I've been trying to read up on Midnighter to learn more about him.
Who wins?
Yes. His physical attributes exceed both of them. He would know how to beat them just before the fight starts. His brain is able to come up with a million battle scenarios. He would take out Black Panther first. Wolverine would go next. Though, Midnighter wouldn't effectively kill Wolverine for good, but he could easily knock him out.
Static Shock says:
"Team 1. Midnighter would easily do it on his own. "
He can take on BOTH Wolverine and Black Panther?
How fast is Midnighter? And can he kill Wolverine, and do more damage than his regen can handle?

Haha so I guess batman would just sit there and do noting. Haha
He wouldn't have trouble beating Batman either would he? haha
Is it to the death? with the type of fighters you got, I would assume so. Is it possible for M to kill Wolvy then?
If not for the implants I would have gone with Wolverine and T'Challa but what can you do to someone who already knows how to beat you.
Midnighter can only beat someone if there is a way for him to beat them, is there a way for Midnighter to kill Wolvy?
Super-Buster says:

He doesn't have to kill him to beat him.
Super-Buster says:
"Depends on the rules of the fight."
Beat is enough. Killing Wolverine, is pretty tough :P
Super-Buster says:

You never have to kill you opponent to win unless the OP says fight to the death.
Is that rule on ComicVine? Regardless, MotoSteel says that Midnighter only has to beat Wolverine, not kill him, so I give this fight to Batman and Midnighter.
Members of The Authority all have access to Door technology from The Carrier. It allows them to open portals to any place on or around Earth as well as alternate dimensions. Midnighter could toss Wolverine through a portal and send him to space, the planet's core, or somewhere else.

Also of note, Batman and the entire JLA have access to this technology now as well, it's also been enhanced by Kryptonian tech, though what that means hasn't been explained fully yet

I'm so mad off this.
Right, forgot about the doors, can the doors port him into something solid like the earth's core? Could it port him to a black hole? How far away from the Earth can a door port him?

Yeah, yeah, I think that's garbage. I hate the idea of DC cannabilizing the WSU for parts. I've seen one panel where they mentioned it (you posted it I think, could you put it up again?), but I don't recall seeing them use it, and definitely not with the regularity of The Authority or even Midnighter.

yeah... i'll dig it out again
think it was in the latest Adventures of Superman, or one or two issues back...

I don't see why it couldn't put him somewhere solid. The Carrier (the ship the Doors come from basically) exists on all points of the Earth simultaneously, that's not limited to open air. And how far does he need to go? Is space not enough to kill Wolverine if he's left out there? I really don't think a black hole is necessary.

Issue?
I just found it. 674. Ugh, it's an abomination. The "JLA's" Door technology? Thieves. And Superman improved it of course. DC just has to make sure everyone knows who's the best. Disgusting. I usually don't care about things like this, but it actually makes me mad. I almost feel like adopting your practice of spitting whenever I think about it. I hope Superman gets raped in Dreamwar. First by The Authority, then by Majestic, then by Spartan, then by whoever else comes next. Maybe Nemesis will do him like she did Minotaur, first castrate him then put indestructible swords through his head and out his eyes.
owch...
man, you're dark and protective of Wildstorm lol
god help me, i agree though...
if they were going to give the JLA "Door" technology, then they should have had an amazing crossover event and actually have then JLA and Authority teaming up and sharing stuff like that.
they could have even written in the weird 'multiverse' stuff and make it so that the Kryptonians were the ones that 'enhanced' Jack Hawksmoor and have had Superman apologizing to Jack throughout the entire arc lol
M
I agree with the big 2 ripping off smaller fish. Each universe needs to be concerned with itself rather than keeping up with the Jones's.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the WSU got some credit (they blatantly stole tech from another universe and acted like it was nothing so no one who doesn't already know about The Authority would think anything of it), or if they actually worked for it (Door technology has been copied before, in Team Achilles they duplicated it, but they tied that into their story and made it interesting and important, they didn't just turn The Authority's technology into a silly toy; also, the JLA already has teleportation technology, did they need to bring in Doors just to make them look insignificant?), or if DC owning WSU didn't only result in gains for DC and losses for WS.
Your idea sounds good. These companies now exist in the same universe (or multiverse, whatever) so it's not like it would be impossible for them to have so the technology is shared in a way that acknowledges the existence of the WSU instead of just taking something from it and claiming it as their own and acting like this thing is totally new.
As for the Hawksmoor thing, I like the future-humans origin that he has. I'm pretty sure it's going to be brought up in his series.

If the doors can port people inside of solid stuff then this thread should be over. I only mentioned the distance from the earth because the earth's gravity could pull wolverine back down to earth where he could revive.
Well I'm just generally mad right now but I'm tired of hearing about Wolverine surviving anything and everything. Get that #### outta here.
Super-Buster says:
"Haha, how do you think people feel about Midnighter?"
I actually like Midnighter more now.He can't survive any and everything he's just to much for alot of heroes. There is people he can't beat Just like Wolverine.Fanboys kill it for everyone.Wolverine isn't invincible...he is capable of losing people just cant interpret what they read well.
Super-Buster says:
"Haha, how do you think people feel about Midnighter?"
Midnighter doesn't come back from being burned down to bone, or somehow walk out of vats of molten metal even though he has no muscles or tendons. It also helps that he's not in about 12 books a month and being rammed down everyone's throat. Obscurity makes it easier, a lot less Midnighter fans around to get on everyone's nerves. For every one person that's heard about Midnighter, there are probably about five thousand people who know of Wolverine.
To each his own I guess. I don't have anything against Midnighter so I'm not going to argue with you.
