Think this has been done and Cap stomps, especially with the shield.

I think polar bears have weak skulls. Cap should win with a simple shield bash to the head.

With shield Cap stomps, without could go either way.

Unless the polar bear is going to star in academy award winning movie the Revenant 2, Cap should win.

Cap will win with his shield, and this is the only reason he will win. Take shield away and he is in serious trouble, not because of bear's strength, because of its claws. He can block them with shield, but without shield, 1 decent swing and he is seriously injured / dead.

Polar Bear would likely beat 616 cap, but mcu cap is far more enhanced physically MCU caps shield cuts into steel pretty easily, ie Ship walls, Quin Jet plating, with shield the bear goes down to MCU cap, but peak human 616 cap would likely lose with or without the shield.

With his shield he takes this with ease.

Without it he would still win but not without getting seriously messed up.

agreed people seriously underestimate polar bears. But MCU cap is no joke either. Dude lifts things which weights like a ton. He's not that far off PB's strength. I think he can take this one without much trouble if he has shield, otherwise PB wins.

Well, Cap did beat a fighterjet in one-on-one combat so I think he should win.

Why did you put such small polar bear? You know the average polar bear is 1700 lbs right?

Technically the polar bear has evey advantage, beacuse its bigger, stronger and more ruthless. Its also a natural predator.

@khael: Don't really have something but I saw a video of a SUV car driving over a grizzly & the grizzly gets up later like fine and starts ripping the tires off.

Also note this grizzly is pretty small compared to the bigger ones you can see at zoo's. So its most likely not a fully grown:)

as imposing as bears are, movie cap is probably stronger, much more agile, faster, etc. and the shield is capable of cutting feats

movie cap seems to be well beyond the 800 pound press of a marvel peak human or whatever that criteria is

Without the shield I don't think the beat can tag Captain very easily but if it does then Captain is done for. Otherwise he can bring it down by repeatedly hitting it and avoiding the Bear.
