Thats because he got "hurt" by the heat of 10 billion stars. Still doesn't even remotely mean he is star level.

It also didn't kill him. You don't have to completely negate something in order to be above it. Thats also durability, but your asking about DC, which don't correlate at all.

Darkside’s true form is at least universe level, destroying a star is nothing to him.

@harrisonmesko: yes, Overvoid created Dax Novu who split his consciousness into Mandrakk the Dark Monitor and the Thought Robot, the concept of story. The other monitors were created within the "Flaw", the omniverse where comic book stories take place. Perpetua, one of the "Hands" that created the Multiverse, created the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor, I guess thats how their race came to be

The reason CAS was regarded as below star level fodder is because of the meme "heat of ten billion suns" and downscaling him from the anti-monitor that was ovepowered by solar system attack and near full power perpetua could only destroy one universe at a time making other monitors surprise
