He basically got Vegeta's spirit fusion ability to drain life through physical contact instead of KI. I guess been able to reduce the opponents life span by 97.5% is alright. Isshiki had 20 hours and got less than 30 minutes. 2.5% of 1200 minutes (20 hours) is 30.

Mayuri scraps with Pernida onscreen numerous times and is shown to be able to react to him in speed.

BYM is not a brick, he doesn't LOSE abilities by gaining a new form. That isn't how it works(the anime showed this as well). He just chose not to use any superfluous moves because he was fighting someone who could resist or negate every one of his abilities and his only shot at winning was life drain.

Even with the absolute most bonkers wank you could EVER imagine, he is never touching Daemon or Shibai.

And that's with me being EXTREMELY charitable. In reality he gets vaped by any war arc high tier or beyond

So if he fought someone like Isshiki, or Daemon punches him, he takes their stats and powers. It’s really easy to see how he would clear Boruto
