attacks like a shield and slowing down the Guyver through jamming his orbs/body with web spam for incapacitation. His webbing can also be utilized in more underhanded ways such as ricochet shots and environmental uses which I can elaborate on in my next post.

Essentially, there are many ways for Peter to keep up and tactically exploit the Guyver's weak point rather than simply trying to overpower the Guyver in a straightforward brawl.

@gothamciti: To be honest the stupid reason I'm taking so long is that I lost the flash drive I was keeping my collection of scans on. I'll find it, though, that's a promise.

Gotcha, no problem.

@gothamciti:

Don't you think Electro missed at that moment, or did Spider-Man dodge? When did Electro throw cars?
