He can react to regular Diana. He reacted to a grenade launcher that fires rounds faster than arrows. He isnt fighting on equal speed though. He is still getting overwhelmed, for he will block a few hits, but combos with her speed is too much for Cap to keep up with. God mode Diana is even faster, so he might not be able to even react to that.
The DCEU Wonder Woman is actually frustratingly slow, normally Wonder Woman can parry rapid gunfire with her bracelets, in fact that's her signature thing, she's done it since 1941 but in the DCEU it looks as though that's never gonna happen, much to my astonishment and chagrin
Cap scales to bullet timers so possibly. Winter Soldier, Falcon and Hawkeye all have bullet timing feats. Cap can't beat WW but he could probably react to her.
I've analysed Cap a lot. I think initially he'll be able to block some attacks if Diana isn't very serious about taking him out. I mean yeah he's outclassed in everything. But he could still last for some minutes.
Fact is, If Diana wants him dead, he's dead. As simple as that. But Cap is not a normal human who won't last even one minute. I'm sure if Diana isn't very serious, he could last a few minutes like that German Fake Ares from WW.
@americanspeeddemon: They make it a terrible big deal when people like Panther legit arrow time. All of those instances are not made a big deal at all despite being absurdly better than arrow timing.
Furthermore, QS percieves bullets in slow mo, but Steve was utterly and completely frozen in his eyes. If Steve could actually time bullets so casually as to litteraly deflect them, he should at least be moving a little bit on his eyes.
Im bring generous when I'm saying it's debatable. All these instances are almost 100% aim dodging and blocking.
I don't know how people think a character has good reaction speed but not movement speed lol it takes movement to actually dodge or deflect a bullet for example.
@anthp2000: The first two are definitely bullet timing. Someone fires a bullet and then the characters react. Bucky's second one is almost definitely bullet timing though it's a bit more debatable. The first Bucky one is really debatable.
Speedster scenes are weird while I think the MCU does a decent job of being consistent it falls apart a bit under close scrutiny. For instance the repulsor beam is definitely moving faster than bullets do in QS perception yet those beams are timed by like everyone at some point.
@americanspeeddemon: Or they simply can't show them moving like that on their positions. All I'm saying is that if they were to actually show bullet timing, they would make it a really big deal. When guys like Loki and Panther did it, it is obvious it was a testament to their speed and senses.
Why would the repulsor beams move faster than bullets, definitely? I consider those unquantifiable.
MCU definitely cares about battles and power levels so making immature mistakes concerning fight scenes is out of the picture for me.
