Dwarfs have full body armor with long spears, sword, hammers, Chariots, "bow catchers", and a brigade of rams....

Lets be honest guys, since OP is pitifully sparse, its unfair to give the Dwarves all the medieval military equipment advantage as well as sheer numbers. So lets assume an entire army of foot soldiers, armed with battle axes and some medieval armor.

First of all, any armor means shit against Cap whose shield will still slice through them like butter. And Cap has already taken on an army before in the Avengers, and those guys were a million times better than Dwarves.

Since we are not allowing bows, the dwarves would need to come in close, and we have all seen how brutal Cap can be in close quarters.

Only way Cap can lose is if they have surrounded him from the start, or it is in an open field. In virtually every other environment, the dwarves fall like flies.

MCU Cap is not an army buster, especially when the soldiers in the army all have advanced stats and weapons that can without a doubt hurt and kill him. Cap gets slaughtered (again).

So medieval soldiers with at best iron shields and axes have better stats and weapons than a highly trained meta human, with an indestructible shield who regularly takes down trained and armed terrorists, alien robots, mercenaries, SWAT officers like nothing.

Yeah, clearly.

@shirso: No they don't have better stats than Cap (*sigh*). They have better stats than regular humans, the likes of which Cap is used to fodderizing. And they have weapons that can hurt Cap. The advanced adjective wasn't meant to apply to the weapons. Still, Cap is decently vulnerable to piercing weapons, therefore swords and spears would be effective weapons to use against him.

And also yes, Cap would take down a crap ton of these dwarves before falling himself, but there is absolutely no way he could defeat an entire army of them all at once.

Ok, lets put it this way. Can the guys Cap is generally used to fodderising take this?

Chitauri: Even 1 can solo

Ultron Bots: Same as Chitauri

Trained and armed personnel: About a dozen trained mercenaries, equipped with Assault rifles and combat knives easily take this.

So, I really don't see if Cap is so comfortable fodderising these guys what trouble he possibly can have with the dwarves.

Eh, maybe, but solely because it can fly (and has ranged weapons too). Doesn't mean Cap could do it, because the bot can fly which is a ridiculous advantage over the dwarves. Take away its flight and it can't win either.

Nah man, 12 mercs wouldn't be able to defeat an army of hundreds of dwarves armed with shields and full body armor.

I will CaV you or anybody else who honestly thinks that Cap wins this. I'll use either the dwarf army or the 300 Spartans from the other equally absurd thread.

LOL, and dwarfes have extremely high damage soak against blunt force weapons (i.e a shield) HEADBUTT!

Also it's not like they were piss poor craftsman dwarfs were the best smiths in middleearth capable of making things like mithril

Why can't one Chitauri or one Ultron Bot solo the dwarves? None of the Dwarve's weapons can even penetrate modern alloys, let alone the advanced materials their bodies are made of, so the dwarves have nothing really to put either a Chitauri or a Ultron bot down.

One of you said arrows would pierce Ultron bots since Hawkeye's ones did the same. You really think dwarves' arrows are the same as Hawkeye's which are probably the best modern technology has to offer, and belonging to a character whose entire arsenal consists of trick arrows.

The armed personnel ones I grudgingly agree, but it depends all on the number of dwarves. A few hundred is not outside the realm of possibility for modern firearms.

I never said dwarves were poor craftsmen but we only judge them in their world. There's no reason to believe dwarve's armor can tank a rifle bullet for instance.
