Kenpachi should still take it, while restrained/eyepatch in shikai he has Country Level AP/DC, Shikai as seen by Shunsui should be a 5-10x multiplier at least for the stronger Shinigami, Shunsui in base was equal to base Stark and he was still equal with Resurrection as well.

Base Kenpachi was implied to be a transcendent character, so he should at least be chrysalis Azien tier, so he is probably somewhere between mountain and island level. Whitebeard on the other hand is at least island level and could be country level or possibly higher. Whitebeard also has better on panel feats. So I think it's just safest to go with him.

@raziel2014: old whitebeard was calced upwards of small continental by certain people, with a minimum of country+ or large country depending on the calc.

The problem with your post is that your giving bleach calcs and multipliers stacked on kenpachi yet ignoring whitebeard's context. The whitebeard from above was on life support, stabbed through the torso, and had two heart attacks. The whitebeard here is the young adult primebeard with his full speed, power, and massively stronger haki.

Prime garp and Roger two manned rocks xebec, big mom, kaido , pre prime WB, and three other equals, plus the rest of their crew. Primebeard was a equal match for garp or roger.
