Gazelle was really good in the movie but not "Avengers" good. Any of the team should be able to take her.

Cap is still a monster shield-less and was able to fight Winter Soldier in close-quarters pretty well. He has the strength to drop any Kingsman in multiple hits and his reaction time is more impressive.

the only damage she even took in the movie was a scratch

Aim-dodging isn't really that impressive considering Cap has done that, if not better. I honestly doubt Gazelle would be able to defeat Winter Soldier. One strong swing from Steve would be able to down Gazelle. Just look at the physical power he puts behind his shield throws.

@yourneighborhoodcomicgeek: it really doesn't matter if Eggsy out skilled Gazelle. That doesn't mean Cap could. Eggsy is superior to cap in some ways, speed (he delfected a bullet of his gun. That's much harder to do then a shield) and gear mostly.

I don't know if he did do it better, most of his aim dodging involves his shield or running away from the shooter, she was able to dodge all shots fired at her, while running at the person shooting, which(to me) is much more impressive than doing it while running away

Gazelle is faster, at least similarly skilled, more agile, and has a much better weapon.

Cap stomps with his shield with barely any effort and wins the shield-less round mid difficulty.

I think Cap wins easily for Round 2. Round 1 he gets cut up a little bit but wins.

Cap both rounds, unless the above checks out, in which case it's much closer.

No. Look at his fight with Batroc, that alone is enough to say Gazelle has what it takes to kill Cap.

We have no baseline for how good Batroc actually was outside of his fight with Cap, so he can't be used as evidence for Gazelle being able to take the win.

I mean cap has gotten a lot better since that fight so I don't think you can judge it based on that.

His best skill showings are in TWS, so I don't get what's better about him right now.

Not that I agree with that logic on Batroc, just saying.

I think he is referring to Batroc's similar but far less efficient fighting style - than Gazelle's.
