Gohan is intended to be the strongest but Black Freiza is the next big foe Goku and Vegeta are training for so I can’t imagine it being something Gohan wins alone. All things considered it should be a good fight as far as their hype goes, but I expect Freiza to be stronger

Damn, the bar is set very high. Gohan is against an opponent who is arguably the strongest mortal in the universe - Black Frieza is approximately on par or even superior to peak MUI Goku based on his feats alone, and inference and scaling on his potential points to a beyond astronomical power growth from his golden form. This puts him far beyond beings like Jiren, Beerus and probably even Moro-73.

If Gohan is actually better than this guy, then he is near untouchable by anyone who are not angelic entities. He will be the strongest mortal in the universe.

@lilgodperv: Nah, he didn't beat Goku's strongest form. He beat TUI Goku, which is a feat that Moro-73 replicated to a slightly lesser degree.

I'm not convinced Gohan could replicate what Frieza did though.

EDIT: I saw your quote on the previous thread that Taken locked, I'd take it with a grain of salt because Goku also said something similar about Android 17 at the end of the ToP manga, but we know the limitations of his abilities and that he definitely isn't MSSB level.

Also have to bear in mind that there is a massive power difference between the Z fighters (since its Goku and co.), so being on par with the group doesn't necessarily mean that he is up there with the strongest members within the group - explains perfectly why he isn't on the same league as Beast Gohan, someone who is part of Goku and co, for example.
