Well shisui and/or itschi stated that visual genjustu works by “injecting“ your own chakra into your victim. So even if energies aren’t equalized I don’t see why IT wouldn’t work. The only way it won’t work is by blocking out the chakra entirely. And assuming asta does null his chakra it means Madara just has to deal with asta.

So this literally becomes 8 Madara’s vs asta lol.

Chakra is the physical and spiritual energy present in every living being, ergo if you are alive, you have chakra, heck even the Magic in BC basically works the same as chakra. Are there feats of them using genjutsu on someone who doesn't have chakra? The user injects their chakra into their victim to control their victims chakra, which none of the verse has. Do you have a scan for this? here is Jiraiya explaining to Naruto that they control the Chakra in their opponents,

This is assuming energy is equalised. If energy were equalised Asta is not affected, and can release the others from this effect as he did against Damnatio's debuff. Yami's mana zone erases mana in the area and so Genjutsu doesn't work on him either.

My point being that he has to fight at least 5 characters who can one shot him and another with BFR to another dimension. "He has clones", so does the BC team, Gauche can create up to 11 equally as strong clones of his target making it a what... 22 vs 8?

Yami mana zone isn’t passive. He has to activate it. He’s already getting IT’d way before any of that. Asta gets jumped by 8 juudara clones.

Is IT passive? If not then Yami sets up his zone. Asta can release the rest of his teammates so he isn't being jumped.

Let's assume I.T doesn't work for the sake of the fight. 99% of the characters instant lose to the TSBs. The remaining 1% lose to limbo clones.

Not how mana zone works. It erases mana in the vicinity so while in the zone Yami would not be under the influence of IT.

And like I said, asta isn’t even getting the chance to release them. As hes gonna instantly get attacked by from multiple clones from different angles.

Asta isn't affected by IT (due to 1. Not having chakra/mana and 2. having anti magic running through his body). His first move would then be to release his comrades, Madara is not attacking Asta before he is able to do his first move...
