@clark_kent_2017: I'm not familiar with Clark's specific feats from S1 and S2
@geekryan: Clark has heat vision, x ray vision, bullet proof.
He also survived his ship exploding and making a large crater where he was and most of his clothes were destroyed. He was exposed to kryptonite before the explosion
He could melt a bullet with his heat vision while the bullet was moving.
Clark jumped over 200ft from the daily Planet to luthor corp
He's able to casually catch cars and out run bullets
At 1:14 catches up to bullets already fired
@war_of_light_2814: can crash a plane , topple buildings, bulletproof , able to lift a car easy , super speed but not sure how fast he is.
@kgb725: Interesting. How big are those bulding he toppled? Can bullet hurt him at all. Season 2 Clark is still somewhat affected by bullet, it's one of the critaria we could compare their durability.
@war_of_light_2814: the brightburn kid is bullet proof, he has heat vision, he can fly, he survived a plane crashing into him. His only weakness is the metal from his ship. He can collapse large buildings, in the end where he's destroying cities all over the world. I would say he is stronger than Clark but he would be a little bit slower
@clark_kent_2017: Yeah, he does sounfdstronger than Clark based on your description. How fast and durable is he?
@war_of_light_2814: in the end where he's destroying cities all over the world.
Did he really destroyed cities?
@assemblesquad: yeah it was shown in news form. We don’t get a big scene of it
@balancedtruth: Interesting.
Brightburn is probably as strong/durable, but not as fast. Most of his feats are FTE with no reaction or combat speeds to quantify.
Clark's heat vision is also likely stronger.
BUT, Clark would likely hold back against a kid, whereas Brightburn would blitz and go for the kill.
This could go either way
@war_of_light_2814: hes fast enough that he's in one spot and disappears a second later. He could fly fast enough to take out the cop without him seeing it coming. He flew above the the clouds in a matter of seconds
@geekryan: and remember, Clark gets to learn what Brandon can do but Brandon has no idea what Clark could do, Clark could catch Brandon by surprise if he tanks his heat vision or allowing Clark to punch him because he assumes he a normal human. Brandon could also fly to get away or recover. So it can go either way
You have to feel sorry for his parents the Kents Got Superman and they pretty much got Ultraman.
Lmao, this ^.
Also, reading the descriptions of the Brightburn kid from above posts makes me think of what Amanda Waller was talking about & feared in her steak-eating conversation in Suicide Squad:
"We got lucky with Superman. He shared our values. The next Superman might not."
And what that one general said in the meeting room:
"What if Superman had decided to fly down, rip off the roof of the White House and grab the President of the United States? Who would've stopped him?"
@clark_kent_2017: Brandon did not destroy cities all over the world, he only demolished large building around the cities.

To be fair the parents kinda failed him. Jonathan Kent wouldve talked to Brandon and not ignored his powers until it was too late.
If DC ever cosigns the universe they could easily make some sort of forever evil type of crossover since the JL is pretty much confirmed in that universe
@joshua755: They said 6 meteors hit one of them being the Superman kid and they show Michael Rooker saying superpowered individuals exist talking about a few of them and he shows some sketches of Manhunter (possibly)flash and talks about some weird Aquaman stuff
@kgb725: that doesn't mean anything you comic viner, that could be a completely different set of heroes that have nothing to do with DC.
@wilkiins17: Who else would you say a man attacking submarines in the ocean and a woman with a woman are supposed to be ?
@kgb725: well it's not part of DC so they couldn't be in this universe. That could be a character setup for a sequel or something.
@wilkiins17: Its basically an alternate take on them. DC didnt do anything about Brightburn and hes supposed to be Superman one of their 2 biggest characters. The names would be different but would be the same characters pretty much
@kgb725: oh ok I get it.
