Titans Robin - A Brief Introduction

Listen to the screams as you read. They will forge you into a weapon on the battle forums, a machine capable of no emotion, a man who can tear apart the best arguments like paper. Now onto the post...

1) Strength

There's several advantages Grayson has in this matchup and strength is irrefutably one of them. Why don't we start with the basics? Grayson's already shown himself to be capable of effortlessly yanking a man several feet towards him (1), a feat comparable or outright superior to anything you can bring to the table for Daredevil. That's only the beginning though, Dick has strength feats massively superior to this.

Allow me to introduce the Nuclear Family. The family is comprised of several enhanced individuals (Via serum) who have incredible strength. The father for example, showed himself capable of effortlessly ripping off car doors (2). I don't think I need to delve into the specifics of exactly why this is laughably beyond Daredevil, I'm sure you'll agree it is, which is ultimately all that matters. You may question how this feat relates to Grayson, for which I have a simple answer. Grayson's already shown himself to be comparably strong to the Nuclear Family. Take for example, him halting the father's arm and stopping him from forcing a blade into Grayson's heart (3), demonstrating that he isn't that far behind in strength, which puts him beyond Daredevil by a clear margin.

2) Striking

While Grayson's striking looks seemingly lacklustre on a surface level he more than likely hits hard enough to incapacitate Daredevil. To substantiate this why don't we examine what those who are more or less comparable to Dick can do? Starfire has shown herself capable of punching straight through a wall (4), a feat that assuredly places her as somebody capable of subduing Daredevil and probably even massively damaging him within a few hits. Whilst Grayson obviously doesn't hit as hard as that we can infer he's not that far behind, based off the similar effects their strikes have on the Nuclear family (See their respective fights against the family for reference). This shows Grayson has comparable damage output to Starfire, which should thus prove he's capable of bringing down Matthew without much of a sweat.

3) Durability

Whilst Grayson likely isn't durable enough to hold out indefinitely given his other advantages that's hardly relevant. He's more than good enough to take a clobbering from Matthew for a decent period of time. Dick's taken falls that have put a huge dent in cars (5), Daredevil certainly doesn't have the striking to suggest he'd be able to demolish somebody of this calibre with his hits. As demonstrated above however, Grayson is more than capable of causing massive damage to Murdock in a short space of time.

4) Combat

Whilst Matthew certainly has a larger arsenal of feats to draw from given Dick's lack of material (In part due to only having a singular season and also as a result of his use of a staff as a meele weapon) quantity should never be mistaken for quality. Sure, Daredevil's racked up a great deal of generic combat feats against fodder (Such as Hand Ninjas, Thugs, Cops and the like) these are poor substitutes for actual performances against established opposition.

Take Hawk and Dove for example. They have shown they can deal out beatings against groups of enemies like nobody's business (6) yet were completely, totally and utterly demolished by the Nuclear Family (7). Despite this Dick takes two members of the Nuclear Family 2V1 and completely dominates the fight, out-baiting, out-skilling, damaging and downright demolishing them. The family's only edge comes when they BFR Grayson as opposed to overpowering him head to head, a luxury Daredevil will not have in this fight. Grayson is essentially capable of destroying two enhanced who can stomp established fodder wreckers with little difficulty. That's beyond anything you can bring to the table for Matthew and no amount of posting "impressive" fodder wrecking feats will change that.

Those are the cards. You sure you still want to play?
