Cyclops wins.

Batman isn’t going to be able to evade Cyclops’ concussive blasts long enough to get Cyclops. One blast should put Batman down.

Round 2

Batman decimates Cyclops.

Batman’s superior hand to hand skills are going to over -whelm Cyclops pretty fast. He (Batman) puts Cyclops down in under 30 seconds in an easy fight.

Round 3

Batman would most likely decimate Cyclops here too.

Cyclops especially isn’t the tactician or preparation master Batman is in fights. If Cyclops can acquire the X-men’s/Beast’s help in preparation, I’d say the odds are closer, though Batman still wins 7.5/10. If Cyclops cannot acquire any help, Batman wins 8/10.

@Daaerk: Agreed, but if Cyclops is able to get aid off of all the X-men, I think it should be more like :

Cyclops 6.5/10. or at least 5.5/10 considering the abilities of the X-men.....

Cyclops rd 1. Bats rd 2. Cyclops rd 3.

If the X-men are allowed to join the fight, then Batman looses badly unless Batman expects them. Though in this battle I don’t think the other X-men are allowed to participate, it’s only Cyclops fighting this battle.

You know if cyclops can call the x-men (is he even currently an x-men? I thought he was a brother hood member...) then batman can call the bat-family and justice league...Usually prep battles are one on one unless stated otherwise.

The OP lists them prepping. It mentions nothing about the other X-Men at all. While Cyclops is one of Marvel's greatest tacticians, he is preparing on his own and against someone equal to his tactical, if not superior, genius and Batman is far stronger in a general area with preparation. Cyclops isn't close to Batman's knowledge of science and building things. He could come up with a particularly mean strategy, but Bruce trumps him as far as prepping for a fight goes.

Yes he is. The X-Men are basically two branches now with Wolverine's side and Cyclops's side. The brotherhood ordeal is just how his X-men faction is being similarly portrayed.

I don't think he is taking round 1. Cyclops has some pretty good area of effect and some good accuracy to go along with it. Assuming cyclops is in control of his abilities any ways...

Batman slaughters round 2,3 no doubt.

Cyclops probably takes Round 1 - random encounter w/ no knowledge of Cyc's powers means Batman would likely get tagged quick, and that would be a KO.

Round 2 and 3 Bats takes it

Batman probably cannot tag Cyclops with a batarang before Cyclops can tag Batman with an optic blast......but it's close. Scott wins 7/10

I haven't seen Scott consistently benching half a ton, taking on martial arts masters and winning, consistently bullet dodging and disappearing in plain sight on people with super senses and speed or ending a fight with the tips of his fingers. We know where this is going, Bruce wins 9/10

Prep? For a WEEK? Naw Man.......... naw. The Insider Suit would be so useful against Scott, even if it is overrated, when it is applied against the right opponent, it lives up to the hype. It could absorb Cyclops's optic beams and convert it into energy with which Batman can use to bust a move on Scotty. Batman wins obviously 10/10. Like GS said, a mean strategy can only go so far against a technical and tactical genius.

I say round 1 cylops has a bit of a higher chance . round t2 batman bests Cyclops . and round 3 he beats Cyclops all hands down . batman is more capable then Cyclops in physical skills and is far more skiled at fighting then anyone cyclops has taken.

No reason to sandbag Scott's opponents, they're plenty impressive.

true on some but I seem to remember Spiderman having won the majority of the battles they had. and ever since wolverine become calmer and less aggressive he had matched scott on occasion. and do you have scans of him beating quicksilver and northstar . and what I meant by his impressive fighting skills is that he is a normal human compared to most beings Cyclops fought. and I didn't say batman would automatically win I just see that there is always a chance for winning .and I also said Cyclops has a higher chance of winning round 1.

and what about the times batman has taken on beings more dangerous then Cyclops and was in worse predictements.. though I could be mistaking.

I can understand an argument for Cyclops winning round 3, and I say he wins round 1, but how on Earth does he take round 2?

Well theirs been threads where everyone agreed Thor would win and only one other person agreed the other character would win. So its not the first time this has happened either. Plus you replied to a 2 day old post. I dont think it should be that big of a deal.

maybe he was drunk..you would have to be drunk to think that Cyclops beats bats in a no powers fight

@hyperbeing: I would put Spider-Man over Scott on a regular basis so who wins isn't exactly useful. But you can't compare Spider-Man to Batman as Spider-Man is vastly faster than Batman. Wolverine also has some better speed feats than Batman IMO. My point is, Cyclops has been able to tag characters with enhanced-superhuman speed and agility before. Quicksilver was more or less an intuition shot. Scott does have his spatial awareness that allows him to calculate angles and such in a mere thought allowing ridiculous bank shots.

And fighting bigger threats isn't necessary. ABC logic as a whole isn't the best thing to use. Comparing characters should only be used when the feats technically apply. Such as what I said about him tagging Northstar or Wolverine so he can tag Batman cause Batman isn't faster than either. Saying something like Batman faced Superman so Cyclops can't beat him would be irrelevant as it doesn't fit because Bruce has lost to and been damaged to far less than Superman (and he can't beat Superman under normal conditions anyway. That would be silly to think so.) My point is, comparing the necessary elements. Cyclops has tagged faster opponents than Batman and his blasts have hurt even brick characters. Those are the necessary points I'm building my case off of.
