@d1vine_: what feats did broly have in the light novel?? Please tell
Broly (DBS) vs Jiren
Broly.
@grandtoaa: Jiren only got pushed during the last minute of the ToP when he had to fight true UI Goku. Similarly Broly only got pushed for the few minutes that he fought Gogeta.
@jack_hart: Broly was getting his ass kicked in the beginning of the fight by Vegeta, by Goku Blue, and Gogeta and kept increase in strength meanwhile Jiren was exhausted after getting his ass kicked in the last Minute of ToP by UI Goku like you pointed out. That says Broly has more endurance and will outlast Jiren
@grandtoaa: Broly never got pushed by Vegeta and SSB Goku anymore than Jiren did. He only got pushed in the few minutes he fought Gogeta.
Jiren would win this fight.
I say this because of his reputation, strength, and power level.
He is a guy of much more strength than a G.o.D. He is said to be the most powerful fighter in all twelve worlds. Broly is undeniably a Saiyan with unlimited strength, endurance, speed, ad fighting prowess, but I believe Jiren would win the fight due to his immeasurable power level. This fight would have been cool to watch.
If we permit use of the Light Novel, then I'd side with Broly. Frieza after fighting Broly for an hour and sensing his ki concluded that he was absolutely the strongest being in existence who would never be defeated. The validity of this statement aside, it does mean that from Frieza's perspective Broly is more powerful than anyone he has personally witnessed or encountered, which would include Jiren. That's in either the manga or the anime.
While the Light Novel is largely based off of the movie script, and was released alongside the movie, making its details fairly reliable and true to the movie, it's not clear if Toriyama himself accepts it into the DB canon. So any details that the novel adds which aren't evident from the movie are questionable, which includes Frieza's assessment. The closest thing we have to it is Frieza saying "Your battle power is astonishing!"
Without the Light Novel then, I'll side with Jiren. In terms of the anime, Jiren is firmly confirmed as being on, or above, the level of the Gods of Destruction, numerous times, including at times where his true power was being suppressed or before he had powered up fully. It's also essentially a given that Goku, at least by the time he's mastered Ultra Instinct, has surpassed Beerus - Beerus was the goalpost for Goku and Vegeta since the start of Super, and Whis essentially told them that by mastering UI they will have what they need to defeat Beerus. Therefore Goku doesn't even need to have seen or fought Beerus' FP to know he has surpassed him, since Whis already assured him that mastering UI would mean he has.
So with that in mind, Jiren is able to go limit breaker and knock MUI Goku down not once, but twice, and it's only near the end of the fight that Goku powers up enough to defeat Jiren. If suppressed, somewhat powered up, and full power Jiren are already on Beerus' level or above it, and MUI Goku is above Jiren initially, and then Jiren surpasses Goku twice after that, it means we have something like a handful of instances where a Beerus+ level entity has been surpassed consecutively, whether it's Jiren surpassing himself, Goku surpassing Jiren or Jiren surpassing Goku.
In the manga, similarly we're led to believe that mastering UI is the key to surpassing Beerus. Moreover, we are told explicitly that Jiren is above Belmod, and all the Gods of Destruction are shown to be relative to each other in power during their battle royale. So we know Full Power Jiren is already relative to Beerus. What then happens is MUI Goku initially gets the better of Jiren, but Jiren through his "immeasurable potential" catches back up with MUI. From there the fight escalates further and further until they both become too fast to see for Piccolo etc, with Jiren coming out on top very slightly. Again, this is another example where a Beerus+ entity (Full Power Jiren) is surpassed (Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku), and is then further surpassed numerous times (Jiren and MUI breaking their limits even more during the fight).
What does this have to do with Broly? Well, in either the manga or anime, Goku isn't even certain if Broly is above Beerus. He says "probably", which means there's a likelihood without certainty, whereas with Jiren, there's absolute certainty, and then there's several power ups after we already have that certainty. Goku experienced Broly's full power very directly and was still uncertain if he's above Beerus, which implies they are relatively close so as to create that uncertainty, whereas Jiren is far enough above Beerus so that there is 0 doubt about it.
It's important not to confuse any of this with the recent events in the manga. Beerus' power around the time of the Tournament of Power is not relevant to his current power because there's ample evidence that he's gotten stronger since then. Therefore all of the statements about Beerus circa ToP are still valid as they refer to a weaker version of Beerus.
@destroyer_god: Agree with this 100%.
Frieza said that broly might be the most powerfull and he saw jiren going all out
Broly can get stronger while fighting
If I remember right the movie novel state a couple of times that broly is the most powerfull enemy Goku and Vegeta ever fight
Jiren wins. Broly was "maybe" stronger than Beerus. Jiren was on or above the God of Destruction tier even before he surpassed his limits in Episode 130. Out of universe hype statements are overruled by what was actually stated in the DBS:Broly, and Jiren has plenty of hype statements on how hes the strongest ever as well.

That "Maybe stronger than Beerus" has been proven to be false
Whis said he doesn't know a mortal in U7 stronger than Goku and Vegeta. This same Vegeta is fodder to Beerus
Granolah is stated to be the "strongest" but at the same time weaker than Beerus
Broly has nothing to stand on besides promo material. And the funny part about said promo material is that some of them question whether Broly has power surpassing a God of Destruction. Meanwhile Jiren is flat out stated in the actual anime to be on that level before even using his full power let alone his limit breaking power
Can Go Either Way both are confirme GoD Tier and the only ones who ever got comperd to as neither Granolah nor Moro did.
