Yup...i like blue marvel here...with difficulty...but his versatility should give him the win...not to mention the destructive properties of his power source.

Team can't even match Thragg, how do they beat Blue Marvel?

Same way Thragg would beat BM like a red headed step child.

Is it really such a stomp? I don't know that much about Blue Marvel, but I thought that he could atleast match Thragg who is still a bit bellow kryptonian levels.

Thragg is more on par with Superman in stats alone. Easily better than Wonder Woman or Supergirl in stats.

Speed? Sure. Stamina? His is even better than Superman. However, I can't agree that he is stronger and more durable than WW or Supergirl.

@nickras: How in one thread you say Superman is faster than Thragg, but admit he is faster than Wonder Woman and Supergirl who match superman speeds in battles?

When I said bellow kryptonian levels, I meant in general, not that ALL of his abilities are bellow Supes. Besides, you're the one who mentioned WW and Supergirl's physicals in general being weaker than Supes'.

The point is that I consider Thragg's strength and durability to be bellow Superman's.

Either could solo. BM is probably one of the most overrated characters on the site at the minute.

yet in all out fights, or serious fights, he cannot speed blitz them. Travel Speed =/= Combat Speed.

Pre 52, and even New 52 WW and Supergirl have great speed feats.

@sirfizzwhizz: Clark rarely all out fights them, but when he has he's bulrushed Kara before she could react and in pre 52 he was moving too fast for Wonder Woman to properly react to when he thought she was doomsday.

So the Blue Marvel hating already began, but IMO he could take the duo in a very good fight.

Pre 52 Wonder Woman beat a blood lusted mind control Superman already.

@sirfizzwhizz: it's been established that when superman is mind controlled he tends to either show restraint or general sloppiness, particularly in areas concerning speed.

@thedailybagel: I think its establish Superman is inconsistent, and should be judge on his average like all other characters, in which case he is not impressive as people who only use high ends like to think.

I dont like him. Deathbattle logic of Superman having no limits when he is beaten by beings with limits is a reason i dont like people using PIS inconsistent high ends.

He's not as overrated as he was awhile back. I hardly see him anymore.

No offence but I know you don't read superman comics. So I don't think you are really one to judge what supermans "average" is.

EDIT: Also superman thought wonder woman was doomsday during sacrifice. And even than wonder woman still needed to use kryptonite to save herself from superman, was knocked out when superman punched her from the sun to earth and was only reawakened by the heat of reentry, and did not win that fight. Superman was just fine after she slit his throat due to his healing factor. The fight was inconclusive.

I seen the debates, respect threads, and feats of the guy more than Hulk or Thor. I feel I have a good grasp of his abilities, of high ends, and average showings that outweigh in number to the very high, stupid high ends.

He got pawn from what I seen, and even WW was holding back knowing he was mind control. So inconclusive seems conclusive. Holding back WW that knew he was not himself held her own fine. I seen the WW vs Supes scans. Supes for all his "Bloodlust" was not that impressive.

Duo blitzes and wrecks.

Blue Marvel defeated the same Hyperion that matched Gladiator in all aspects, and it wasn't even an long fight. Not to mention his impressive showing against Anti-man. The duo have heck of a harder time that you people think. Blue Marvel lowballing as usual.

@lemonsauce: he didn't beat the guy that matched gladiator. He beat the guy who beat another guy who kinda matched gladiatior for about 8 seconds.

@sirfizzwhizz: From what I have seen of your comments you don't. For example you bring up how superman was bloodlusted against Wonder Woman but you leave out details like superman didn't even know he was fighting Wonder Woman. For example when she threw her tiearra at supes he saw it as doomsday punching him. And superman would have killed her if she didn't have kryptonite.

I still fail to see how Blue Marvel copes with being blitzed into oblivion by two stronger people than himself.

This is ridiculous considering Wonder Woman is by far one of the fastest comic book characters reaction-wise in history. She's actually faster than Superman in reactions and lightspeed attacks are still easily blocked by her and by Superman's own admission she's insanely fast. I don't know how failing to blitz one of DC's fastest characters is somehow a way to diminish Superman's capabilities. Regardless, by Diana's own admission Superman has more raw speed than her, but reaction-wise she's faster. That said, all of them are still faster than Vultrimites and they have absolutely no feats to imply they have anything close to Wonder Woman's reactions, you could argue about artwork all you want, but the best of speed we've seen about Vultrimites comes from traveling in which Superman ridiculously surpasses everyone mentioned here and most combat speed feats from Vultrimites are based on speculation and "logical" assertions.

@ghostravage: First off all, I am arguing Wonder Woman is as fast as Superman, so you reinforcing that point was a waste of text.

Second off, just because you wish to ignore the clear establish speed feats and statements that back them up is your problem. One that is being cleared up in out debate. Its is your turn btw :)
