Burning Godzilla was very impressive. He is however radiation based, and it was only for a short duration. Doomsday might be able to eventually overcome him. Probably not though.

Karathen definitely, Atlantean nukes did nothing to it (and nukes are worse underwater because you can't really compress it easily), and the sheer durability and force necessary to survive and move to the surface in a short time from the earth's core and visibly moving it's 2 mile long body length in a few seconds while overcoming underwater drag force are both utterly ridiculous.

@mrtrey: The cavity bubble from the atlantean nukes were around 100 meters in diameter while the one in Godzilla was ~17 kilometers (from the novel/script i think). At the one in Godzilla was in a much deeper point. The one GZ took is literally millions if times stronger than the one Karathen took.

Nor was the depth (and thus the pressure) as deep as as the ones Karathen took considering a military sub was able to reach where Godzilla was (they can only go a few hundred meters), and the Atlantean battle was on the sea floor with lava that wasn't forming bubbles, so it must be thousands of meters below sea level. The Karathen's upper body must is around a 1/3 of its length, so this nuke that's covering most of it if not more must be hundreds of meters to a around kilometer long.

Also a nice feat for Arthur, shockwaves are far more powerful underwater so he tanked a pretty good hit there.

@mrtrey: 1- It was in an underwater city. Serizawa detonated it in a (relatively small) air pocket inside the city. We could see the bubble expand waay beyond that.

2- It was near hollow earth and much deeper than the ocean floor. The bubble being 17 km is proof enough for it being deeper than any ocean floor.

3- It was a monarch submarine that survived being thrown to the surface by a nuke's shockwave. Monarch has pretty advanced tech like near city sized facilities that were somehow kept secret and scifi guns and shields and Argo etc. Pretty sure an irl sub reached 10 km depth, monarch ones can do better.

4- Karathen has a one reeally long tail, you can see that in the dvd(?) or blu ray bonus commentary. Its body height is between 140-200 meters from what u could find. No official number for height tho. So its more like 100 meters.

Supplementary material is largely meaningless, its claws alone must be hundred of meters as they utterly dwarf Atlantean blue jets, which are around the size of whales.

@mrtrey: 1- Pretty sure it can be scaled to multiple kilometers inside the water. Its better to wait for hd screenshots to scale tho. And how is it pointless? You can find the yield for an underwater explosion by the bubble size and depth.

2- It was in the middle of the ocean... it can't be higher than the ocean floor it can only be deeper.

3- Like i said its a monarch sub with scifi tech not a regular military sub. Even the script based novel says that. And it was intact after being throw to the surface of the ocean from at least the ocean floor. Pretty sure its multiple orders of magnitute tougher than a normal sub.

4- Its not meaningless. They are literally the people with the 3D CGI model of the creature. They literally make it pixel by puxel how can they be wrong? We could see whales being around 1/10-15 th of the height of Karathen. Edit: nevermind from the model she looks to be around 500-600 meters tall. Still the bubble is incomparably smaller than the serizawa nuke.

There's blatant proof I gave you that her claws alone are 100's of meters long, so either that model isnt accurate or she's much longer than she was said to be.

Batman might have 300 db cannons, nothing wrong with that unless they gave the duration of the 300 db at a real high number. Like petawatt pulse lasers 300 db doesn't mean its outputting ridiculous energy if its in the form of pulses. Yes surtur is indeed 800 meters when he first appeared. I actually scaled him before the official number was given and found 828 meters which is pretty close. He was made smaller in the Hulk scene tho.
