Both are planet level from what I can recall, though I think Bayo is on the higher end of it.

Bayo is faster, so more times than not, she's winning.

Hate to pick against Samus, but Bayonetta likely takes it.

I hear crazy things about Bayonetta's physicals and her summons, but other than that, I don't know.

I wonder if Samus would be immune to witch time, since the gravity suit defends her from Nightmare's gravity wells at incredibly close ranges, and the suit in general deals with a bunch of weird space-time manipulation stuff from the Ing, Phantoon, and Phazon entities. Then again, the slow beam works on the giant Samus in Federation Force, though that Samus doesn't have the gravity suit.

This fight is not as one sided as the Bayonetta fans are making it out to be Samus definitely has the fire power to beat Bayonetta Samus's Dark beam and it's

Charge Combo Darkburst could easily destroy Bayonetta for those who don't know what the dark beam is and what it's Darkburst attack does the dark beam is a weapon that uses dark energy as it's ammo and Darkburst is a massive ball of dark energy shot out of the dark beam cannon that explodes and then collapses into a quantum singularity that instantaneously sucks in all of the enemies near it completely ripping them apart.

How is Samus gonna tag her from Purgatorio ?

@davidharewood14: Nope. Don't think it would matter in this case. She can tag things outside of her dimension. That should be enough to say she can tag bayo from another dimension. Plus she's tagged "ghost" the combination of said facts should definitely give her enough evidence of tagging bayo.

Ok but can Samus counter time manipulation and technopathy ( Bayonetta has technopathical feats ) ? + her demons are not a joke

@davidharewood14: idk. Ag thinks her gravity suit could but both they and j are unsure on the fact. She does have her own time slow ability at this point, though much more limited that should counter it for several seconds. Her technopathy shouldn't work. Samus's suit is connected to her nerves and what not, plus is partially organic. And I agree her demons aren't no joke.

She constantly can avoid it via bats too. + her bfring techniques like Paradise or Inferno banishment i wouldn't underestimate too. About time manipulation she in fight against Sapienta can use several time slows. Luke and small Cereza were already frozen in time when Bayonetta was fighting ( without witch time ). Bayo can manipulate time as she pleases. She even can freeze light speed object like satelite laser during the fight against Father Balder

@davidharewood14: I'd say offensively they're pretty evenly matched(though imo Samus has the upper hand). Though bayonetta does have some dope hax like teleportation and time manipulation. Samus has basic barriers and large scale AoE attacks. She also has a self revival ability. That being said I have no input on who wins. I made the thread

Bayonetta stomps, she’s high tier all around (strength, durability, speed, hax, etc)

Samus requires some intense scaling to be on Bayonettas level. At best she's large building to city block level in destructive ability.

Samus's natural body is slightly below Spider Man level according to manga feats, and a lot of the statements from the game are just that, statements. She's basically fighting on a small planetoid the whole time and nothing she does can do more than destroy a room for the first few games.
