Yes and no. While 'blood bending' is arguably unusable, dehydration or manipulating water in the body should be fine. Wine is about 15% alcohol and 85% water while blood is 80%; i think it's obvious what she could do with the water in the body. Just look at what happens to these glass bottles and the fact the liquid could pierce those armor suits so humans don't stand a chance.

Stupid ass avatar fanboys keep throwing around the term bloodbending with Mera lmao. Did she bloodbend Orm when he was about to kill Arthur or when he chased them. Or how about Black Manta when he bombed they ass. Or those random fodder who had her running for dear life.

I'm sure the blast would hurt Mera, but in h2h I think Mera is more skilled, physically stronger, and her powers are more versatile.

That and the location appears to have a lot of water for Mera to use in this fight.

@heatforce: @supremthor69: Mera in the movie needed multiple seconds with characters holding still for her to manipulate water inside of their bodies. She didn't even try to manipulate the water in the atlanteans suits even when she was trying to kill them. Even the wine thing took multiple seconds to accomplish. Even if she can manipulate blood, she doesn't have the feats to do it without giving Carol or any competent combattant ample oppurtunity to beat her.

@americanspeeddemon: the slow speed of her attacks on land is a fair point but there may have been a reason as to why she couldn't effect the water in the suits. Plus IN the water, her water bending is much, much faster.

Non-binary loses horribly. She isn't even Iron man tier in my opinion.

There is no binary, she just unlocks her base full potential after disabling the chip that nerfed her powers
