@theawesome1: although he seems like a young idiot, he is actually pretty good when in full control. His strength as diamondhead was enough to put vilgax down, who apprently went from planet to planet beating on it's mightiest warriors. It was implied once ben got one of his original aliens back that he had no problem beating him due to his practice and strength increase the older he got.

I think the number of instant changes plus power combinations would overwhelm Grim

I wish people would just narrow down/be specific regarding what aliens Ben can turn into. He's got over dozens of unique aliens with no guarantee he'll turn into the one or two needed to take down an opponent he knows nothing about.

In short, all Ben 10 threads are gambles.

By looking at The Thing, you can immediately tell he is strong and durable.

But depending on the opponent, you're right, some ben 10 threads are gamble. But not this one

@theawesome1: And that knowledge isn't really useful without knowing exactly how strong and durable he is to determine whether he would need Four Arms or Way Big. Hell for all Ben knows, Thing could have the same powers as Gravattack and he would likely pick his alien with that in mind. Half of Ben's aliens look like they're "strong and durable" but most of them are capable of much more than that. It's still not clear how Ben would react to him at first glance.

This is true but with master code unlocked it's not much of a problem. If he underestimates the Thing he can easily change to adjust, this is what makes Ben dangerous, he's too versatile for anyone(including Batman).

Ben is being severely underestimated....there are MANY aliens that could take this with ease.
