Broken Bludhaven:

No Caption Provided

The Semi Final Battle takes place in the Bludhaven after Chemo's big boom. The area is filled with radiation and toxic chemicals and is a generally awful place to be. The area is devoid of all life and due to the containment field, you cannot leave the area regardless of powers.

Chemo's Heart lies at the center of the map, obtaining it will allow you to reduce the radiation around your team. Getting to it will be difficult because it is emitting radiation at doses that will kill an unprotected human in half a second.

Rules:

  • No BFR is allowed but if you can manage to put a relatively unprotected person into the toxic goo it will function as you might expect.
  • No Tele-BFR or Dismemberment
  • Win is by Death, Incapacitation, or KO
  • Each team gets 5 minutes prep and basic info about the enemy team. The Basic Info includes names, pictures, and abiities. Bought Equipment is not known until you engage it. Obviously, if you have the perks that grant you more prep or knowledge, you get that instead.
  • The First Team Listed starts on the left while the Second Team Listed starts on the right.
  • Bought Items are listed in Parentheses. 2nd round items are listed in the second set of parentheses. 3rd round items are listed in the third set of parentheses.

@esquire I worked an 8 and a half hour shift today so I'm a tad tired and won't be responding to this in any depth/posting a strategy tonight, though I should have one posted by this time tomorrow night.

Your Perks

I'm writing this down just for a reference of the perks you have, and what they do for you.

  • Ex-Men - Unlocked Bastion
  • More Like Professor SuX - Unlocked Danger
  • Absolute Power - Granted you 5 shots of MGH
  • Evil Always Wins - Granted you 1 extra hour of preparation time, thus increasing your preparation time total to 1 hour 5 minutes

My Perk

I'm writing this down just for a reference of the perk that I have, also notifying you of what it will do for me

  • Meek Inherit Earth - Grants me full knowledge of your team, this includes the knowledge that your team has of your items, essentially granting me knowledge of all of your items, strengths, and weaknesses.

The Battleground

Bludhaven, good ol' Bludhaven. Thankfully I have two members of my team who are knowledgeable of the city, Tim Drake & Cyborg. Tim actually dealt with a Chemo Blasted Bludhaven during/after Infinite Crisis, Superman had him lead the Titans in a rescue effort around the city, so the fact that he has this experience can only help my team.

Now looking at your team the only people that don't have to worry about Radiation would be the Fearsome Four, Danger, Bastion, and maybe Wolverine, I don't know if he has any absorbing feats/radiation feats that would assist him here, even if he did he would get weakned by the stuff. Everyone else on your team seems relatively vulnerable to the goo and probably won't be going for Chemo's Heart, which is what my team can afford to do.

Iron Fist has some energy absorbing feats, one of which is absorbing radiation from the supervillain Radion, who emits deadly radiation that would kill a normal being. Danny was able to absorb this energy while fighting Radon, and eventually come out victorious. Other members of my team that can withstand the radiation would be the Sapphire Dragon, Sweet Baby Among Us, Iron Spider, and the Fearsome Four.

Tim has a healing factor due to the Nth Metal that he's wearing, Cyborg is mostly a machine, and Hawkeye is in Captain Britain's Suit, which should give him some resistance to the deadly radiation. This leaves Daredevil as really the only member of my team who is in the danger zone due to the radioactive fallout.

Meet the Team

Daredevil

The Man without Fear. Daredevil has been blinded yet uses his other enhanced senses and acrobatic skills to bring justice to those who do wrong.

Powers

Enhanced Senses - Due to his blindness Daredevil's other senses have been increased to impressive levels. With his sensitive sense of touch he can read just by pressing his fingers over the ink, not braille, he can actually feel the ink on paper. His hearing has a developed 'radar sense' giving him the ability of echolocation. He can also sense changes in the atmosphere such as when beings like Nightcrawler teleport. Lastly, his sense of smell is so acute that he can sniff out traces of gun powder, even if the shooter is blocks away from Daredevil's current location or track various foes or targets by their smells.

Scans 1 & 2 feature his enhanced sense of smell. Scan 3 shows him sensing Nightcrawler, a teleporter, before he teleports.

Abilities

Daredevil is a master of the Martial Arts, and was trained by The Stick. Daredevil uses a specially designed Billy Club in all of his fights and has been seen to block bullets on numerous occasions with it, which one could assume means he has incredible reflexes and agility. He's also a skilled detective, since he works as an attorney in his civilian disguise. Due to his enhanced senses he has been seen to have a sort of 'sixth sense' for teleportation users, and can sense their arrival due to the changes in the atmosphere. It was also shown that his mind is highly resistant to telepathy, due to all the work that goes into functioning at the levels he does with his various senses it uses, it causes an overload.

Bullet Dodging / Deflecting / Redirecting ( lots of these scans were taken from Vance_Astro, so thanks for posting those )

Scan 1 shows the impact his mind has on telepaths while scans 2 through 7 show a fight against Captain America, a skilled combatant. The last scan is of Daredevil explaining how he analyzes a fight & what his senses do for him in that fight. ( Ferro Vida provided scans 2 through 8, so thank you )

Equipment

Billy Club - Daredevil has a customized Billy Club that he uses for combat purposes. It contains 30 feet of aircraft control cable that is connected to a steel grappling hook. He can split this club into two parts, one that is a baton while the other is a curved hook. Daredevil is able to use the club to block bullets and send them back at their targets, as well as a throwing weapon, and has been shown throwing it at gunmen before they can fire their gun's off.

Daredevil using his Billy Club in combat ( besides deflecting bullets ) & some diagrams of how it's designed.

Vibranium Suit & Shield - Vibranium is a metal in the Marvel Universe that deadens the impact of objects that hit it by robbing them of their kinetic energy. Captain America's Shield & Black Panther's Suit are made of Vibranium. The Armor & Shield with both absorb impacts from foes, while the shield can also be used offensively.

Pig Talisman - The Pig Talisman is one of the various magical talisman's from JCA. The Pig allows the user to shoot blasts from their eyes ( optic blasts ) while also giving them heat vision.

Snake Talisman - The Snake Talisman is one of the various magical talisman's from JCA. The Snake allows the user to turn themselves invisible, allowing for stealthy attacks and getaways.

Rabbit Talisman - The Rabbit Talisman is one of the various magical talisman's from JCA. The Rabbit allows the user to move at super sonic speeds. The Rabbit also allows the user to lend speed to other objects in order to speed them up, such as the ability of Wally West to lend speed to objects & other humans.

Monkey Talisman - The Monkey Talisman is one of the various magical talisman's from JCA. The Monkey allows the user to shapeshift into animals, essentially what Beast Boy can do. The Monkey also grants the user the ability to turn inanimate objects into animals, though the talisman must be touching the object they wish to transform before the transformation can take place. Lastly the Monkey can be used to transform other humans into animals against their will. An example of this is when Jade used the talisman to turn her uncle Jackie into a Yak.

T-Spheres - T Spheres are incredibly advanced pieces of technology developed by the 2nd Mr.Terrific. They are able to project Holograms, unlock electric locks, create laser grids, transmit video of a target, implode by command, and link to various data networks. They can also transform into a T-Mask to make the wearer invisible to technology.

Emperor Scorpion - The Emperor Scorpion is a Shen-Gong-Wu that allows the user to control other Shen-Gong-Wu. In this situation the Emperor Scorpion held by Daredevil would be used to command the Fearsome Four.

Cyborg

Victor Stone was once a high school football star who, after an accident disfigured his body, is now more machine than man who works with the Justice League.

Powers

Superhuman Strength - Due to his mechanical enhancements Cyborg can bench press several tons.

Superhuman Endurance - His mechanical body has increased his durability. Also due to various modifications he can survive without sleep & can breathe under water.

Computer Interfacing - Cyborg can infiltrate computers and obtain data from them. He's also used to doing research in the Watchtower, whose computer can preform 100 Trillion Calculations in a single second, so it's clear that he can process information quickly if he sorts through that.

Cybrog's data obtaining abilities

Flight - Due to jets in his boots Cyborg possess the power of flight.

Teleportation - Via Boom Tube Technology Cyborg can teleport himself or groups of people. A recent upgrade has given his teleportation a silent feature, which allowed Cyborg to teleport Batman right near Superman & Wonder Woman, who heard nothing and were generally surprised by Batman's appearance.

Displaying his ability to teleport groups & his silent mode

Self Repair - Cyborg can flawlessly repair his parts no matter how worn out they are. His repair system has also enhanced his biological parts.

Integrated Weapons System - The most popular weapon we see Cyborg use is his Sound Amplifier or White Sound Cannon. It was used to restrain Superman in the comics due to his sensitive hearing abilities. It's also powerful enough to level buildings and blow apart rock.

Map Creation/Tracking - Cyborg has been shown on numerous occasions to be able to download schematics or blueprints of various areas and create a pop up map for them. His Boom-Tube Technology also works by registering known Heroes into his systems, allowing him to transport them even without their will/consent. This was shown during the Throne of Atlantis Arc.

Abilities

Cyborg is shown to be an experienced combatant. He was able to hold his own in combat when Doomsday attacked, fighting off large numbers of Parademons before he had even truly adjusted to his cybernetic enhancements. His proficiency in combat was shown further during the Throne of Atlantis Arc, where he fought off Atlantians during the invasion led by Orm. His cybernetic enhancements also have given him increased senses of sight and hearing. He is constantly used in the Justice League for creating maps, teleporting the team, hacking/infiltrating computer systems, and sorting through data quickly to find out useful information.

Equipment

Equipment

Tactigon - The Tactigon is an alien piece of technology that can find an enemy's weakness, and exploit it. It has been classified as an Omega Level Threat by War Machine. It can virtually become any weapon that is required in the current situation that the user faces.

Battle Computer - The Battle Computer allows the user to obtain information on how a fight would go down, then allowing them to work backwards to accurately predict the opponents next moves. Combine this with Cyborgs already powerful information processing abilities and he becomes an incredibly gifted strategist & combatant.

Cold Gun - Captain Cold's Cold gun is an INCREDIBLE piece of technology. The Cold Gun reaches temperatures of Absolute Zero, which would essentially freeze anything it touches, allowing it to then be shattered. The Cold Gun can also create a "Cold Field" that, to normal mortals who do not posses Super Speed, becomes lethal.

Shard of Lightning - The Shard of Lightning is a Shen-Gong-Wu that allows the user(s) to move at lightspeed for a short period of time

Ultimate Hawkeye

Powers

Hawkeye became the greatest sharp-shooter known to man. He then joined the Avengers. This is what he does when he's not being an avenger. That's all you need to know.

Abilities

Hawkeye is a Grandmaster Archer and an experienced combatant. He is known for his ability to turn anything into a weapon. His body is at the peak of human conditioning, coupled with the fact that he is a skilled acrobat and was an Olympian Archer. He sees things in Black & White due to the amount of cones in his eyes, allowing him to see what's real and whats not. He can fire 6 arrows before the average human can fire 6 bullets, making him a deadly opponent at both long and short range distances.

Equipment

Bow - Hawkeye's Bow is what allows him to work well at long distances with all of his trick arrows. It's been shown to be incredibly difficult for others to use in combat, which shows that Hawkeye has incredible skill with the weapon.

Equipment

Utility Belt - The utility belt is the standard for members of the Bat Family. It's contents usually contain a Grappling Gun/Hook, A Camera, Tracers, Smoke Pellets, Bola's, and various other gadgets. I assume I don't have to go that in depth with this considering all of your members ( besides the Creeper ) are members of the Bat Family and have their own utility belts.

Costume - Tim's Costume is made of Kevlar and can withstand some punishment. The Metal Wings on his back can defend him against corrosive acids and bullets. He can also use the Wing's to Fly.

Tim has achieved flight with his costume and uses it to protect himself from various attacks.

Grappling Hook - It's a standard grappling hook. You shoot it at something, it hooks to the something you shot at, it then lets you climb to that something. Wooohooo.

Red Robin Throwing Discs - Instead of using Bat-a-Rangs Tim uses throwing discs imbued with the Red Robin insignia.

Medusa Mask - The Medusa Mask is the mask worn by Psycho Pirate. The mask allows the wearer to project emotions onto others, or expand upon emotions that they're already feeling. This can cause people to go into an uncontrollable rage, subdue them into a calming state, or make them fall deeply in love with the next person they see. It is also said that the Mask holds the remnants of the Multiverse and is capable of summoning any of the characters of the realities that once existed.

Manipulating Emotions is fun.

Nth Metal Mask & Bo Staff - Nth Metal is a material that allows the wearer to negate gravity. It also increase the rate at which wounds heal, increase the strength of the user, protects them from the elements, and protects them from extremes in temperature. Tim also traditionally uses a Bo Staff in combat, so with the Nth Metal staff he will be able to hit harder and recover quicker.

Golden Tiger Claws - The Golden Tiger Claws grant the user the ability to teleport to anywhere that they desire.

Reversing Mirror - The Reversing Mirror allows the user to reflect and attack that is directed it them. It can also be used to reverse the effects of a Shen Gong Wu.

Iron Fist

Powers & Abilities

The Iron Fist - After defeating the Dragon Shou-Lao the Undying and plunging his hands into the molten heart of the beast he was granted the power of the Iron Fist. This power allows Danny to summon his chi and focus it to augment his abilities to extraordinary levels. By focusing all of his chi energies into his fist it gains a superhuman hardness and becomes impervious to damage.

Chi Abilities - Rand has learned and mastered several chi abilities after being given the The Book of the Iron Fist by his predecessor Orson Randal. These abilities will be listed below.

  • Healing - Iron Fist can heal himself or others
  • Mind Melding - Iron Fist can meld his mind with others to obtain their memories, sense their emotions, and free them of mind control.
  • Increased Speed - Iron Fist can increase his speed allowing him to dodge or catch bullets.
  • Hypnotism - After obtaining The Book of the Iron Fist and learning various techniques from Orson Randal. With this Chi Technique he can create various illusions and make his foes see what they want them to see.
  • Increased Durability - Iron Fist can create a sort of "Force Field" with his Chi protecting his entire body from damaging blasts, just like his does with his fist while he fights.
  • Ranged Attacks - Iron Fist can project his Chi into a ranged attack, sort of like an energy blast. Rand can also transfer his Chi into other objects to accelerate them or give them more power.
  • Energy Absorption - Iron Fist can absorb various forms of energy, including radioactivity and explosive blasts ( such as blasts from the mutant, Nitro ).

Martial Arts Abilities - Without his Chi powers Rand is still a master of the K'un Lun martial arts and several of Earth's Martial Arts. He is a registered lethal weapon, and during the Civil War arc was able to prove that his abilities are skill based not power based.

Reflexes & Senses - Iron Fist has sparred against the Invisible Woman and was able to avoid her attacks and seek her out by feeling slight changes in the air current. He can focus his hearing so intensely that he can hear sweat rolling down someones face. With his enhanced Chi abilities he can catch projectiles such as handgun rounds, sniper rounds, and even Captain America's shield. He can then return these items to the sender or to a different target with a powerful chi blast, sending them back even faster then they were originally moving.

Equipment

10 Rings of the Mandarin - The 10 Rings of the Mandarin are rings that each posses a great power, one ring is worn on each finger. The various powers will be explained below, though it must be known that they are controlled by a strong connection to the rings via telepathy or a chi connection.

  • Ice Blast - "The ring emits waves of cold which can be used to stun an opponent. The ring usually causes the air in the path of its blast to turn to ice, and can lower an object's temperature to nearly absolute zero."
  • Mento Intensifier - "The ring magnifies the wearer's own psionic energy, allowing him to place one or more people under his mental control and to transmit orders to them mentally. Most frequently used to create illusions."
  • Electro Blast - "The ring emits electricity in amounts at intensities mentally determined by the wearer. The maximum current attainable is not known."
  • Flame Blast - "The ring emits infrared radiation, or heat, at intensities mentally determined by the wearer. Usually the heat produces flame through incandescing the molecules in the air in the path of the blast. The heat beam can be used to trigger chemical explosions. The maximum amount of heat it can generate is not known."
  • White Light - "This ring can emit various forms of energy along the electromagnetic spectrum. Has been used to create gravity powerful enough to make Iron Man bury himself by trying to walk forward."
  • Black Light - "The ring can create an area of absolute blackness that seems to absorb all light used within it. Although "black light" is a term used to refer to ultraviolet radiation, the darkness created by the ring is probably a form of the "darkforce" used by Cloak, Darkstar, and the Shroud."
  • Disintegration Beam - "The ring emits a beam of energy that destroys all bonds between the atoms and molecules of the object it strikes. This ring needs twenty minutes to recharge after use."
  • Vortex Beam - "The ring causes the air to move about at high speed in a vortex. The vortex can be used as an offensive weapon, as a means of levitating objects, or as a means of propelling the ring's wearer through the air."
  • Impact Beam - "This ring can project various forms of energy, most frequently that of fast neutrons with great concussive force. The ring has also been used to project intense sonic vibrations and to create magnetic waves to attract or repel objects. The ring may be capable of emitting other forms of energy as well, and has been used to send Iron Man slamming through a mountain."
  • Matter Rearranger - "This ring can rearrange the atoms and molecules of a substance, or speed up or slow down their movement, so as to produce various effects. The ring has been used to condense water vapor in the air to liquid water, to solidify gasses, to create lethal poison gas from the air, to turn a group of men to stone, to turn a man into a beetle, to turn a mountain into a rock-monster, and to make a stone hand large enough to engulf Iron Man's body erupt from the floor. The ring cannot rearrange the atoms and molecules of Iron Man's magnetic-beam reinforced armor."

Horse Talisman - The Horse Talisman grants the user the power of healing. It can instantly cure the user of disease or illness, prevent physical injury, mend broken bones, and relieve disorientation.

Sheep Talisman - The Sheep Talisman is a rather interesting talisman that allows the user to leave their body and wander around as a soul. While in the soul form they are inaudible, can fly through walls, and can't be seen. It has also been demonstrated that the Sheep Talisman can be used to eject a foe's soul of their body, causing their physical body to ragdoll and slump to the ground.

Mento's Helmet - A helmet made by Mento that increases the wearers telepathic abilities.

Crystal Glasses - Shen Gong Wu that grants the wearer precognition.

Sphere of Yun - Shen Gong Wu that allows the user to form an invisible, impenetrable prison around their enemy. It also grants the user control over the prisoner's possessions.

Emperor Scorpion - The Emperor Scorpion is a Shen-Gong-Wu that allows the user to control other Shen-Gong-Wu. In this situation the Emperor Scorpion held by Iron Fist would be used to command the Fearsome Four if Daredevil fails in Combat.

Sapphire Dragon

The Sapphire Dragon was malevolent, quiet, cunning, and a frightful being of chaos. When activated it went on a rampage turning all of it's foes into solid blocks of sapphire. It becomes more powerful the more foes it takes down.

Sweet Baby Among Us

The SBAU is a giant golden baby. When activated it has a large amount of strength and the ability to fire gold sheets from its diaper which wrapped around its target.

They've also got cameras on the tips of them so they can see around corners. The Suit also features a Filtration Mask & Enhanced Lenses. The Suits Antenna allows for 'Speed of Thought' control. The suit also contains a Super-Conducting Plastic Opto-Electrical Hybrid Computer 4.2 Teraflop Speed CPU, from Stark Industries, that helps prevent it from being attacked by other tech devices. It has a self repair system & basic first aid abilities. The Suit also has gliding capabilities.

Black Beetle - When this Shen Gong Wu was activated, it coated the user in a heat resistant black body armor and protected the user from extreme heat. It could also take the form of a heat-resistant raft when used to protect more than one person.

Shadow of Fear - When this Shen Gong Wu was activated, it allowed the user to go into the dreams of others and bring to life their deepest, darkest fears.

Denshi Bunny - This Shen Gong Wu allows its user to transform into electricity.

Fearsome Four

The Fearsome Four are a group of Demonic Warriors created when Mala Mala Jong, a being of pure Shen-Gong-Wu, uses the Ring of the Nine Dragons.

Heart of Jong - Animates unanimated objects.

Two Ton Tunic - When activated the torso turned into a tunic made of two tons. It was said to be invulnerable. When used with the Heart of Jong, it gave birth to Mala Mala Jong.

Golden Tiger Claws - The Golden Tiger Claws were a Shen Gong Wu that allowed the user to transport between two places instantly by ripping a hole in space that the holder could jump into, coming out of another hole in a place of their choice within seconds.

Fist of Tebigong - Strong enough to break the ground, but it still could not break the Two-Ton Tunic, presumably because they were made of the same material. It was usually used as an offensive Shen Gong Wu, but has also been used as a shield.

Shroud of Shadows - Allows the user to make himself or any objects invisible, to a degree.

Longi Kite - When this Shen Gong Wu was activated, the user placed it on his/her back and it gave them the power to fly.

Eye of Dashi - It releases bolts of electricity and generated unlimited power into a desired object.

Ring of the Nine Dragons - This Shen Gong Wu, when activated, could multiply the user into as many as nine people.

Fancy Feet - It allows the user to run at superhuman speeds.

Prep Time

  • Activate the Sapphire Dragon & Sweet Baby Among Us
  • Summon Mala Mala Jong & have him split into the Fearsome Four
  • Have Hawkeye divide into his Ying & Yang forms
  • Use Medusa Mask to Bloodlust entire team
  • Meek Inherit Earth Perk grants full knowledge on your team & items, you still know nothing about my items
  • Use knowledge obtained by the Perk to use the Battle Computer on Wolverine
  • Entire team ( 13 members ) touch the Shard of Lightning, granting momentary Lightspeed movement.

The Battle Plan

So right off the bat my team has more members than yours, you have 11 while I have 13. My team has also been bloodlusted by the Medusa Mask, which is a HUGE benefit to my teams abilities & destructive capabilities.

STEP 1 - Secure Chemo's Heart

  • Iron Fist will move with Hawkeyes 1 & 2, The Iron Spider Armor, Cyborg, and Tim Drake to the Heart
  • Iron Fist will be the one to obtain the heart due to the fact that he has Radiation Resistance combined with the Horse & Dog Talisman.
  • Bask in the glory of radiation protection.

STEP 2 - Kill the Phoenix

  • Hawkeye 1 & Hawkeye 2 will have been split into the Ying & Yang forms, though when this was done in the show they still had all of the clothes they were wearing previously, this would also mean that Captain Britain's suit is still on the both of them.
  • In the above scans for the Suit it showed Captain Britain being able to generate a force field great enough to push back against the full power of the Phoenix Force, right now we're only dealing with a fragment.
  • Mystique's mind will also be fragile at this point due to so much exposure to the Fragment, I don't believe her to be that experienced of a host. This will make her a prime target for Tim & the Medusa Mask.
  • One Mystique has been overpowered by the brute force of my collective team it'll be time to start step 3.

STEP 3 - Remove the EMP

  • Bedlam is slightly terrifying due to his ability to discharge EMP's. If he makes any attempt to fire an EMP upon my own team he'll be screwing his own team over due to the fact that we could redirect the EMP with the Reversing Mirror OR by sending it through a portal created by the Golden Tiger Claws, thus getting rid of all the technology on your own team.
  • This would mean that Danger & Bastion are KO-ed, adding the kill count up to 3.
  • This also means that the T-Spheres, Mento's Helmet, Mandarin Rings, Webshooters, and Promethius Suit are useless.

STEP 4 - Mala Mala Jong & the Fearsome Four vs Mala Mala Jong & the Fearsome Four?

  • To defeat the Fearsome Four & Mala Mala Jong in the show the Golden Tiger Claws were used to remove the Heart of Jong
  • My Fearsome Four has access to the Golden Tiger Claws, yours do not.
  • My Fearsome Four remove the hearts from your Fearsome Four, thus rending them useless & unanimated.

KILL COUNT - 7

STEP 5 - Vanishing Act

  • Vanisher isn't a threat to my team due to the fact that Daredevil & Iron Fist can sense changes in the atmosphere, thus sensing teleporters.
  • Vanisher's Shard of Lightning isn't all that useful against 3 Cold Guns, he'd be slowed down if he tried to attempt any sort of blitz.
  • Daredevil, Tim, and Iron Fist work together to bring him down. Iron Fist still has his 10 Rings & Tim's strength is increased due to Nth Metal.
  • Even with the Staff of One he can only cast each spell one time. He'd be over powered before he could become all that effective.

STEP 6 - You Spin me round like a record, baby!

  • Your team all posses mutant abilities, mine do not.
  • S.P.I.N darts have been given to the Hawkeye's, each one has 5 darts.
  • With 2 expert marksmen attacking Wolverine along with Cyborg who can predict all his moves via the Battle Computer I think he'd eventually be tagged by a dart, thus removing him of his mutant powers.
  • Sapphire Dragon flies on in and turns ol' Logan into a giant block of Canadian Sapphire.

KILL COUNT - 9

STEP 7 - Ferocious Feral

  • Feral reminds me of Cheetah with her powerset & appearance, which reminds me that she has increased senses, thus making her weak to extremes in these sensory outputs.
  • Lock on with White Noise Cannon.
  • Blast away, deafening her.
  • Focus fire on Feral while the Tactigon creates a weapon to kill her for good.

STEP 8 - Goodnight, Bedlam

  • Bedlam doesn't pose much of a physical threat.
  • He could be attacked by the SBAU, Sapphire Dragon, Iron Spider, & Fearsome Four at the same time.
  • Bedlam cannot fight off that many people at once.
  • Bedlam get's put to bed.

STEP 9 - Wait for @esquire to come in here and counter these points, thus resulting in a really fun debate

  • I'm sure you have plenty of counters for this, I look forward to seeing them
  • This debate should be really fun
  • Why am I awake at 1:47 AM?

Points to keep in mind

  • My team can redirect your EMP'S
  • My team is Bloodlusted
  • My team knows your items, you don't know mine unless I think about them, which they won't.
  • My team slightly outnumbers yours.
  • My team doesn't rely on mutant powers, just pure skill & abilities, I know your team has plenty of skill too, but the S.P.I.N darts can really put a hurting on your team, especially in the hands of a marskman like Hawkeye

@thetruebarryallen

First off, I'll start with a breakdown of my team and why they've been built in the fashion I've built them.

Roles:

Ultimate Wolverine: Tank

Because of the Absolute Power perk, Logan's already impressive healing factor is doubled in potency. It already let him regenerate limbs, ignore slashing damage, and even survive as only a head, so with it doubled he'll be very tough to put down. But that's far from the extent of his healing ability. He has, in addition, a Deadpool-level healing factor given by the Dog and Horse Talismans. The Horse has allowed people to heal huge gaping holes in seconds, and the Dog Talisman makes Logan completely immortal, so his healing factor will always have the couple seconds it needs to patch him back into shape. Interestingly, the Horse talisman also heals inanimate objects, so if Logan's lack of adamantium joints lets him lose a bone or a vertebrae, the Horse may well be able to repair the damage as adamantium. As if that wasn't enough, Wolverine has the Anti-Venom Symbiote, which has a healing factor powerful enough to heal a shotgun blast to the head in seconds. And just as icing on the cake, the Old Power Forcefield gives a mild healing factor, as seen when it heals Amadeus Cho's ribs in a few minutes. So this is four healing factors powerful enough to revive from near-death states, plus immortality and another minor HF on the side. Logan will be able to regenerate all the flesh in his body in a matter of moments, making him basically impossible to take down at all.

But his durability will make even damaging him a tall order. The combination of Anti-Venom, Adamantium skeleton, and Old Power Forcefield gives him far above bulletproof durability and toughness to shrug off hits from high-tonners even to the point of tanking a hit from Mjolnir. His durability is extremely good, and his healing factor is obscene. He would be basically impossible to kill even without the Talisman granting him immortality. As it is, there is virtually no physical attack capable of keeping him on the ground for more than a couple seconds.

He's also got potent offensive capability. At melee range, he has excellent skills and adamantium claws which have let him cut up things like Ultimate Iron Man's armor and She-Hulk's body. He has the Anti-Venom Symbiote which boosts his already superhuman speed, strength, and reaction speed. It also gives him additional offensive options such as tendrils, extending his lethality to close range. Also in this range he has the Old Power taser, which is powerful enough to give even Skaar pause, and a webshooter which can incapacitate anyone without substantial superhuman strength. At long range, he has eye beams, fire blasts, and a Shen Gong Wu that fires blasts which vaporize anything they hit. Finally, he has Mento's helmet. This gives him powerful telepathy and telekinesis, and grants him the ability to go intangible. As if his durability and healing weren't enough, he can avoid hits entirely with his fighting skill, speed, invisibility granted by the Snake talisman, and intangibility thanks to the Helmet.

Wolverine is also a very capable stealth character who has been modified to be invisible to radar. Coupled with the Snake Talisman's invisibility, his sneaking skills give my team another option, increasing my already impressive versatility.

Bedlam: Anti-Tech

Bedlam is the most highly specified of my team, and although his items grant him a lot of versatility, by far his primary purpose is to take down any and all opposing technology. Jesse Bedlam's power is to emit Electromagnetic Pulses, which have shown enough power to take down Iron Man himself. He, like the rest of my team, has the Mutant Growth Hormone granted by the Absolute Power perk, which doubles his power, and he also has the Potis Altaire, which amplifies his power several more times over. This gives him a ridiculous amount of tech-stopping power and allows him to devastate any technology you're packing with extreme prejudice.

With the Darkhawk Amulet, he's also got solid offensive power and, coupled with vibranium, very good durability. He has energy blasts, claws, flight, even mild precognition. And with his Shen Gong Wu, he can go intangible. He's a master martial artist with a vibranium sword and super strength to back it up. He'll be very difficult to kill thanks to durability and intangibility. Even beyond his EMP blasts, he's a formidable opponent.

Mystique: Powerhouse

Mystique's major use is for the Telepathy and Telekinesis granted by the Phoenix Force. This is by far the most powerful psionic item left in the tournament, and grants an extremely diverse toolkit of useful and deadly powers for my team to take advantage of. Members of the Phoenix 5 were able to manhandle the likes of Thor with little effort, and they exhibited phenomenal durability. Phoenix Namor was able to shrug off attacks from a whole team of Avengers, with Scarlet Witch's hex powers being the only effective weapon against him.

Mystique's other powers are less impressive, but she does have decent physical stats and impressive shapeshifting ability, both doubled by MGH. She also has good hand-to-hand and ranged skills, and is an experienced leader and manipulator. Coupled with a few minor items, she is the powerhouse of my team and a force to be reckoned with.

Vanisher: The Assassin

Vanisher is built to be the perfect killer. To start, he's got a battle computer that reads his opponents' abilities and moves, and plays out every move of a fight for him. Second, he has Mento's Helmet, which gives him telepathy to read his opponents' moves and strategies before they can begin them. This combination makes him fantastically precognitive, and he's got the abilities to take advantage. He has double-strength teleportation, which allows him mobility, evasive capabilities, and an excellent way to circumvent his enemies' defenses and navigate any terrain. He has the Ebony Blade, a sword that cuts through anything, which should allow him to kill most everyone he comes across in one or two slashes. He is also equipped with the Staff of One, which lets him add the versatility of magic to his arsenal. His most lethal move, though, is granted by the Pym Particles he carries. These, combined with his teleporting ability, lets him enter anyone's body and slice them apart from the inside out. His trio of T-Spheres give him even more versatility, and grant him the ability to fly, and the Rabbit Talisman which gives him greatly enhanced speed. He's also several Shen Gong Wu to increase his power and versatility even further. He has a vibranium suit and shield, in case he ever does get tagged. And his helmet grants intangibility to make that even less likely, as well as telekinesis to add another tool for his battle computer to play around with. He has all sorts of incredibly lethal options, great speed, incredible combat intelligence, and the durability to shrug off any attack that somehow lands.

Feral: Support

Feral has incredible versatility, thanks to her 10 Magic Rings and the obscene amount of goodies packed into her Prometheus Arsenal. She has an impressive amount of combat skill thanks to the skill discs she can download into her brain, and she has attacks powerful enough to take down Kryptonians. With the Golden Finger to freeze enemies in place, she can hang back and use her variety of ranged attacks to mess up whoever's day she pleases. She also has the Third Arm Sash and Mind-Reader Conch, which gives her permanent mind-reading to help compensate for her targets' attempts at evasion before they make them.

The Battleground

Wolverine's absurd healing factor should allow him to shrug off the effects of radiation without issue, and Mystique's insane resistance to most everything should keep her safe as well. But Bedlam, Vanisher, and Feral don't really have any resistance.

Your Team

Is pretty sweet. This should be fun. I find it interesting how many similar picks we've made, such as the Mala Mala Jongs, T-Spheres, Battle Computers, etc. Also, your Hawkeye's Abilities scans are all from Ultimate Hawkeye rather than 616.

Prep Time

  • Use Crystal Glasses to view the battle and gain knowledge of your team, their abilities, and their equipment.
  • Have Mystique remove my team's morals with her TP
  • TP Link my team and use the Battle Computer and my team's collective strategic experience and brainpower to figure out strategies to fight you.
  • Practice coordinating attacks
  • Have each member with a T-Sphere turn one into a T-Mask
  • Create my Fearsome Four
  • Have Mystique give Sphere of Yun to Feral
  • Have Wolverine give the Tiger Talisman to Vanisher, who will split into Yin and Yang forms.
  • Use Shard of Lightning when the battle is starting

The Battle Plan

Addressing your strategy

So right off the bat my team has more members than yours, you have 11 while I have 13. My team has also been bloodlusted by the Medusa Mask, which is a HUGE benefit to my teams abilities & destructive capabilities.

My team actually has 12 thanks to the Tiger Talisman, and has their morals removed by Mystique. She's pretty ruthless at the best of times, so with the Phoenix possessing her she won't hesitate to do such a thing. Tim Drake is a pure hero, though. Why would he bloodlust his whole team if he knows that it will lead them to kill? That seems far out of character for him.

The radiation around Chemo's Heart is sufficient to kill a normal human in half a second. However, we both have the Shard of Lightning activated, which means we're moving at the speed of light. Using Vanisher's teleportation, he can beat your team to the Heart and use his lightspeed travel velocity to grab it and get out of danger in a matter of nanoseconds, long before the radiation can take effect. The Heart's resistance then gives my team an early advantage.

That is a very impressive feat. But the suit doesn't protect Hawkeye's insides. Vanisher 1 and 2 will use Pym Particles to shrink down to microscopic size and then teleport inside of Hawkeye 1 and 2. They'll then use the Pym Particles to start growing while using the Ebony Blades to slice the Hawkeyes' internal organs into bits, killing them almost immediately.

Isn't Captain Britain's battlesuit technologically based? Because not only can Bedlam destroy technology, Danger can take control of it via technopathy.

The Medusa Mask is a potent weapon indeed, but it's far from unstoppable. First off, Red Robin is still vulnerable to telepathy. I have 3 powerful telepaths on my team, thanks to 2 Mento Helmets and a Phoenix Fragment. I also have Feral, who has a Mandarin Ring that can control minds. Feral also can project total darkness with a ring, enveloping the Medusa Mask and preventing anyone from seeing it. It can also be removed with Telekinesis, which I again have multiple characters capable of doing. Or Vanisher could use the Staff of One to cast a quick "Remove" spell on it.

My team has plenty of counters for this strategy. And Mystique's durability is enough that your team will be hard pressed to even harm her, much less overwhelm her. And while you're trying to do so, I have 11 members who can mess your team up. You have no way of isolating Mystique from the rest of my team, and you can't expect them to stand around and watch while you try to kill her. Your collective team will have to face most of mine if you're trying to overwhelm with sheer brute force.

There are a few problems with your strategy. The first is that I also have a Reversing Mirror on my team, so I'm every bit as capable of deflecting attacks as you are. In fact, I have mine equipped to Vanisher, so with the Tiger Talisman splitting him into two, I should in fact have two Reversing Mirrors. But more importantly, we're both starting the battle with the Shard of Lightning activated, which means all of our characters will spend the first 30 or so relative seconds of the battle fighting and moving at light speed. So electromagnetic pulses won't be able to catch your tech, meaning Bedlam will have no reason to open the battle with an EMP attack. Instead, Danger and Bastion will use their technopathy to take over your team's technology before you can use it against me. Danger has been able to take over Sentinels, the X-Jet, and more, so combined with Bastion's ability to communicate with computer systems, I should be able to nullify most of your technology if not outright turn it against you.

This would be an effective strategy if my team didn't have the Crystal Glasses, Darkhawk's Datasong, Phoenix's ability to just know things, and my various mindreading abilities. As it is, I should have ample warning of this strategy and know not to send my Fearsome Four against yours. I can send my Vanishers, who can use the Ebony Blade and Rabbit Talisman to tele-blitz your Four and slice their hearts out. Or I can have Mystique, Wolverine, or Vanisher use their TK to grab the Tiger Claws from your team, removing the strategy from your list of options. Or I can use the Reversing Mirror to block your attempt at heart-removal, turning it back on your Four. Although your Four would beat mine in a straight confrontation, I have plenty of options to keep that from happening.

  1. Neither of them have displayed this in combat, at least to my knowledge. And both Vanishers have the MGH enhancing their teleporting abilities, as well as the Rabbit Talisman giving them enhanced reflexes and combat speed. DD and IF may be able to detect the teleports, but they still have to be fast enough to react to them.
  2. But since you're surrounded by the Cold Field, it makes your speed enhancements similarly useless. We'll be on an even playing field as far as combat speed is concerned. Or the Staff of One could be used to make the guns Malfunction or Misfire or Power Down or somesuch.
  3. They still have no way of blocking the Ebony Blade, nor do they have magic resistance, so the Staff of One will be able to wreak havoc among them. He can have his pair of T-Spheres blast your trio with energy blasts while he's 'porting around. He can use the Pym Particles and Moby Morpher to disorient your team and evade their attacks.
  4. But with his Battle Computer, he'll be able to use all of his weapons to maximum effect. If he uses the Staff to take out the Cold Guns, then the only one of your team who can break through Vibranium is going to be Iron Fist. But even his flurry of punches took a while to take down Black Panther, who didn't have the advantage of teleporting, a battle computer, a Vibranium Shield, and enhanced combat speed because of the Talismans. One Vanisher would take quite a while to get overwhelmed, and has a very good chance of soloing your trio once he takes out the Cold Guns. But with 2 Vanishers thanks to the Tiger Talisman, your triplet should go down very hard indeed.

  • KILL COUNT - 9

I have two technopaths and Bedlam, so your SPIN Darts and the nanotech they contain shouldn't have any effect on my team even if you were able to tag mine. But I doubt that you'll be able to do so, regardless. Ultimate Wolverine is very fast, and his Symbiote gives normla humans speed in excess of Spider-Man's, so he should be able to dance around the darts with ease. But even if he's tagged, his Old Power Forcefield will tank them without breaking a sweat, keeping him safe from harm. Bedlam's Darkhawk Amulet coats him entirely in armor and gives him enhanced speed, so he should have no trouble dodging or tanking the darts. Mystique's mutant powers aren't a big deal here, but her ridiculous Phoenix durability and molecular TK should let her tank or disable the darts. Vanisher can teleport and has a battle computer and Rabbit Talisman speed. There's really no chance of him getting tagged. Feral's Prometheus Helmet, along with her metahuman speed and reflexes, should let her dodge the darts and possibly have them hit your team instead. She has mind-reading, so she will be able to see where the Hawkeyes are aiming before they fire, and she can make a forcefield with her T-Spheres to block the darts entirely. And Cyborg's battle computer won't let him coach your other characters on exactly where and when to fire. Midnighter has far more experience with the Computer, and even he never does things like that. The darts, while a cool idea, won't really have any relevance against my team even disregarding Bedlam's, Bastion's, and Danger's ability to disable them.

Feral has metahuman reflexes, which Cyborg does not. (At least to my knowledge.) She should be able to win a quick-draw and take him down with one of her many weapons. She could headshot him with a Kryptonian-killing bullet, disrupt his cyborg parts like Prometheus did to Red Tornado, fry his brain with Neural Chaff, or take advantage of the human/cyborg/battle computer combined mind and disrupt him like Prom did to Firestorm. Or she could use her mind-control ring with her Mind-Reader Conch to control Cyborg's mind and turn him against your team.

Against that many people, Bedlam would probably go down pretty easily. I doubt it will come to anything that drastic, though.

  1. My team can redirect them back, disarm you of your mirror with TK, or use technopathy to take out your tech.
  2. So is mine, thanks to Mystique. But Red Robin won't be bloodlusting anyone while in-character, anyway.
  3. Phoenix is plenty powerful to rip the info out of your minds, but the Crystal Glasses make that unnecessary.
  4. I can't dispute this, you do have a small numerical edge.
  5. While your team may have the edge in skill, my team's mutant powers make them more versatile and give me more options for taking you down. And as I explained above, I don't see the SPIN darts being much of an issue for my mutants.

My Strategy

In the opening nanoseconds of the battle, Vanisher will teleport to Chemo's Heart and teleport back to my team with it, long before the radiation can begin to take effect on him. If it does to any damage, Wolverine will use Anti-Venom to heal him right up. Danger and Bastion will use technopathy to take over your team's technology. They'll detonate your T-Spheres, (which explode with huge amounts of force, which should wound your team), and shut down the Iron Spider, Mento's Helmet, and your Cold Guns (and Captain Britain suits, if those are tech. I can't remember. I might be confusing Ultimate and 616 Captain Britain). They'll use your SPIN-Tech Darts, Mandarin Rings, Tactigon, and various of Tim's gadgets against your team.

They'll use your Mento Helmet to begin psionically assaulting your team, backed by my pair of Mento Helmets and my Phoenix Fragment. With your Mento Helmet taken over by my team, your named characters don't have notable psionic resistance, so I should be able to take them down very quickly.

Once I've mind-wiped everyone on your team who's vulnerable to telepathy, I'll use TK to disarm your team of their Emperor Scorpions, Reversing Mirror, and Medusa Mask. Using both of my Emperor Scorpions and with you having none, my team should be able to easily control the rest of your Shen Gong Wu, rendering them useless to your characters, although they cannot be used directly by my team. This control should give me the ability to shut down even your Mala Mala Jongs, thanks to the control I am afforded over your Heart of Jong.

Vanisher 1 and 2 will teleport around the battlefield, using the sensors in their T-Masks to detect your remaining team members and the Ebony Blade to slice them up. This honestly shouldn't be necessary, as my initial assault with technopathy and telepathy should be sufficient to take down your whole team other than Shen Gong Wu, and my Emperor Scorpions give me the ability to control your Shen Gong Wu.

If you have counters to technopathy or telepathy, then my team is more than capable of throwing down in more physical combat, and I'm happy to elaborate on those abilities. But at this point, I don't see why physical combat should even be necessary. This post has taken me too long to get up, so I'll be done for the moment. I look forward to your counters.

EDIT: I originally planned to take over the Iron Spider Suit and T-Spheres and steal some Shen Gong Wu, but I was reminded that isn't allowed in this tournament. I have edited those parts of my strategy to be legal.

@esquire: Not to be too much of a pain but you can't steal your opponent's bought items and use them. You can disarm them but no more than that. Now standard equipment is fair game though.

I'll respond to your comment later tonight, though I'd like to quickly point something out.

In the original post of Dire Drill's tournament I had requested a change from Hawkeye to Ultimate Hawkeye.

I had just forgotten to correct this in the original post, so I believe those Ult. Hawkeye scans are still valid measures of his abilities.

@diredrill: @thetruebarryallen: Crap that was my fault, I forgot to update my master list. I am sorry about the mix up. I'll edit that into the main post so that it hopefully doesn't confuse the judges.

I didn't even notice it until Esquire pointed out I had been using Ultimate Hawkeye Feats, I was all confused because I thought I had Ultimate Hawkeye on my team :P

@thetruebarryallen: Okay, cool. I don't mind you having Ultimate Hawkeye, but you're still mix-and-matching a little bit. Ultimate Hawkeye isn't a fencer, and you've posted scans of 616 Hawkeye's bow and trick arrows.

@diredrill I forgot about that, sorry. I'll edit that part of my post.

The Battleground

Wolverine's absurd healing factor should allow him to shrug off the effects of radiation without issue, and Mystique's insane resistance to most everything should keep her safe as well. But Bedlam, Vanisher, and Feral don't really have any resistance.

This would make Bedlam, Vanisher, and Feral slightly less effective in this match I'd assume. Even though Iron Fist is able to absorb energy even he gets weak with too much radiation, so due to the fact that these 3 don't have any true resistance to the radiation they'll be at a disadvantage.

Sorry for the miscount, forgot that you also had a Tiger Talisman. Are you able to remove morals with Mystique? I don't know if Empaths and Telepaths have the same abilities, I know that telepathy enables some pretty crazy things but didn't know if she'd be able to do the same. Tim Drake IS indeed a pure hero, though due to month long exposure of constantly using the Medusa Mask has given him a craving for emotional manipulation. His morals have kind of been skewed by it.

We do both have Lightspeed Movement, and we both have teleportation abilities. The Golden Tiger Claws would allow for my team to teleport in the same way that Vanisher would, and my team is much more resistant to radiation than yours, especially considering some of my team members are magical entities & machines. If we get into any sort of battle at the Heart I think that your team would die of radiation before my own team. So I do believe that my team would have the edge at the start in terms of getting Chemo's Heart.

My team has essentially the same amount of precognition that you do, so they'd know that this is a possibility and would want make Vanisher one of the prime targets. If you're sending Vanisher to get the heart at the start then he's not going to make it out alive. As I explained earlier my team can also teleport so that's not much of an issue, and he wouldn't be able to withstand the radiation for several seconds, so with Vanisher dead he wouldn't be able to kill Hawkeye 1 & 2, which means these forcefields are still up.

Isn't Captain Britain's battlesuit technologically based? Because not only can Bedlam destroy technology, Danger can take control of it via technopathy.

I was under the impression that it was just a typical sort of suit, maybe @diredrill can clear up what the suit is for us.

My team also has some telepathy on it. Iron Fist has both Mento's Helmet, The Mento Intensifier Ring, and his own Telepathic powers (seen in the mind meld scans). Though it's probably not Phoenix Fragment level it'd be enough to fight off the Mento Helmets. Cyborg also is perfectly capable of hacking, so I don't see why he couldn't render the Mento Helmets and the Rings useless. I'm not going to suggest that he could hack Danger or Bastion or that Danger & Bastion could hack him, because I don't believe that it's possible. Their systems are incredibly powerful and advanced, it wouldn't just be an easy thing to do with a snap of the fingers. The mask can be removed with telekinesis, I won't deny that, but it seems that Mystique is doing tons of work with her telepathy. She's linking your minds together, fighting off the 2 Hawkeye's with Captain Britain Suits on that can clearly resist the Force, while she's mentally assulting my team? It's just hard for me to believe that Mystique, who doesn't seem like a powerful host for the fragment, is going to be able to keep up all of this telepathy without a huge strain or her hurting herself. If Vanisher is killed in the initial brawl for the Heart I wouldn't worry all that much about the Staff of One.

It's true, I don't have any sort of way to isolate Mystique, and your team will most defiantly be attacking mine, but my team is just as capable of holding your team off as your team is at holding my own team off. I was just stating that Mystique would be one of the prime targets in our battle.

Vanisher might be dead at this point, but let's say he isn't. I've got 5 Golden Tiger Claws ( 1 with Tim, 4 with the Fearsome Four ) whereas you've only got 2 Reversing Mirrors. I also have a Reversing Mirror. My team has plenty of ways to redirect your attacks. I wasn't implying that Bedlam would send out an EMP right off the bat, just saying that whenever he does decide to do this it'd be sent back at your team, nullifying all of your own tech and KO-ing both Danger & Bedlam. In terms of Danger & Bastion hacking my tech I'll have Cyborg hack it back, certain items would have priority over others. Whenever an item is in dire need it can be activated. Cyborg isn't a pushover when it comes to dealing with computer systems.

My team also has the Crystal Glasses, giving us Precognition. Cyborg has a battle computer so he can see how certain things will play out in a fight. You've got 2 Vanishers, ( if they're not dead at this point ), and I've got 4 Mala Mala Jong & Tim also has a pair of Golden Tiger Claws & Cyborg can Boom Tube to teleport. Cyborg also has the Shard of Lightning so he can blitz pretty quickly too. In the end I have more people that are able to tele-blitz than you do, so I do believe that my Mala Mala Jong would still be standing in a fight against your own, even with you and your attempts to teleblitz. Daredevil is also going to be with my Mala Mala Jong ( he's the one controlling them with his Emperor Scorpion ) and he can sense porters due to a change in the atmosphere, he could then just tell all the Mala Mala Jong on my team to teleport away from the area so that we'd end up in some sort of crazy teleporting circle until someone becomes exhausted.

They have displayed this ability in combat, well, Iron Fist has. He was able to tag Nightcrawler while fighting Wolverine & Colossus by sensing where he was teleporting to next. Iron Fist can increase his own speeds via Chi & DD has the Rabbit Talisman as well as being invisible. I don't see reacting to Vanisher as being too much of a problem.

  2. But since you're surrounded by the Cold Field, it makes your speed enhancements similarly useless. We'll be on an even playing field as far as combat speed is concerned. Or the Staff of One could be used to make the guns Malfunction or Misfire or Power Down or somesuch.

I don't see how my own speed enhancements are useless. The Cold Field isn't stuck in a stationary location, it'd be surrounding my team, it's moving with them. They wouldn't run right through it. Also, if you make them malfunction or shut down then Cyborg can just power them back on. Not that much of an issue.

My entire team can be porting around via Boom Tubes & Tiger Claws. We wouldn't be standing still while we get attacked, they'd be dodging and fighting right back. Cyborg is perfectly capable of locking onto a target with his Cybernetic ehancements and the Tactigon is capable of becoming any weapon needed for the situation at hand. My team would be wrecking just as much havoc as your own, and we have more marksmen on the team.

The Battle Computer becomes less & less effective with the more target's that it's trying to predict. Iron Fist was able to break through the Vibranium and that was without any of the equipment that he currently possess. The Cold Field would slow Vanisher down, Daredevil & Iron Fist can sense teleports, and Tim is an experienced combatant. I don't think that 2 Vanishers could beat Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Tim with all of their own enhancements and equipment, it just doesn't seem all that logical. Vanisher's hands are full with the Staff, The Sword, and The Shield, I don't know exactly how he's holding all of this stuff in all honesty.

Earlier I responded at how Danger & Bastion, your technopaths, aren't an issue. They've been rendered useless, along with all of your own tech through Bedlams EMPS. Cyborg can even prevent the hacking of some items allowing their use to be fulfilled. Wolverine is incredibly fast, his healing factor is ridiculous, and he's a force to be reckoned with. Though Ultimate Hawkeye has incredible accuracy feats. He could also be frozen by the Cold Guns that they're carrying to put him in place. If the Old Power Force Field ends up being the reason why the darts can't get through to him then we skip that step and just turn him into a solid block of sapphire due to the Sapphire Dragon.

Cyborg has the Shard of Lightning. If it comes down to any sort of quick draw Cyborg would win that. He's also able to lock directly onto Feral, so hitting her shouldn't be much of a problem. The headshot wouldn't happen due to Cyborgs speed & reflexes, at this point he'd be moving faster than Feral & she is still sensitive to the Sound Cannon. His brain wouldn't be fried with the Neural Chaff, his concentration would be thrown off. That would just disrupt his human brain, not his computer functions. He'd still be in this fight. I don't really understand what you're saying with the Firestorm bit, could you provide scans of this please? In terms of reading his mind it'd be moving so fast that I don't think Mind Control is an option at this point.

Against that many people, Bedlam would probably go down pretty easily. I doubt it will come to anything that drastic, though.

I don't see much of anything to respond to here, you accepted that if Bedlam was confronted with large numbers he'd go down.

  1. My team can redirect them back, disarm you of your mirror with TK, or use technopathy to take out your tech.

My team can continue to redirect them back. Technopathy wouldn't do anything against the Shen-Gong Wu due to the fact that they're magical, not technological, and my team does have TK abilities. Iron Fist is a force to be reckoned with due to all of his TK equipment & natural abilities.

  2. So is mine, thanks to Mystique. But Red Robin won't be bloodlusting anyone while in-character, anyway.

It'd be in-character for someone whose grown dependent on feeding off of the emotions of others.

  3. Phoenix is plenty powerful to rip the info out of your minds, but the Crystal Glasses make that unnecessary.

Playing the Precognition war seems silly at this point, we both know what we're going against before we go against it due to our combinations in items, it's just how we use that information that matters.

  4. I can't dispute this, you do have a small numerical edge.

Though you do have a member that I counted out, I'm still at the slight numerical edge.

  5. While your team may have the edge in skill, my team's mutant powers make them more versatile and give me more options for taking you down. And as I explained above, I don't see the SPIN darts being much of an issue for my mutants.

SPIN darts are still another item that your team would have to dodge while they're fighting my team. Cyborg's own technological abilities can combat Bastion & Danger, and the fact that we can redirect those EMP's makes your tech a moot point. I think the darts are still a pretty large issue for your mutants.

My team is fully capable of teleportation. Cyborg can teleport groups with his Boom Tubes, Tim has Golden Tiger Claws, The Fearsome Four also has 4 Golden Tiger Claws. We can teleport at the same speed that you can, an in greater numbers. Vanisher wouldn't survive that trip and my team would gain the heart. Cyborg could make your T-Spheres explode the same way you can make mine explode, so we'd just both be left without T-Spheres. The Iron Spider would be resistant to Technopathy once it uses the Denshi bunny to turn into a being of pure electrical energy, so that's not a big problem, and if you shut down my items then Cyborg would just turn them right back on. I'm not going to bother responding to you turning my items against my team due to the fact that DireDrill stated you can't use my items against me.

They'll use your Mento Helmet to begin psionically assaulting your team, backed by my pair of Mento Helmets and my Phoenix Fragment. With your Mento Helmet taken over by my team, your named characters don't have notable psionic resistance, so I should be able to take them down very quickly.

Iron Fist has psionic resistance which is enhanced due to Mento's Helmet & the Mento Intensifier Ring. My team wouldn't just fall prey to a TK assault, besides, Mystique is our prime target & should go down early in the fight, preventing any heavy TK assaults.

You can't use your Emperor Scorpions to control my Shen Gong Wu & use them against me. I believe this was stated by Diredrill in my purchase of the Shen Gong Wu. This means that my Mala Mala Jong's, Sweet Baby Among Us, and Sapphire Dragon are still kicking and ready to combat your team.

I've got T-Masks on my own team members too. So I don't know how well you're going to sense them. You will not be shutting down my Shen Gong Wu or using them against me. This was stated in the rules about Shen Gong Wu. My team has ways to go against your Telepathy & Technopathy as stated various times throughout this post. I see no reason to explain that again.

I responded with my counters to Technopathy & Telepathy. It looks like it's time for some physical combat!

EDIT: I originally planned to take over the Iron Spider Suit and T-Spheres and steal some Shen Gong Wu, but I was reminded that isn't allowed in this tournament. I have edited those parts of my strategy to be legal.

I've responded to your post with Bold Print. Hopefully everything I've said is clear, though if something doesn't make sense just ask me about it and I'd love to explain with more detail.

@thetruebarryallen: The notification system being borked for a while has made me more cautious of the notification system so I am sticking to using PMs if it is important.

Alright, here's how it goes down.

TTBA wins because he got 2 replies to Esquire's 1.

...really, unless the debate starts to get to the point where it goes in circles, whoever goes last wins (this is why LD bans bringing up new arguments in your last posts...damn slimers).

There's not much to it other than 'I saw counters' and 'I didn't see any reason to doubt those counters'.

But for the sake of it, lemme go through a step-by-step basis (lol get it?)

1) Mostly irrelevant, but I give it to Esquire. I know the Golden Tiger Claws make a portal which you step through, and that Vanisher just teleports, so Esquire gets this.

2) Vanisher doesn't die at chemo's heart, so I give this one to Esquire.

3) I needed to see a connection between Golden Tiger Claws and reversing EMP blasts back at people, which I didn't here. Also, I didn't see anything that made me think Cyborg>Danger+Bedlam so I had to go with numbers here, and gave it to Esquire.

4-8) They go to TTBA...mostly because I didn't see any counters whatsoever. And these points are >>> more important than 1-3 really.

Soooo yeah vote goes to @thetruebarryallen.

Erm, right. Great arguments from Mr. Esquire and all, but in the end @DaTrueBerryAlien wins. This debate felt sorta incomplete >.<

@diredrill Apologies for not getting my last post up. I had most of a massive one done, and then crises and other such fun stuff happened. Although it looks like he will win in votes regardless, I'd like to concede to TheTrueBarryAllen since I've been unable to give him the debate he deserves.
