Cal Kestis & The Second Sister vs. Rey & Kylo

Team 1 win mid-high diff. They're being lowballed. Rey and Kylo are stronger in the force, but are fodder in dueling. And the force gap isn't even by that much, and if we scale the second sister to other inquisitors then the force gap is almost non existent.

@grinningf0x: For dueling rey and kylo have basically no feats, and rey has had almost no training in dueling and Kylo struggled with her in ROS. While Cal could defeat inquisitors and was trained by the jedi for a majority of his life. In force strength their best feat is stopping a small cruiser, that 2 inquisitors in rebels could stop(and 1 could hold for a few seconds). And if you don't want to use that scaling, Cal could pull a huge power core. Force lightning isn't a problem as it can be blocked by a lightsaber and would leave Rey open for attack.

@mattyboi: We also don't know whether or not Rey can summon lightning at will. She did so once by accident.

Acording to the ROS visual dictionary the KOR are comparable with the inquisitors. Even if Cal and Trilla are above your average inquisitor (they most likely are) they can't stomp them like Kylo stomped the KOR.

Cal Kestis was a pretty fresh padawan during Order 66 no older than 12-13 so him having more training is pretty doubtful given that Ben trained under Luke from the age of 10 to about 25 And then under Snoke for a some time.

Cal doesn't need more training then Ben. Ben was already beat by a no training Rey. And struggled with a Rey that had no on screen lightsaber training in ROS.

legit no SW protagonist has on screen lightsaber training aside from Luke learning the basics while blocking a blaster droid. In TLJ Rey absorbs ALL of his training per the novelization and then gets a year of training and she still LOSES.

Blowing up the Cave is a better Force feat than anything Cal has done

That cave is like small hut sized, and we only see a few small rocks actually being moved. Cal moving the power core is better.

By in universe logic, either Rey or Kylo give them the Vader treatment.

By feats either of them stomps too.

He only lost to her in TFA after

- Killing his Father (confirmed to weaken him)

- taking a bowcaster shot to the gut

- holding back to try and convince her to his side

- being injured by Finn after messing around with him

And she only beat him in TROS because Leia distracted him, before that he was handily beating her.

Rey yeets Kylo’ s training during TLJ , she legit downloads his entire decade+ of training in one second like Neo learning Kung Fu in The Matrix. Then she gets to train under Leia( a fully trained Knight) for a year

She fought like a noob the entire fight in TFA and still won. In TLJ it's the same. I'm pretty sure leia only trained Rey in the force. And leia herself quit lightsaber training before she completed it so she couldn't have taught rey much.

@kgb725: What are those 3 things? Haven't watched TFA in a while but IIRC the only thing that weakened him was the shot from Chewie.

And in TLJ Rey performs better against the guards and saves Kylo in the fight and is overall implied to be stronger than Kylo.(she gets up first from the force clash too).

@mattyboi: uhh Ben takes out 5/8 praetorian guards, 4 of which he fights simultaneously and beats without a scratch only the last one being able to get him in a chokehold due to one of the guards scarfing themselves and his saber getting stuck in him, arguably if really pushed by the chokehold he would’ve broken out through force usage. You are correct that she gets up from the force clash first (obviously for plot reasons), but if anything this is counter balanced by him getting up from Sidious first after they both got their life force drained. The 3 handicaps in TFA are the blaster, not trying to kill her but instead turn her, and the most important one being imbalanced for killing his father as stated by snoke in TLJ as the obvious reason for his loss.

you guys forget that Vader trains inquisitors and Cal was trained by a master. If they fought with the force then Kylo and Rey win, saying that Reylo beats cal and Second is saying that they stand a chance against vader

Reylo stomp. Star Wars The Force Awakens: Head-to-head claims that TFA Kylo would beat ESB Luke. In turn, Luke did much better against Vader than Cere, who was disarmed in 3 seconds despite being holistically superior to Cal. Via scaling, RoS Rey ~ Ros Kylo > TFA Kylo > ESB Luke > Cere > Cal > Second Sister.

Alternatively, Rey is relative to Kylo, who's got better potential and training than Cal.

Alternatively, Reylo's environmental feats are beyond what Cal & Second Sister have ever shown. Just to name a few:

• Pre-TFA Ben dominated three fellow Jedi students
• Pre-TFA Kylo killed a Zillo Beast
• TFA Kylo telekinetically halted a blaster bolt
• TFA Kylo knocked Rey unconscious with the Force
• TLJ Rey matched TLJ Kylo's power in their tug-o-war
• TLJ Rey lifted several tons of boulders
• Pre-RoS Kylo ragdolled people across the galaxy
• RoS Kylo shielded himself from the explosion of his starfighter
• RoS Rey took hold of a troop transport with the Force and overpowered its engines
• RoS Ben defeated six force-sensitives at once

Kylo solos, Rey is not a factor.
