@motifian: Cap had to suckerpunch because he didn't want a fight, he wanted a KO. Otherwise Clark would have dodged or blocked the punch. The fact that Superman was KO'd in two hits is further proof that Marvel is every bit as strong as Superman, and even in the scan the guy says "not many people can do that". Wonder Woman can't do what he did, nor can Martian Manhunter, only someone as strong as the Man of Steel can do something like that to him.

Please show scans of the wizard amping Captain Marvel, because I don't recall him ever doing that in the story.

Just one page later Captain Marvel drained Black Adam's power which only Shazam could do and when Captain Marvel said his name, Shazam's power literally flowed back into him.

I'm assuming you think BA is stronger than Captain Marvel because Superman said that BA hits harder than Cap.

That statement was written by Gail Simone, and she had BA struggle against Captain Nazi who Captain Marvel has easily defeated, so I'd take Superman's statement with a grain of salt.

That Captain Nazi instant was an outlier, and definitely powered by PIS due to a Nazi fighting an Egyptian with both being villains (so if they're somewhat equal, the Nazi always comes out on top against Middle Easterners, just like in Indiana Jones. You know the deal).

I think BA is stronger because he keeps fighting against entire Herald tier teams in different occasions and holding his own or even defeating them. Not just WW3, but in Reign as well.

Captain Marvel's best showings is being consistently shown and said as equal to Superman (scaling, so yawn), and completely fodderizing Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter (not impressive to be honest)

How many times do Shazam and BA have to be shown as even matches for Superman for this site to admit that they are on his level? I don’t understand.

Team wrecks. Hercules alone can give him an extremely hard fight, with Rulk assisting him this is basically a slaughter.

Team, Hercules is a lot more skilled which since speed is equalized would give him a faux-speed edge. Also not convinced that Adam has a solid physicals edge on him. Rulk is also helpful.

Superman would take BAs head off.
