What's the strongest physical attack that Casper can tank? He must stay in one place and tank the attack, without dodging or trying to block. Don't just say "he's immune to all physical attacks" because that's a No Limits Fallacy and on Comic Vine feats are greater than statements. Show his greatest durability feats!

  1. A punch from you
  2. A kick from Donkey (Shrek series)
  3. Batkick from Batman
  4. A bloodlusted punch from Ben Grimm (The Thing)
  5. Wolverine's claw slash
  6. The meteor that killed the dinosaurs, crashing down on Casper
  7. A speedblitz from Supergirl
  8. A bloodlusted speedblitz from Superman
  9. Bloodlusted World Breaker Hulk's Punch
  10. 20 seconds of constant IMPs from bloodlusted Flash

The battle is on a indestructible planet

He's intangible, so all of them.

Has he ever tanked something as powerful as Superman's punch?

I guess if Superman can punch Brainiac so hard every Brainiac in the multiverse felt it maybe he could hurt Casper.

No, because punches can't hit him...

Street level punches. How do you know planet busting punches won't hurt him?

ok im gonna do this once because something tells me its a wasted effort but at least i can say i made the effort.

alright here we go... its not a NLF because physical matter has no effect on him unless you can prove that superman or flash or anything else is different from any other physical matter (which you can't) then nothing hurts him because he literally is not effected by physical matter.

whatever point you are trying to make you are using the absolute worst example to do it. The only thing you are doing is making a fool out of yourself and proving just how laughable your argument is.

He's never shown that he can be intangible against attacks of that magnitude. Their strength can clearly overtax his intangibility.

He needs better feats for sure.

@jucaslucasa: @cergic:This thread is supposed to throw shade at how, when author and Word of God states and confirms multiple times in stories that a character is completely immune to something, CV needs something on the level of Superman or Galactus for feats.

@the_living_tribunal_24:

10,000+ post is NOT a measurement of intelligence.

He's probably referring to something like One Punch Man. The author has said that he can defeat anyone in one punch. Therefore some people believe he can beat Galactus or King Thanos in one punch. They say OPM doesn't need feats because the writer said he can beat ANYONE in one punch.

@the_living_tribunal_24: Saying Casper is untouchable because weaker characters aren't able to touch him is like saying that Saitama can't be damaged because nothing in his verse has hurt him (aside from gags).

You must think that Saitama can take LTs attacks as well. lmfao XD

What?? The living tribunal is my favorite character fan and you think that? Lol is saitama using an ability that prevents him from being touched by physical contact??

You can't. The OP of this thread is trying to make some weird, arbitrary point about how people overuse NLFs on CV, and Jucas appears to be trolling for fun... I think.

I think it's more the other way around.

Does Superman have feats of harming intangible metaphysical or spiritual spirits before? With just sheer physical strength that is....

@sungsam: he does have some crazy outlier feats of doing so, but the writers were on something else. The guy was a ghost but for some reason his atoms where still tangible. So I asked myself how is he a ghost if his atoms are still tangible?? This would mean he's not a ghost and has a physical form.

How would you argue against Toon Force characters then? When they say "Oh, it's joke character!!!! Therefore they beat Omnipotents!!!!! You don't have to take it seriously!!!!"

Not arguing with or against, just wondering...

You kind of answered this thread then, you're saying Superman has outlier feats of "doing so" meaning punching intangible ghosts, then that means Casper is not safe from his punches. And Casper is pretty much not totally intangible then due to the Atoms thing. I've never seen a fiction before where Ghosts have freaking Atoms, odd.... But in this case, fair enough...

Also, yes, Casper IS a Ghost... but different fictions have different interpretations on the relationship between Ghosts, Science and Physics. Some fictions may or may not show that ghosts can literally survive Omniversial attacks and that's how intangible they are to totalities, but Casper is made of Atoms so he's not truly intangible.

@sungsam: You don't argue these type of characters. I think there is a rule somewhere in which the discussion of Toon-Force characters is banned, and for this exact reason- not only are they inconsistent in feats, but the nature of their very powers is not clear in the slightest. Same thing with using Dragon Ball characters against live action.

@sungsam: no. You don't understand what I'm saying. 1)supes couldn't punch whoever the guy was. 2)the writers came up with some dumb reason for supes to affect him (heat), so supes heat vision couldn't hit the guy but for some reason heat could be transferred(which is dumb since that to be transferred you need to interact with it and since he wasn't interacting with the physical work no energy Could've been transferred.)

Are these the same rules that say Dragonball characters are banned but people still use them in battle threads? Not saying you're invalidated, or that the rules are wrong. It's just odd.
