Any version would decimate Batman, Eggman already had factories building death machines all over the world, his only opposition is a bunch of speedsters, a couple of powerhouses and time manipulating bastards. Batman would need a lot of prep to take him on. And it wouldn't be too easy to hack his systems either. Dear god if we are talking Archie especially????? It's not even a fight...... And in a random encounter, in any of Eggman's mechs, Batman would have no way of taking him on. His mechs and machines are designed to take down speedsters like Sonic(Anywhere between supersonic to high hypersonic speeds on the regular.) And also all he would have to do is order Metal Sonic to go murder him and that would be the end of it.
