All of the Flashes can tap into the Speed Force at will. If they couldn't, they wouldn't be Flashes. This is like saying "Hal Jordan is the greatest Green Lantern, since his ring runs on willpower".

Wally has a stronger connection to the speedforce than all the others, apparently this is what allows him to speedsteal as he can cut off other people's connections. Wally wins being officially the fastest Flash.

Barry on the other hand, IS the creator AND the release of the speed force, not sure how that works but read the new comics you'll see, thus the whole "speedsteal" thing does not work on barry, for all he cares barry can stop running thus the speed force runs out leaving barry the only speedster till he runs again. after flash point, a doctor help barry understand his "mind speed powers" thus he now can do alot of more shit. run 10 times faster than his max too.

thats not true at all.he doesnt move faster at all,he "thinks" faster now.his augcog allows him to get ahead of thr situation he is getting into,thats all. 
wally had the normal physical speedster powers,plus all the speedforce kinetic powers,which on power makes him shit tons more powerful than barry. 
barry jasnt used any kinetic abilities what so ever,he looks to have pre speedforce abilities,and now augcog. 
so wally should destroy barry,UNLESS barry can somehow seperate wally from the speedforce,AND i dont see that happening.

@stephens2177: Dude, please read, it is stated that by barry thinking faster, it allows him to get more juice out of the speedforce. And he now understands his abilities much better. Wally created those techniques yeah cool. But barry is basically a god.

if it happened prove it with scans or issue and page/panel.

Bump. Wally > Barry. Silver Age Barry couldn't defeat Wally either. Wally's plain faster an more powerful. It's like Professor Zoom vs Zoom.

Silver Age characters are notorious for the most ridiculous feats, Barry Allen is no exception. Silver Age Barry could run on light and fly through space. I don't know if OP was including Pre-Crisis Barry but Wally wouldn't stand a chance against him. Of course, I don't doubt that Wally could beat Post-Crisis Barry.

@yctatotb: I'm well aware of SA characters being practical plot devices. The fact is Barry has no feats of faster reaction time, no feats of being faster and morals off Barry has no defense for the Speed steal. Wally's more powerful, faster and has better overall feats.

Not to mention that Silver Age Wally also did most of the same feats Barry did. The vast majority of them aren't even applicable to a battle, anyhow, though.

Nooope. Hell, Speed Stealing was invented by Savitar who solely used it to speed steal from the Flash Family to give to his mooks.

Silver Age Barry was faster than Wally. Barry ran at lightspeed without breaking a sweat and could run at ten times the speed of light. Wally tires out at lightspeed nowadays. He was "so fast" that he could turn invisible and create temporary clones of himself. Also, Barry doesn't need a defense against a speed steal if he can simply vibrate his hand through Wally's brain.

I can say with total confidence that I've read at least 90% of every Silver Age comic involving the Flash and I'm willing to compare notes if you really want to pit Wally against a Pre-Crisis Flash, keeping in mind that it's totally unfair for Wally.

Silver Age Wally was nowhere near Barry in terms of feats. Barry even beat Wally in races back then, at a time when Barry wouldn't beat Superman, and we all know Superman is slower than Barry/Wally now. I do agree that a lot of his feats aren't applicable to this battle though.
