Daredevil, The Man without Fear

Bio

There's no need to waste time explaining it, you all know it. Gets hit by a truck, batch of chemicals splash into his eyes giving him superhuman senses. For those of you don't, here it is from the Marvel Handbook :

Martial Arts/Fighting Skill

Now this without a doubt will be the most debated aspect of the debate.

Pressure points/Nerve Strikes

Matt is one of the few people in the MU to consistently utilize pressure points/nerve strikes.

The first strike he hits the man with makes him temporarily blind. The 3 other strikes caused pain equal to or worse than being burned

In this instance, with 3 nerve strikes manages, to make Hammer Head scream in pain. How durable is Hammer Head? Well he can casually get up after taking a beating from an angry Luke Cage and can take multiple punches from Miles Morales and stay standingHe can take punches from a low mid tier and a guy with Spider-Man class strength, without feeling pain and yet Matt had him screaming with just 3 strikes.

Takes out a crowd of mind controlled civilians with nerve strikes.

Fighting Experience :

Curbstomps Bullseye. It should be noted that he has defeated Elektra (Matt's near but not so much equal), twice.

IMO, Daredevil has a clear cut advantage when it comes to this category

I could go on all day about how easily Daredevil can deflect bullets.

Effortlessly glides through through bullets fired from three guns

Twists and turns moving himself out of the path of the bullets

Combat Speed :

Evades multiple hits from a mind-controlled Spider-Man

Evades a shield throw from Captain America (he can throw it and intercept bullets mid air) and manages to consistently dodge and evade his attacks.

Strength

Now I'm not going to give this much importance or even bother to counter it, as Slade obviously takes this in a landslide and arguing against that would be futile. However i am going to mention one noteworthy showing.

In Daredevil Vol 2 #50, takes down King Pin after a long and brutal fight. Now for anyone who doesn't know or has little knowledge on King Pin, it wouldn't seem impressive given how fat he looks. To give you an idea about Fisk and how much of a beast is he, obverse.

Here you can see Fisk fighting 8 master martial artists and all of them are from the best martial arts schools of the world. He drops them all in 17 seconds without even getting tagged. So he's fairly skilled in his own right.

Now for how strong he is

Was about to beat crush Captain America had it not been for Falcon.

Was legit man handling T'Challa. Now for further context, at the time of this event T'Challa had abdicated the throne of Wakanda and was not the Black Panther anymore therefore he was depowered. Depowered or not, T'Challa is still one of the most skilled fighters in the MU and yet he only managed to beat King Pin by using a gadget.

Matt was fighting an opponent who is by all means a beast. Capable of overpowering people as strong as Captain America and nearly killing T'Challa, one of Marvels most skilled fighter.

Durability

Not only was Matt taking hits from Bruiser (Who is a 7 tonner) but also managed to defeat him as well.

Get's shocked by Wakadan weaponry and continues fighting, in-fact he wasn't even KOed. He faked it so he can gain an audience with the queen.

Can trade punches the Nameless one, who can throw around tractors like they're nothing.

Falls out of a helicopter and slams onto the concrete hard enough to create a crater does nothing but piss him off.

To summarize.

At first, glance everyone would think this is a mismatch or a stomp in favor of Deathstroke but in reality it isn't. True Slade does have a large advantage in strength and durability, Daredevil is a specialist when it comes to fighting much stronger opponents than himself. His fighting style doesn't rely on striking power like most street levelers, it relies on speed, agility and most importantly, nerve strikes. As I've shown, Daredevil has taken out extremely durable opponents using nerve strikes and Slade isn't really any different. Daredevil has superior speed and overall fighting skill which should give him a win after an amazing fight.
