Jiren Strongest enemy he defatted was UI3 Goku Who is practically Mid to high GoD Tier already as for Broly he Beat Super Gogeta who is also Mid-High GoD And Made Him use SSB and as we know either Gogeta/Vegito never uses his full power unless he must, so the way I see it they are even unless Jiren goes LB which was a 1 time deal if you ask me and not something he can control anyway.

If we’re being perfectly honest Jiren was heavily hinted at or even confirmed multiple times as being above GoD tier, while Broly was only ever vaguely said that he might be above Jiren is still top dog.

@darkhoudini: Once again, no. Jiren is, at best, stated to be stronger than his universes Hakaishin. That doesn't mean he's stronger than all of them. Also, Hakaishin is not a Tier, it's a job-class. It's something someone can become with enough effort. Jiren and Toppo both specifically had to train under one to achieve that same feeling.

There's also no indication of just where Beerus sits on the power scale since the Writing Staff keep elevating him to up the stakes. Some argue Beerus was afraid of Jiren. It appeared more accurately that Beerus was just extremely aggravated that Jiren is much more powerful than Goku, and thus the probability of his universe winning was that much lower. He's not afraid of Jiren, he's afraid of losing and being disgraced. And being erased. That too.

What makes Broly so insanely dangerous is the fact in his first Real Fight, he's already on the level of Gods with the capacity to destroy universes. He started off with about the same base level power as Goku and Vegeta, only his skill level was severely lacking due to never having fought others before. That changed radically in mere minutes as Broly's skill evolved quickly and his power rose to match and exceed his opponents. All within a very short time frame.

Even Vegeta turning Super Saiyan, which is a 50x multiplier at minimum, ended up being overpowered by Broly within moments. It's not unfair to say that if Vegeta went SS2, his advantage wouldn't last more than a minute before Broly overpowered him again. So it is fair to say that Broly's base strength level is at least equal to Vegeta in SS2 form, Post-ToP. That's rather significant.

What's also significant is the gap between the normal SSJ forms and SSG. That is a huge gap. SSG is, at least, 100x greater than SS3, based on its performance against Beerus. When Vegeta went from SSJ to SSG, that created a massive gap in power. If we take SS3 as 500x base at minimum, and SSG is 100x that, then Vegeta's jump from SSJ to SSG is, at the lowest estimate, 1000x greater. That wasn't a gap Broly could close in a short time frame. Which lead to his awakening of his Ikari power. Which, by its performance, is on par with or even superior to the SSG boost.

Movie hypes and announcements don't count because Broly didn't even destroy the entire Earth. How can you compare a God of Destruction's power to a movie hype when Beerus destroyed half a planet with just a tap of a finger.

I love it when people use announcements and hypes to backup their claims when the movie itself literally contradicts those statements.

Ultra Instinct is said to be a technique used by Angels and it's been implied that Angels know how to use Ultra Instinct. That's why they try to teach it to the gods in their respective universe. It's not that far fetched since every Angel are the strongest in their entire universe. Beerus has been training under Whis for millions of years and he still hasn't mastered it. It's said to be incredibly hard to master.

Why is this even a question? UI and Jiren are in a different league than lssj broly and ssb gogeta period. I'm tired of people using beerus manga feats in the anime lol. beerus is not the strongest god of destruction, at least not according to the movies. In battle of gods, beerus said that he was the strongest being in the universe (universe 7) and that there are others out there stronger than him. And unless you consider manga to be more canon than battle of gods movie, then beerus is not the strongest god. Belmod was implied to be stronger than Beerus by whis, but beerus put it down by saying it was a mere arm wrestling competition. There is vague evidence showing that Belmod > beerus, but zero anime evidence showing that beerus > belmod. And goku saying that Broly is stronger than beerus is many levels of wrong. First of all, full power beerus was never ever shown in the anime, let alone seen by goku, and second, beerus has millions of years of experience, which even if he was weaker than broly (which is isn't) his skill alone would put broly down.

Even if (this is a big if) broly was somehow stronger than jiren, Jiren's experience and skill would easily annihilate Broly. We see this in Jiren vs Hit. Hit used time skips, and yet Jiren still knew where the punches would land. If Jiren can block a time skipper then I don't see why Jiren can't block broly.

Jiren should be taking this quite easily even in a suppressed state. His experience outmatches Broly's by far
