I believe a version of this has been done before, but mine's gonna be somewhat different. So when Barbara Gordon takes on Damian Wayne, who will win?

Composite pre/post Flashpoint versions of both

Fight takes place in the streets of Gotham. Starting distance is 20 feet

Victory by ko or death

Round 1:

Both are unarmed

Round 2:

Standard gear for both

Who wins?

Damian. His feats are just better. I have no idea what round 3 is.

Yea... Damian stomps here. All rounds. Not that Babara is bad, Damian is just simply a couple tier classes ahead of her.

In one of the rebirth issues, she learns how to shut off her eidetic memory, improving her reflexes and processing speed in combat

She was always kept junior league in combat skill.

Less we count the Simone run where she beat a bloodlusted Bruce Wayne...with context

DC needs to take some calculated risks.

Damian. It's not a stomp but it's not exactly close either.

Barbara is smarter and more logical. And Physically at least equal to Damian or even stronger.

But Damian is more resillient, durable, fundamentaly better and a bit faster than her.

Damian is arrogant boy so his bloodlust not gonna be good for him. Barbara lot smarter.. Gonna use his rage against him.. Im gonna go with Babs here.

Damien just outclasses her.. She could beat him in computer hacking tho..

@arcus1: I agree with the general consensus that Damian wins round 1 and 2. He's more skilled and has fewer morals and sentimental values. But Barbara puts up a good fight and I think in Round 3 she wins because without holding back she is a very deadly opponent.

Babs, giving Grayson a decent fight, is hilarious. I doubt she can hang with Todd.

@arcus1: How consistent is that showing with Nightwing? I stopped reading Barbara's material due to lack of interest. I remember that fight, but always interpreted it as him holding back.

I would agree. I was asking more in part if she has any other skill showings in order to justify that feat as something legitimate since I don't follow her material.

She's got your standard fodder wrecking, beats some superhumans, one of her best fights involves clearing through a substantial portion of her rogues gallery.

She's not good enough to present a significant challenge to a not holding back Nightwing, but is she good enough to put some pressure on a Nightwing who's holding back? Sure, but Damian could do that too

I mean, in theory, anyone could put some pressure on Dick if he held back enough, but that's beside the point

I'm basing this on Barbara using the Rebirth suit not the New 52 one, Damian wins the first two rounds and Barbara wins the third.
