@eredin12: Broly couldn't have obliterated a galaxy because the movie takes place at South Galaxy itself.

We are seen Goku travel to a destroyed planet and find rubbling buildins, what appears to be a large planet on background and some stars.

Nothing of this should exist if Broly had really obliterated the whole Galaxy.

@eredin12: do you have any source that there are more than one South Galaxy?

@eredin12: I don't see a problem with that. Earth in Dragon Ball also have only 5 big capitals, including Satan City.

You could also interpret that the universo have 4 main galaxys and a lot of small ones that are not under the jurisdiction of a Kaioh.

@eredin12: I'm just saying that there is no obligation for the DBZ universe to mimic our own.

Just like DBZ Earth have it's own countries and countinents.

As far as i know, no one except the Kaiohs and general gods make reference to the South/North Galaxies.

Frieza refering the galaxy as the Milk Way doesn't nececessarily imply they are different things.

If Broly had destroyed the whole galaxy, the planet Goku visited - that had just been attacked- would be just a rumble of Space rocks.
