Battle of the Messiahs: The Luminary (Dragon Quest 11) vs Makoto Yuki (Persona 3) vs Shulk (Xenoblade Chronicles)

In every JRPG franchise, there are characters that are chosen to set their world right, and there are those that are arguably messiahs. Whether you are a reincarnation of a legendary hero, someone who was gifted with the personification of death or being chosen as a vessel for a corrupt god. Who wins?

The Rules

Battle takes place on Gaur Plains

Round 1: The Luminary starts off with his starting equipment, Makoto Yuki uses Orpheus only, Shulk starts off with his starting equipment including the base Monado

Round 2: Act 2 Luminary is equipped with the best equipment possible up to his fight against Mordegon. Makoto Yuki can use Personas that aren't the Ultimates of each arcana. Mid-game Shulk.

Round 3: Everyone is at their absolute best with the best equipment. End game.

Bonus round: All three vs the Demi-Fiend

Persona is one of the best and most successful franchises of all time and every main Persona game has taken multiple awards with Persona 5 being awarded as the best JRPG of the decade alongside with the various beautiful anime series and movies of the Persona franchise so Makoto Yuki would most likely win this.
