Movie Thor without his hammer from Thor 1 vs Movie Captain America??

If thats so, perhaps Captain America, while Thor probably is physically stronger, going by Avengers movie rather than Captain America: The First Avengers, the hellicarrier incident showed Captain America to be pretty fast and agile. That agility might give him the age, besides i assume Cap has his shield, which he can use for offensive capabilities, and he looked pretty bad a$$ in the movie.

If its Thor with his hammer, then there is little if anything to debate about.

Capt against all versions of Thor should lose but Thor will be surprised by how hard it is to take him down due to arrogrance that only villains seem to have and Capt being able to hold his own against god like beings as iconic and some non-iconic "street level"(hate that term) characters have the skill to due

SN-reason why I love DC animation, they show how these peak humans are far more skilled then their god-like powerhouses and are able to take them on(Canary training the Team/anything with the BatFamily/the great WW vs Canary/Huntress/Vixen/hawkgirl episode that had other fights and much much more)

these "street level"(swear that would be the N-word to them) are not to be taken so lightly David took down Goliath/Odysseus and the Cyclopes/Sun-Tzu Art of War

reason why Thor wins is the obvious powers but his skill level as a Warrior is like Donna's, without the power a hero in their universes

Without powers and hammer he fought and defeated multiple S.H.I.E.L.D. agants - Coulson even said: You made my men, some of the most highly trained professionals in the world, look like a bunch of minimum wage mall cops. Without hammer he hold his own against Hulk, strongest being in Marvel movie universe. So with even without Mjolnir but with powers he would squash any version of Cap like a bug.

Thor without his hammer, as a normal human, vs Captain America would be a stomp, the comic counterpart has way too many feats.

With the hammer though, despite limited feats he fought and did well against Hulk, can fly and call down lightning to rip through giant bugs, can one shots Destroyer Armor that was incenerating everything right left and center (i have no idea where the guys got that from, 60s years of comic history shows Thor always been significantly inferior than the armor, and in the movie he handles the armor with ease?/ WTF ).

So Thor is likely stronger, as in much stronger, flight gives him obvious advantage, lighting the same and given he could easily destroyer armor i think its safe to say he could outright kill captain america with but a hit.

Cap could've taken those soldiers at equal ease. The fight with hulk is meaningless to me, only due to the fact that nobody seemed to have advantages in fight, like when Ironman, Thor, and Cap were outside at night(where Thor had the Hammer). I am quite sure they didn't want to anger fanboys of each character, so they made them all "even" against eachother.

@Killemall: I wrote above about that hulk fight, which I won't agree with.

Cap's sheild has tanked Thor's lightning in the mvie if my memory serves right. so I am sure Comic version can handle that.

However, the flight thing is the biggest concern here.

I didn't say that Cap couldn't defeat those agents, I just wanted to say that Thor ( even withouth his powers and weapon ) is a highly skilled fighter. So if he have his powers then he would just squish Cap like a bug. Fight with Hulk is no meaningless because it shows how strong and skilled Thor is, it show that he could hold his own against strongest being in Marvel movie universe. Cap can't do it, not withouth serious amount of PIS. Hell, movie Cap who is stronger, faster and tougher than comic book Cap couldn't defete Loki who was easly smashed by the Hulk. Also Thor took hits form supercharged Iron man, this is how strong regular, movie Iron man is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziomp-cP7G4

You honestly think that Cap could deal more damage than guy who can burst through thick, concrete walls like there were made from paper? Also Thor crushed part of Iron man's armour with his bare hands, and this armour was strong enough to withstand direct hit from a tank. You honestly think that Cap's body is more resilient than IM armour? One hit from Thor and Cap is dead. And scene in The Avengers when Thor and Cap "fought" each other - Thor hit Cap's shiled once and then he stoped, it was hardly a fight.

Well regardless of that [ your interpration] , he tanked hits from hulk who was tearing apart a hellicarrier [although i do agree they intentionally didnt want anyone to outright lose], he even crushed Iron Man's armor tanked everything he could throw at him and i do not think even comic version of Cap can hit any harder, he tanked a blast from Destroyer Armor that gotta count to something, he survived being thrown down from the hellicarrier by Loki, even smashed the pod made to contain hulk which is a pretty good strength/ durability feat i would assume

Cap's sheild has tanked Thor's lightning in the mvie if my memory serves right. so I am sure Comic version can handle that.

Cap did tanked a hit from Thor, which comic version can too, and has , twice that i know of by blocking it via his shield he cant tank in on his face or body. Also its going to be extremely hard for Cap to acutally put Thor down, the same cant be said for Thor.

Thor not having his Asgardian powers does not equal Thor not having his hammer; if he doesn't have his powers Cap can take him, but with his powers, hammer or no, he slaughters cap with one hand.

If its with the hammer cap would make thor throw it so he caches in the air (cap has proved he can lift it) and then just hit thor with it until thor is KO. Without the hammer thor is too strong and resistant and cap couldent be able to damage him.

If its movie Thor "with powers", but not a curbstomp, but if its movie Thor "sans powers" = Cap America. Cap did quite well actually in the Avengers, he is an under-rated character, being much stronger than a normal human, able to take a fair bit of punishment and a very skilled fighter. reminds me of Gerard Butler from the film 300. Its amazing what a skilled warrior with a shield can achieve, particularly one that was seen in the Avengers to be equal in durability to mjolnir!

dood cap is easy to take down. i heard thor once beat cap when thor had no powers like in his movie beat cap. thor would easily grab captain americas shield and bash him to the floor ad reck cap. cap would only heart thor a tiny bit with his shield. one bash of thor hammer will slice threw caps bodie. caps shield wont do any protection when thor puts his hammer on it. cap will suffocate in his shield and get squished. that would be so funny. captain america loses against all fights. he's useless at it so is he useless at helping the avengers. i'd be surprised if you could find one character that cap would win against.

Probably? More like most definitely.

I believe Thor without his hammer could take this with his strength alone. He was able to hold off an assault from the Hulk without his hammer while fighting him in the helicarrier, and also headbutted Iron man so hard we was sent flying. And to top it off, he actually crushed his wrists like they were nothing, and everyone knows Iron Man's armor can withstand even missiles. Now, I know Thor couldn't do anything to Cap's shield, but if Thor gets his hands on Cap, then it's game over.

I doubt cap makes it difficult. Thor was getting wailed on by the Hulk and kept getting up for more. In fact, he didn't really look like he was taking significant damage at all.
