The beam is pretty unquantifiable tbh, Thor gets up with too much difficulty.

Not without Mjolnir pulling him out, and it won't be easy

theoretically it could be quantified by the water displacement.

Mjolnir is nearby in this setting, do you think he could summon it and get out?

Probably? But he'd be stuck in there until Mjolnir comes to him

@geekryan: Why would he? He cannot fly without it perheps but he can easily just walk away from that beam

At an absolute low-end, the World Engine was large mountain level. Other calculations have placed it anywhere between large island level and planetary level.

With Mjolnir, Thor could fly out of it and destroy it, sure. But without Mjolnir, he isn't walking away from it lol.

@eredin12: tbh if mcu used shockwaves for vfx in their fights a bit more often, then i’d actually be perfection and would match with Thor’s strength, it would make their characters look more powerful too IMO

@eredin12: in comics u can still see the damage and shockwaves of their punches and how characters can go proper flying by one punch.

In mcu sometimes thanos can proper punch someone and they don’t go that far at all

For the millionth time, its not a durability feat. Thor can easily survive the gravity beam.

As for busting through the World Engine, Thor doesn't have flight, so as far as he manages to summon the Mjolnir, he should be fine. One he has Mjolnir, he shouldn't have any problem busting through the World Engine itself.

@thevamphunter: everyone has anti feats.

Superman got knocked back and hurt by WW head butt and was getting moved by her and her lasso for a few secs. Ik he was doing with one hand but isn’t WW best lifting feat like a tank or some fodder shit? Wasnt she also pierced by bullets?

Kryptonian gravity isn't that big of a deal for a small being like Superman or Thor. The reason it was visually destructive is because the gravity of the planet was being changed.

It's been confirmed as a gravity beam multiple times, let this "feat" die

People need to realise the World Engine’s gravity beam is just that: a gravity beam. If buildings got multiple times heavier, they’d collapse. We can see the speed at which cars are slammed into the ground (and they also go up, which indicates it’s fluctuating between ‘high’ and ‘low’ gravity), and it’s not going to get you any ludicrous results.

The fact that Clark struggled so much is just because the atmosphere weakens him.
