Asta's whole nullification is a huge NLF

Scans of him negating magic power on anyone as strong as the FT side then you can argue.

Also Asta doesn't have the AP to even scratch Zeref, so his immortality isn't needed

Negating magic because you're ability is "Anti Magic" isn't a NLF it still has limits. Magic just isn't one of them.

Secondly, I know very well his anti-magic can negate magic, but it's a NLF to say he can negate all forms of magic even ones that vastly surpass him in power like the FT team does.

Except they are by a hilarious margin. This Fairy tail team are in a solid island - large island lvl range by feats and scaling. BC team is small city by feats and you can try and upscale them to mountain at most. Even though they lack mountain lvl feats. No magic Asta has failed to negate? Against Licht? Needed to be saved by his friends by a magical attack by possessed Gauche, got bullied by Dante until he went berserk. If he could negate all magic no matter the type or power difference, shit like this wouldn't be happening.

He didn't use Dimension Slash, he embedded the katana with his Anti Magic to nullify Dante's regeneration, hence why the katana has that worn, rusted look. Asta can't use magic, as it's been established that he doesn't have the mana to do so. Dimension Slash is a magic attack that comes from Yami's Dark Magic grimoire, in which he uses it to channel its power into his katana.

But it doesn't really matter anyways cause we've seen him straight up killed people that are immortal, primarily due to his Anti Magic and demonic abilities.

I know Asta can't use magic but he can barrow other people's magic he has done this before. And while it wasn't stated that he did use DS, it's heavily implied.

This happens with every weapon Asta gains and uses, it turns all dirty looking and glows black whenever he embeds it with his Anti Magic. You can even see this in later chapters where Liebe uses all of Asta's weapons from his grimoire and they're all black and Asta is left to fight with Yami's katana, during which he doesn't use any magic attacks with it.

It doesn't make sense for him to be able to borrow people's magic when he can't use magic to begin with.

He can barrow magic though, and Asta should have zero problems killing a magic based immortal because he's done it before. I posted scans of Dante's insane regen and he still has a scar from Asta.

@decaffeinated: That's a particular sword he using in those scans, which is the Demon-Dweller. It lets him absorb other spells and launch it back at his opponents. But Yami's katana doesn't do that, it's just a regular sword.

So yes, he can borrow magic from others, but not with Yami's katana.

Anti-Magic has a limit, it can only negate a proportional amount of Magic. It was clearly shown in the Zagred fight.

@yamatama: Saying that Black Clover is City level is an insane low ball. Vanica detonating a small portion of her Demonic Mana that she gave her disciples was enough to cover a large portion of the Heart Kingdom. One of the explosions completely engulfed the mountain where the capital of the country resides.

Before you say that these explosions didn't do a lot of damage as we can see in the small right side panels, keep in mind that these explosions were blocked by Noele & Company

I might as well say this Asta has Causality manipulation where he sucks up magic spells with his demon destroyer sword he erases the effects of the spell-like it never happen in the first place

By severing the cause and effect relationship

So maybe he can suck up Zeref's curse and erase the effects from him before you call it an NLF he can only do it to magic and if you have Resistance to Causality manipulation it won't work and Asta has nullified curses before just saying.

Exactly blocked, not weakened by them but blocked to save the citizens. Nothing says they suppressed a portion of the power to weaken the explosion and again doesn't matter since it's not mountain lvl either way you look at it.

@yamatama: Litch litteraly used a spell that targeted everyone in the clover kingdom (which is a country) and Julius froze the attack again across the entire kingdom.

This plus the attacks you're ignoring show that they have plenty of power. It gets explained why they didn't do much damage.... Because people stopped it, and that's a feat for them.

Zeref's immortality comes from a curse. He is gifted the ability to use Ankhseram's Black magic bcs of the Curse. Secondly, power negation and absorption also exist within the verse and would have failed against his curse as well. Anti-magic ain't doing squat to Zeref.

@jdogg: It comes from magic, and he's never faced Anti Magic which has been shown working multiple times on immortal.

@decaffeinated: It does in fact not come from magic since he can use it without magic power in the first place. His immortality cannot be bypassed by even power negation which is far better than just negating the effects of magic since it negates the power itself. Anti magic is baby magic to Zeref and his curse.
