Hakai still works on immortals just fine, Beerus said he can't kill them (specifically the Super Shenron immortality) in the manga because they (Zamasu) can regenerate from it. Goku used Hakai on Zamasu on panel and erased most of him just fine even though Beerus said he wouldn't be able to destroy Zamasu, its evident he was referring to his regeneration (which Zamasu instantly regenerated from Hakai), not the fact that it doesn't actually work on immortals, which he never stated.
Zamasu's immortality and Aizen's aren't the same. Hakai can erase spirits from existence, so it should work on Aizen. It would be one thing if Aizen has shown resistance to complete existence erasure, but he hasn't.

@universenumber1: He regenerated almost instantly afterwards, grabbing Mai was just out of fear he would have survived regardless. In a sense it worked, but he would've just came back, hence why Beerus was saying he can't destroy immortals (basically if you can regenerate from having your soul destroyed Hakai is rendered useless).

Does this mean it won't work on Aizen because Aizen can regenerate from his soul?
I wouldn't call it wank rather just a misinterpretation/headcanon of what the final Getsuga Tenshou did, but yeah as far as I remember from reading the manga, nothing inherently stated or suggested his soul was erased his existence.

This. Besides I was responding to a comment that was saying it bypasses/kills immortals and was using Zamasu as an example.
@gangorca: Only ones that are immortal by the wish of Grand Shenron, multi universal reality-warping entity, otherwise it can erase ghosts that are immortal, normal immortality is no problem

That much is true. I also think anime Beerus is more hax than manga Beerus in that regard. I don't even think anime Beerus has that immortality restriction.
aizen ability pool is much better and due to the hyogoku and equal stats beerus cant kill him, Hyogoku regenerate aizen from literally being erased from existence and having his soul destroyed by Muugetsu.
even when Goku or Co dies there soul is not damage at all.
Hakai was overpowered by Frieza and Goku and many others so while powerful is also based on Power tier between fighters.
Beerus erasing Zamasu out of existence is not a feat on hakai but a feat on how much stronger Beerus was when compare to Zamasu who could only match SSj2 Goku which is practically fodder.

Aizen being a 'trascendent' 'god' is literally the definition of hyperbole. He is just a very powerful soul reaper like any other transcendent in the series.
Mugetsu, Sogyoku are not existence erasure and neither is anything that Yhwach did to him.
I'd ask you to provide evidence, but as per you M.O. you won't present any actual evidence. Not that you could anyway.
OT: Beerus sees through KS with UI and erases him with Hakai.
Aizen should win in a equal stats fight. Aizen was confirmed unkillable by soul society through any means which should include Yama's existence erasure bankai, plus Aizen was destroyed completly by mugetsu on the physical and soul/ spiritual level and still managed to regen back due to hogyoukou having low godly regen/ immortality. Besides that Aizen has KS which I don't think Beerus in canon can counter, no counter to attacks that affect the soul, kido attacks, and possibly reactive evolution if he still has that and it still works. The only way Beerus wins is possibly via sealing but the sealing technique is never shown on screen so I don't know if it would work for sure and even then Aizen has resisted sealing before.
Beerus might win. Hakai can't kill immortals based on manga and implied in anime. But he can nullify energy so if reiatsu is energy it can be nullified thus making it a physical battle and since Beerus does have UI but not mastered he could win. And if not he can seal Aizen like he did Old Kai. And not sure illusions works on hakaishin if so then Aizen wins.
