Can MCU Thanos conquer DCEU Earth where Steppenwolf failed?

@death4bunnies similar to your post about Hela, thought I'd make one with Thanos.

Going by hype, very unlikely. The Olympian Gods should be more than enough to defeat him.

By feats Thanos takes it comfortably, by hype Zeus etc should be better but JL is full of reshoots and retconned and character changes like Uxas to Wolf in that scene that it's just a mess.

If he uses Sanctuary II's missles, Thanos wins. If he fights on ground, either Zeus or Ares should beat him.

The only one here with the feats to even scratch him is Zeus, but its not like he has any combat feats so he and his army gets shishkebabed. Lol at gods more featless than Odin soloing Thanos

And it got out unscathed which is a better feat than anything in Wolfs forces showed lol.

Funny how these nearly impotent DCEU characters suddenly kick arse when faced to the MCU, while in their own reality the whole bunch of them merely placated Steppenwolf, which Superman defeated with ease and disdain.

@kryptonianking88: Thanos doesn't have the benefit of scaling to much more powerful characters, while Steppenwolf is in the same tier as Zeus so dropping an island on him would be ineffective. Godly TK also doesn't work on fellow gods because they can break out of it.

Based on Ares nuke-like lighting, the gods in general could have just slaughtered all the regular armies on the opposing sides in an instant since they're pointless. They didn't use the big flashy powers because plot wanted a big cool war scene, which is the same reason people like Hawkeye/BW/Cap are somehow relevant in Avenger battles, and why Thor doesn't use tornadoes.

@mrtrey: Steppenwolf doesn't really scale to Zues. His best feat was tanking his lightning, but that's solely for his energy durability, as he was much weaker than Superman and was given trouble by Wonder Woman + Aquaman.

Ares TK is comparable to Maw, and while he may beat Maw in a strait up battle, hes not winning when Maw is supported by 500 pretty diverse troops.

Is lifting the mass of land beneath Wonderwoman Ares best TK feat?? (I honestly don't know)

If it is id say Ares and Maw are dam near equatable in raw TK power.

Here Ares lifts said landmass, You can see WW kinda floating above it to the right.

Here is Maw grabbing Black Panther with a huge mass of land, and also holding him self up with a small mass of land; you can see BP and Maw for scale.

Artemis actually comes in real handy here, but Cull + Prox + Corvis + 1000 Troops takes her down low dif.

Thanos's fodder is vastly superior here(Outriders, Chitari, and Sakkarans), especially with all the air support, necro crafts, leviathans and such.

@death4bunnies: I think Maw's TK should be much stronger than Ares' due to restraining Thor (Maw would still lose to Ares tho due to lighting but that's another thing).

I agree, but in these conditions Maw's TK would be a huge help in a support role.
