Captain America (MCU) vs Cyrus Gold (Arrow)

This is MCU Captain America vs Cyrus Gold from CW Arrow. Both are unarmed and this is strictly a H2H combat fight. Takes place in an abandoned warehouse and they start 10 yards apart. No prior knowledge on the other. Win via death or incapacitation. Who wins and why?

Cap can take it. I'd be more confident if he had his shield, but... he can take it.

IIRC Cyrus gold was pretty tough. He was bulletproof, able to rip apart steel doors and fast enough to dodge arrows.

It seems like he'd have the edge against an unarmed MCU steve.

Captain America but it'll probably be pretty darn close

Cap should win via skills imo.

Even if he had some strong showings, brother cyrus is a brawler and that's a disadvantage.

No shield? Leaning towards Gold. Cap would take it if he had his shield though.

Steve should win due to enhanced speed. He kept up with a car using travel speed so Steve can just jump up and spam Cyrus with kicks

Oliver very nearly ran down a speeding motorcycle, much faster than a WWII automobile, and Mirakuru users are a lot faster than him. A Mirakuru user can run down a speeding van down a straight road without needing to cut corners like Cap and Ollie... while pushing another car in front of him and then smashing it into the van hard enough to overturn it. Grundy can also basically blitz police and security guards and is nearly faster than the eye can see.

Cap has both better strength feats, durability feats except piercing, reflexes, skill everything going for him I can't see gold taking 1 round

Gold was borderline unskilled.... all he has on Steve is durability, and it's not nearly enough to prevent this from being a stomp.

Cyrus is stronger and more durable but the skill gap is too wide for that to really matter.

People were already confused as hell when I backed Diggle and Nick backed Frank in a thread, since roles were reversed. Imagine people's reaction to me repping Cyrus Gold against Cap.

Diggle would wreck Frank so hard btw.

Captain America - Much more skilled and the physicals gap isn't much.

Steve- Their physicals aren't as apart as the speed and skill gap that Cap has on Cyrus in spades
