Same Circumstances
Black Manta (DCEU) replaces Cap and Bucky in Civil War Final Fight
Pretty sure Manta. IIRC this suit is kinda weak, being Cap and Bucky able to give Tony a match, and Steve and Bucky wouldn't be able to give Arthur a good match just as how Manta did... besides the plasma beams will damage him a lot...
Lmao it looks like Tony is doing the thriller dance.
Iron man wins though imo not easily but still wins.

How would Cap & Bucky do vs Manta?
@phoenixdiamond616: Steve spent most of the fight attacking a Tony that was trying to ignore him. Plus, Steve was constantly using his shield and Bucky his arm to damage Tony’s suit, they were not capable of doing that with their bare hands and didn’t. If Tony was focused on one opponent and wasn’t trying to fight him H2H, he would do a lot better with all of his powerful ranged equipment. How do you think Black Manta would fair against tank missiles? That red laser beam that cuts through drones and Ultron bots like cake? List goes on. Tony never got the chance to use that stuff properly because he never focused on Steve until the end and Steve was constantly pressuring him and using his shield to try to damage the suit.
Tony wins, Manta can do dmg to this suit with his beams but that's it. Nothing else in his arsenal is going to hurt Tony.
@vummax: He has atlantean b;ades which would for sure do damage.
@tonymartial: Only feat is hurting a non water amped AM who was hurt by a grenade and a punch that didn't damage a wooden ship.
@tonymartial: oh well, I'm the one who see's a blade with 1 feat and thinks it can cut anything because it's "Alteian"
This armor is crap, under the exact same circumstance, Manta wins.
Agreed
If Iron Man regards Manta as a friend and tries non-lethal/restraining methods like he did against Cap, he loses. If he fights with even a semblance of intelligence he wins
@amonfire1776: but the OP says same circumstances, so he would hold back in this fight...

Could go either way
Manta melts him.

Nothing in either movie Aquaman appeared in states he becomes more powerful in the water. We even get a clear description of how his powers work from Vulko's monologue and he mentions Aquaman's body is as strong as it is due to being adapted to the sea. Nothing about drawing physical power from the sea.
The idea that DCEU Aquaman is stronger in the water than on land is one invented by people who want to ignore his best strength and striking feats in order to lowball him.
@metaljimmor: oh it's going to spread
