Name a character from Comics, Mangas, Animes, Movies, TV Series, Novels, Books, Video Games, who you think is the best swordsman of all time. No Cosmic Beings or Entities. Also when I say swordsman, I don't literally mean exclude women. Swordsman can be either male or female.
Best Swordsman In Fiction
Yeah that's swordswoman and markswoman and blah, blah. People should really get on with those terms, but I get the title, it's decently rare anywayz.
I don't think anyone can know who the best swordsman is, there are verses and characters not even one viner knows of and if they do, well you get it. And OP, you need to clear up that you mean actual swordsmanship skill strictly, and not other abilities or stats etc. on the equation.
I'll nominate Ra's Al Ghul for a start.
himura kenshin.
Samurai Jack.
Afro Samurai.
and if were talking books too, then ill add in Dassem Ultor from the Malazan book of the fallen. dude was a beast with blades. Took on gods with literally 300k years of training and combat experience, has never lost a fight and essentially killed so many people he became the knight of the god of death himself. and this was before he ascended to a god.
Aizen Sasuke
lol not even close
I am fairly sure this has been asked in the off topic forum where it belongs.

From best to worst:
1) Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni (Bleach)
2) Wonder Woman (DC)
3) Rurouni Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin)
4) Teresa (Claymore)
5) Mihawk (One Piece)
6) Sephiroth (Final Fantasy)
@thenewguysnm1: @valor_175: hype wise not feats he should be considered far more skilled than the rest of them
Either Sasaki or genderbent Musashi (gotta love Fate), though Sasaki actually has feats so he's above until Musashi does something instead of just having a bunch of statements (even if Musashi should be above Sasaki for obvious reasons).
Probably Vergil when it comes to straight up swordplay and skill.

Musashi's in the recent FGO chapter and I'm pretty sure she beats Sasaki at the end though I can't say if there was context or not.
@valor_175: not unless i say so:)
Afro Samurai is pretty neat.
@highaccuser: I play on NA servers so the only things I know of EoR is that the old man is unfair, Shirou is cool, and Crimson Archer is hot. Either way, Musashi should be above Sasaki (especially considering servant Sasaki isn't the real one) so it wouldn't surprise me.

I switched to Japanese. Being two years behind on content is too damn much. I just have to find translations/summaries.
Technically servant Sasaki isn't the one Musashi fought in life, though I'm not sure who appears in EoR.
Best swordsman by how? By skill only? its really a vague measurement. With the different kind of powers it is hard to say who is best. Less the powers, more it comes with the skill.
So I just say some of my favorites like, Kenshin, Mugen and Jin, Nanashi and Luo-Lang, Afro Samurai, Guts and Samurai Jack
