Black Widow vs. Jason Bourne

Please explain using logic and reasoning, and include why.

I'm sorry if this was done already, I looked and I couldn't find this kind of fight under these circumstances.

I say that Black Widow wins, she shows some amazing acrobatic and fighting skills throughout the movie, Bourne is great, but he doesn't seem like he could out fight her up close if that happens, and with there handguns I would assume Bourne is devoured by her bullets

I believe both have the potential to win, and I would like to hear an argument for Jason just so I feel like I didn't make a mismatch..but other then that, I have no bias.

Hopefully I was able to make this somehow more fair for Jason, without making it such a spite match for either.

Letting Bourne take her by surprise and giving him a gun is overkill and with prep he can just do what he did against that guy in Waterloo station. Just follow her into a crowded area and jab a poison needle in her while there's to many people around before leaving. With these conditions there are to many ways Bourne can kill her, some without her even knowing he's there.

You said Bourne has 7 days to research her. He's an assassin not a guy who runs in to fight someone with his bare hands. Even if he thought he could beat her in H2H he wouldn't even bother to try if he could kill her by not even revealing himself or simply standing a long way off and putting a bullet in her back. Widow wouldn't even have time to react as you said he takes her by surprise.

With the conditions i'd say Bourne takes this easily.

If both where unarmed and no prep then this would be a good fight. Jason stands a chance at wining as he has demonstrated far superior H2H ability.

Widow is good and i'd put her above Desh but the problem is Bourne is unpredictable. He'd pick up the most innocent looking item an use it as a weapon.I think Widow would have trouble eventually due to Bourne's unpredictable fighting style and his ability to use almost anything as a weapon will catch her off guard.

I took away the prep because I wasn't sure who needed how much prep, but then I realized most people were saying that Black Widow would whoop him far too quickly almost to the point of stomping him.

Yes she took out a few security guards in Iron Man 2 but anyone of Bourne's enemies(Desh, Castel etc...) and Bourne himself could have done that faster and without the help of gadgets. We already saw him do it in the Bourne Identity. My guess is people look at it and think "Wow her fighting style is awesome thus she must win".

@HBKTimHBK: Lol a fight between these two unarmed wouldn't be a stomp. I think it could go either way with Jason taking a slim majority due to unpredictably. Don't go just on what i say lol there may have been sumthing in the Avengers I missed. Let a few other people give their options first :p

At least you believe so haha, yesterday I just kept hearing all these things giving Black Widow the advantage was putting her in a stomp. I'll wait.

Bourne.

With these conditions I think it'll play out like Strider said. Bourne will kill her before she see's him as was stated he's an assassin not a soldier. In a normal hand to hand fight its close but with Bourne taking the most wins.

Okay...this is what I get for changing around my normal conditions.

@HBKTimHBK Widow only fought one person with real skills, Hawkeye. In that fight she got the jump on him, and it isn't like she completely dominated him. Furthermore, Hawkeye isn't even noted for his H2H skills. Everyone else Widow fought is cannon fodder. Bourne has fought more skilled combatants, in my opinion.

jason bourne's style of fighting is less asethicially pleasing but more effective imo. His ability to use everyday items as weapons gives him the edge here.

This brings me back to my original opinion. Good fight and very close but with Bourne taking a small majority due to his resourcefulness and unpredictable fighting style.

@HBKTimHBK: Me too, he made this series. I just hope he comes back for the next one. It'sp perfectly possible as the Bourne Legacy novel didn't involve Bourne directly even though his influence was felt pretty much right the way through it. Hopefully it'll follow the novels and set up his return on the next movie.
