I made a thread like this not too long ago. Cap VS Dom Hobbs and Shaw. Yeah, Cap still won.

Cap takes it. Hobbs is outclassed in every way.

I haven't really watched the Fast and Furious films but I'm curious as to what makes you think he might be more skilled?

I think he was taking on multiple riot guards at once while unarmed. And is on the same level as Dom and Shaw in skill.

This the scene your talking about?

Cause I don't see anything from that comparable to Steve's fodder feat in the elevator from TWS, let alone his tie in comic feats.

Have they done anything on or above Steve's level? Shaw seemed decently skilled in the video above but again nothing comparable to Steve's level.

Oh I missed that. Still technically Steve has better skill feats than anything I've seen so far for Hobbs. He showed decent boxing in some of his fodder scenes and managed to match or exceed Loki in skill who's a efficient fodder wrecker and can match Thor who's also a good fodder wrecker. Steve also has a tie in comic feat of engaging 10 Hydra soldiers simultaneously.

I’m not sure phase one feats is enough. Hobbs redirected a tornpedo. He is pretty insane.

Phase 1 Cap? Then Cap probably loses. He had nothing much in Phase 1.

He literally pulled the attack helicopter so that the car won't fall off the cliff, lol. And I suspect the winter soldier wannabe character (Idris Elba) is gonna be stronger than the MCU super soldiers.

Apparently, the dude is Civil War Steve level in strength. Interesting match-up.

Yeah, knew this was coming. Hobbs took Cap's helicopter feat to a new level. Jesus.

Hobbs and Shaw are fighting the Black Superman Val Zod

Now Hobbs and Shaw are High Tier, on the same tier of Toretto (fighting for family) and Asian guy from M:I 6 HAHAHAHHA.

I thought this was Captain America vs the Superstrong enhanced guy (Idris Elba) who was in the trailers for the Hobbs spinoff

But lets wait untill the movie, Maybe Hobbs gets some Superhuman strength feats fighting him.

Aside from the Helicopter instance. Here are the rest of his decent peak human level feats that I picked from both trailers:

1) His second best strength feat (from the trailers):

3) I don't know what to think of this feat, tbh. It looks super impressive:

4) Survives a punch from Elba's super soldier character:

The latter can do this with his punches which makes the previous feat quite impressive:

He's prolly gonna get better feats in the movie.

Steve still has him beat in striking strength, durability and skill.

Fucking hilarious that Hobbs The Rock can now kick Cap's ass, because he's also gonna take on DCEU Superman as DCEU Black Adam, which means he also gonna kick every Avenger's ass and stick them up Thanos' ass as well.

Cap with difficulty

They have similar showings of durability and strength, but Cap is simply superior. He has taken several hits Winter Soldier's metal arm (not just that series of punches at the end, but many hits leading up to that moment) with one punch being able to break concrete, hits from Iron Man, hits from Spider Man, a hit from Thanos, tank lasers from Ultron, take repulsors from Iron Man, fall hundreds of feet out of an airplane into water etc. He's just all around more impressive in the durability department.

In the strength department, he was able to lift that large beam off of Bucky, throw Ultron through a concrete pillar, pull down a helicopter for a long time, destroy Iron Man's helmet, throw a large motorcycle, kick a moderate sized truck a distance while putting a large dent in it at the same time, and a lot more.

Cap completely outclasses Hobbs in skill and agility, no question there. Cap would take this fight for sure.

If that scene has zero extra context to it, then Dom>Cap in strength, but I'll wait for the movie.

There probably isn't. The scene cuts right after the contact, even in trailer, IIRC. So its possible Dom gets ragdolled on contact.

If not, then yeah, Dom>Cap in lifting.
