Title says all. Can Base Goku without any power ups defeat the all mighty Broly?

Setup:

-Goku is limited to his normal form.

Round 1:

-Super Sayin Broly vs Goku.

Round 2:

-Legendary Super Sayain Broly vs Goku.

VS

Mismatch. Broly gets oneshot

Is this a joke? Goku one shots, effortless curbstomp all rounds.

According to V-Jump, Broly at it's full potential is around 5% stronger than Frieza in Revival of F (Regular last form.)

This based on power levels of course.

If Goku is allowed to use his god ki then he stomps.

V-Jump is 100% wrong if they said that, scaling between different continuities doesn't work. Broly is non-canon and has zero connection to RoF Frieza or anything in the canon continuity

@frocharocha: They are abstolutely wrong if they said that, Broly got killed by a half dead FPSSJ Goku that was being amped by a bunch of guys that weren't even Perfect Cell tier. Goku stomps hard.

Wasn't Broly supposedly increasing in strength indefinitely? Doesn't mean that is what his power was when he was defeated; it's what he could've become. Idk the context or exact phrasing but if that's what they meant then believable (and remarkable). That said i think Goku wins even if that is what they meant and that was true. Goku vs Broly as we saw him in Movie 10 stomps

@darkbiscuit: Actually it wasn't increased his energy indefinitely, but rather replenish it. If you watched the first Broly movie with the original dub and subs it its pretty clear that his body can't manage too much energy, thats why it some occasions he just starts shooting beams like a crazy man. He even said something among the lines of ''My power is overflowing, cant control it''.

Idk tbh. If Goku in last episode was just simply holding back a lot against Trunks then he stomps. But if Goku can turn on and turn off his God power and since this is Goku without any power ups based off of what the op says Broly probably wins.

Anyways I'm pretty sure it was increases indefinitely. This "replenish" thing is entirely new to me and doesn't really stack up. Where in the movie is it stated?

Base Goku took on final form Frieza. Broly gets ungodly stomped. Broly's power doesn't rise indefinitely, that was never stated in any of the three movies he's appeared in. What actually happens is he comments how his power is rising: "My ki is rising... It's overflowing!", and he shoots ki out to relieve the stress its putting on his body. Broly's "power" doesn't infinitely rise, rather his ki rises uncontrollably while in his Legendary Super Saiyan form. People drew dumb conclusions from that and say Broly's power rises indefinitely when that is false and unfortunately that's why this myth exists.

Second, Broly isn't a galaxy buster. That makes no sense, because the galaxy he supposedly "busted" is still there throughout the whole movie, and characters speak about the galaxy as if it were still there. The opening of movie 10 with the galaxy disappearing was a visual metaphor, nothing more. The narrator in the Japanese dub even says "The South Galaxy has fallen under attack by a Super Saiyan", not "The South Galaxy has been shattered by a Super Saiyan" like the english dub said.

Well yes. Broly has more potential than other dbz characters by LORE because of his Hax KI or something. Like i said, according to V Jump Brolly at his full potential has a power level of 1,400,000,000 while Frieza from Revival of F has 1,300,000,000 (After training.)

Aslo there is no way Frieza would be in the mi trillions. Goku's base was confirmed weaker than Frieza. Buu saga Ssj Goku was weaker than ssj2 Teen Gohan.

Using these facts Buu saga characters are still in the low to mid billions.

There is no such thiing as base god ki. Even against freeza, goku was sensed by krillin.

In Legendary SSJ he might survive 2 punches.

And Broly's galaxy busting feat has been debunked already on multiple occasions. He is not a galaxy buster. On top of that he has lost to people that Goku would destroy.

IMO it depends on whether or not you can count it as base if he's using god ki.
