How does Carnage slaughter him so fast when there's multiple carbonadium tentacles coming at him that are fast enough to block bullets? Also let's not forget that he can tank punches from Colossus, RPG's, Wolverine's claws and continue fighting.
And we haven't even touched on the death spores yet.
In-character, I think Carnage takes it. Omega Red often jobs pretty hard and has struggled against the likes of Psylocke, Wolverine without a healing factor, Maverick, etc. Carnage should be substantially faster scaling from Spider-Man (Omega scales to Wolverine) and should tear him up pretty fast with the symbiote

What's your proof that it won't work? It's already worked on someone with an exceptional healing factor.

A) Life force drain has worked on Colossus who doesn't have human physiology. B) So? All that means is that it will take a bit longer, it in no way means that he would be completely immune to it, considering that it HAS worked on someone with a powerful healing factor.
Carnage beats the shit out of him. He's above him in strength (although omega red is no slouch), faster than Spider-man, and has a flexible physiology. Omega Red doesn't stand a chance. Should be over very quickly.
Wolverine would get stomped by Carnage like a baby's rattle.
Wolverine has a tough time against Spiderman, and Carnage is Spiderman's superior by miles. Carnage is stronger, faster, and more dangerous than Spiderman and Venom combined.
Wolverine could literally do nothing to Carnage, while Carnage could tear Logan apart like a plate full of buffalo wings.
That being said, it would be a tough fight between Carnage and Red. It could go either way. Carnage is one of the most lethal villains in Marvel's NYC. But Omega Red is a total team wrecker who is nigh invincible.
