@storm_calling:
Yamamoto is not aware of Rukia's abilities. She upgraded after Yamamoto died. OP says Yamamoto only knows what he already knows.
@valestini
Okay, so according to you, Rukia's Bankai works like magic, it generates Absolute Zero no matter what,
No more magic-like than Yamamoto's Reiatsu spontaneously becoming 15,000,000 degrees. The fact that Rukia'd still become absolute 0 is a characteristic of Absolute 0 itself, not just Rukia's Bankai. If Yamma throws a wave of fire, and Rukia shot an ice beam (which she may or may not be able to do at Absolute 0), Rukia's would win. Because Absolute 0 is more of a drastic temperature than 15,000,000. In order to be even questionable, you'd need Yamamoto to be the Planck temperature. Even then, it's technically not infinite energy still.
it might be the strongest technique in the manga.
Not in terms of power, Byakuya, Ichigo, Ect may be/are more powerful than her, but... it's absolute 0. You either Blitz her or you die.
I also find it contradictory that you want to apply physics on the characters, while you don't take "science" into consideration when it comes to generate Absolute Zero,
What scientific reason is there to believe that 15,000,000 degrees would stop her? IMO science leans towards Rukia being able to do it still. For reasons already explained.
its effects on non-material things or beings above a lot of pshysical laws (especially when they're spiritual entities and not normal material beings).
You're using that logic, while believing that 15,000,000 degrees works the same as it should IRL. Either they're both applied via science or neither. Spiritual being making Absolute 0 vs Spiritual being making 15,000,000. Absolute 0 wins.
The fact that they're souls shouldn't change anything. They still sweat, they still eat, they still sleep. They're still material beings, just a different kind. Humans are made of normal matter, Soul Reapers are made of Reishi.
Iceman vs Yamamoto, if Iceman uses Absolute 0, he'll win. Your excuse seems to be that Iceman would be physical, and not capable of effecting yamamoto, who is spiritual. But Rukia is spiritual just like Yamamoto. Where's the contradiction?
Well, if you're right, I guess we can also blame TK for bad writing.
What's wrong with the writing?
I remember Renji and Rukia concealing their Reaitsu, so they wouldn't be spotted by the enemy
That was long ago. They've already made their presence known and caused multiple huge explosions by now. The time for stealth passed with Renji's fight with Mask.
What you're saying about Kenpachi doesn't prove anything. If you don't manifest your Reaitsu, it might not be instinctively noticed
You're making it sound like a trivial statement, but if it was that, then there'd have been no point in writing the dialogue. Kubo clearly intended something. Your Reiatsu is always being pored out, you can just lower the level. Kenpachi wasn't in a fighting stance, in fact he was very disappointed when he saw Gremmy, so it makes more sense for him to have lowered it to the feelable range. I doubt the 11th division would fail to notice the Reiatsu of their Captain charging in for a fight.
There's a large difference between saying "Hm, you're all pretty powerful, I can't tell which of you is stronger" and "wait, how did we not even sense him at all?"
If all it was was "Oh, we didn't notice" then those two lines of dialogue are rendered utterly pointless and shouldn't have been focused on at all. But no, Kubo made a point to always have a character mention it.
And even if someone can be too powerful to be sensed, it doesn't mean it's the case for Rukia.
Sooo you can be too powerful to be sensed, and Rukia wasn't able to be sensed, but Rukia isn't too powerful to be sensed?
At this point, they transcend the boundaries between Shinigamis and Hollows. Ichigo is even Human and Quincy too. Rukia and Renji are 100% Shinigamis.
*sigh* not this again. Breaking the boundary between Hollow and Soul Reaper was a method of becoming more powerful Ichigo didn't become MORE of a hybrid by learning the FGT. He was always a hybrid. His different sides worked together and his power increased.
The Vizards are hybrids, but they're not transcendents.
At no point was it shown that Aizen became a hollow before he became a transcendent. The closest thing you have is his Final form, but his heart didn't melt into a mask, his face ripped off and pulled back revealing a creepy skull.
Byakuya didn't bother to interfere because he didn't feel he needed to
Right, because Rukia had it in the bag.
(after he saved her, without him, maybe she would have lost).
*scratching head* The only reason Rukia needed help was because of the Fear. A hax ability, not a power level. Byakuya gave her advice, calmed her down, made her feel comfortable, then said "Go get'em" and she curbed him.
A top opponent would be an Elite SR, Division 0, Aizen, Yama, Kenpachi without his eyepatch, etc...
Elite SR: They're on their way to fight them now.
Division 0 : Already got floored by Elite SR, so defeating Elite SR will be even better. Also, the 0 Division are the people who trained them and gave them their upgrades.
Aizen: Post or Pre-Hogyoku? I already gave you my thoughts on that.
Yama: He has been surpassed already. Between Osho, Dangai Ichigo, Hogyoku Aizen, Juha, Yama's time is over.
Kenpachi: Kenpachi's still injured to the point that Ukitake was amazed he could walk around. I don't expect Kenpachi to be back to his full power for the rest of the series, unless Orihime gets involved here.
Candice could have finished Kenpachi alone with Vollstandig
Yes, because Kenpachi was already injured more than 90% of the characters in this manga could be injured without dying.
By the way, at Absolute Zero, the meteorite would be destroyed, since matter stops and ceases to exist in its familiar forms (solid, liquid, or gas). Assuming it was matter of course, and not Reiatsu or something potentially unaffected by that.
Possible I suppose, are you thinking the Meteorite would just stop mid-air? I'm not sure how that would work. Rukia seems to isolate the ability to turn things to absolute 0, otherwise Absolute 0 existing on the planet should freeze the entire planet. Very similar to how Yamamoto's Bankai should kill everyone on the planet through heat alone, yet it didn't.
You keep saying that Reishi wouldn't be effected the same way as normal matter, but what reason is there for this statement? Characters can still get cold, they still sweat, Isane's skin got dry, Byakuya's fingers froze when he touched her, they have organs, they bleed. There's not much reason to believe that.
I'm taken back to the Fullbring arc, all matter has at least part of a soul in it.
Barragan was scarier than Stark, but it didn't mean he was stronger).
I'm not saying Barragan was stronger than Starrk, but I am saying that Barragan would win if they fought.
