Akainu can't even stomp MF Teach, let alone Yonko Teach. Lmao. MF Teach was going toe-to-toe with Sengoku + Garp whose are superior to Akainu as a team.

block a couple of punches is not exactly going toe to toe with someone...and Garp did less than nothing he actually punched Jesus and that was it.. the overhype of Blackbeard is amazing... yes he is a top tier, and he might be a yonkou but he is not certainly Kaido or Big Mom, and maybe even Shanks... and for the Record after Marineford He was scared the fuckup by Akainu after capturing bonnie.

I mean..Teach is featless as of now. Of course his DF hard counters Sakazuki's..so that plus the Gura Gura fruit could very well land him a majority.

Scared ? Teach isn't interested in pointless battles, why would someone who can invade Impel Down, Marineford and Revolutionary Base afraid of Akainu ? He didn't see any need to fight. That doesn't mean anything at all.

Teach was strong enough to hold his own against Sengoku + Garp before his prime, and one year later he decisively defeated Marco. And now, he is probably even more powerful.

Teach through sheer hype. He was able to beat Marco pretty bad, and that was one year before the time skip ended

He invaded impeldown by luck and prep and left it with even mooore luck ... he was ended by Magella with ONEEEEEEEPUUUUUNCH lol then he blocked a couple of punches from Sengoku, just Sengoku... and Garp did nothing, i mean punching Jesus wasnt something that impressive you know... and it doesnt count as if Teach was fighting him too.

BB as a yonkou ran from CP0, and it is not stablished against whom Teach fought in that fight ... great weapons like sabo or dragon? probably not... heck for what weve know he could only fought a bit of fodder ... he said: "no we are not ready for this" even with the almighty yami yami and gura gura, and Nakamas :/ the man was afraid.

Defeating Marco is a good feat but nothing says that Marco is strong as a yonko, at this time people like Luffy, Urouge or Doffy can defeat yonkou commanders with high diff... that is not like a super indication that they can go toe to toe with someone who actually fought against a Younko and gave him a fight. Also is stated that Marcos had a crushing defeat against the pirates of BB... however we dont know how the battle happend... that is pure epeculation like BB vs CP0 vs Dragon (RA).

In the other hand... Akainu vs Whitebeard, that is holding his own, Sengoku vs Teach not soo much. and by the power of his commanders he really leaves so much to desire

I think most of you guys are incorrect. Blackbeard was even with Sengoku at Marineford. Blackbeard must have gotten stronger after the time skip. Right now, Blackbeard can beat Akainu as easily as he beat Ace.

Blackbeard has the power to stop akainu but he's a spineless pleb as a human. Scared of his own shadow. Honestly tho the government said only the yonko can stop Blackbeard they didn't say anything about the marines, so that answers your question right there

teach has the power to win but i don't think he'd want to risk it. he ran from sakazuki during the timeskip

It honestly depends on how it plays out. Akainu has the stuff to potentially speed blitz BB but if BB uses that Black hole ability to take away his power like he did to ace that time then it could be BB.

Akainu would destroy the Blackbeard Pirates completely, their entire crew got scared and ran away from him when he was still wounded from the Marineford battle after giving fatal injuries to Whitebeard which was the strongest man in the world and this was before the timeskip, there is no way for Blackbeard to do anything against Akainu now that he is the Fleet Admiral.

id put akainu on shanks level, akainu wins 7/10 though my opinion might change over time.

While post-TS BB is featless, I'd be willing to give it to him based on how his fruit hard counters any logia and assuming he's mastered usage of the Tremor fruit.

Overall, probably 50/50 to me.
