After defender I think Matt have low superhuman durability with his armors, a full strength shield toss that got through Ultron will still kill him, but a normal one won't put him down.
@normanbates: I don't think so. That Shield toss will take out any of of them but Luke. Cap has crazy hand to hand fears and Bucky is there too.
Yeah. Cap is more than capable of hurting Luke with his fist let alone with the shield. Don't forget that Red Skull was able to warp steel with his hits Cap is as powerful if not more so than him. Ultron wasn't hurt by Vulcan cannon fire. Cap with his shield is able to penetrate it. Ultron even pre adamantium was still a decent amount more durable than Luke. Bucky's bionic hits a lot harder than Cap. Imagine if Cap gave his shield to Bucky. He would wreck. Both of them are as good and as fast if not faster than Danny in fighting.
@tj849: Steve doesn't need his Shield; his strength alone has allowed him to damage as well as tear apart Ultron Bots. He has also tanked multiple ground-cracking punches to the face and wasn't knocked out.
I think with proper teamwork the defenders can pull it off.
Have Luke as the tank on the frontlines, Matt can distract them and with his new feats he can take some blows from team and not get ko'ed, Jessica and Danny look for openings and hit them with full strength attack. Jessica is the physically strongest defender going all out, and Ironfist can still knock out team one in a good hit.
@agencyagent34: Plus, there's a chance of the team utilizing their numbers and winning having one such as Jessica Jones, playing a distraction role to one of the Super Soldiers such as Bucky, while another plays offense, specifically Danny, and proceeding to land an unexpected powerful blow from the Iron Fist to the back of his skull, KO'ing or maybe even killing him. The same can be said for Luke and Matt against Cap, except it ends with Matt garroting him with his billy-club/grappling hook.
@agencyagent34: Because Cap can take out 9 ninjas, surrounding him with weapons in the dark, in a few seconds? Oh yeah, and solo a group of super powered individuals? Maybe his strength, and physical feats surpass her, but skill? I don't think so.
@agencyagent34: dude, she deflected a bullet off her sword and 1 shot Luke and Jessica, as well as took chi punches. And they were able to get the advantage when they all fought in the finale
Not sure. Defenders were legit. Even gives me pause backing Russo force Cap, and that's no small task. + You took away the shield. With the shield I'd say Cap solos. As the scenario is, I don't know who wins.
@normanbates: she wasn't that impressive though. We didn't even see how she killed them and they were feat less. The defenders were terribly inconsistent. I'm not saying Cap wind by a landslide but he doesn't get stomped by any means.
@webinyoureye11: Wow, your opinion really changed after Defenders. Before you were sure that Bucky curbs Danny effortlessly, and Cap beats Luke. Just wondering, what feats made you change your mind?
@bladeoffury: they fought elektra who was a legit bullet timer, and nigh speedster. All of the defenders were able to somewhat fight her, with Danny taking her on, sword v fist while Colleen was stunned saying she's never seen someone move that fast
And Luke was fine after getting a shockwave inducing chi punch that put all the defenders on their ass, so everyone was solidly better than their individual show performances
@agencyagent34: But they were part of Hand, individuals who are skilled overall, not knowing how she took them out or not doesn't matter because the feat itself is still impressive.
Without shield the defenders win in a great fight. With shield, I give it a 50/50 draw down the middle. Daredevil really stepped ot up amd proved he's Ironfist's equal if NO CHI is involved. And like already mentioned, DD damage soak with the suit is awesome. I wish he'd get more feats with his billy clubs though. The show was great and raised everyone's feats tremendously. Jessica alone through a car through a building (albeit off screen).
